A lot of money for a tiny room

It was clean and staff nice

Very small rooms Was meant to have garden view but just a maquette No vegan options available even though website menu showed there was Breakfast again vegan option involved chips (wedges) Drinks expensive

Good hotel in good place

Very pleasant staff (reception, bar & breakfast). Good location close to Crossrail station (Over). Courtyard. Real ale.

Great Breakfast

Great Breakfast, good food all round, nice bar area. Quiet comfortable room, great shower with a screen instead of a curtain that’s always a bonus. Good parking.

Passable

The chef went out of his way to pack us breakfast to go. The ambiance had a vintage charm about it. Flowers hanging outside were lovely.

On Booking.com, I searched on Heathrow terminal 5 and found this place. For the cost of the room plus the cost of the Uber to get to and from, we could've stayed at a better place that was more convenient for not much more $. It is far from the airport and cost us 44 pounds each way with Uber. The worst part of the experience though, was the check in. We arrived at 11 pm. Apparently, they stop checking in guests at 10 pm. We were advised that we were "lucky" that the employee was still there. When I told her that on the web site I said we would not arrive until 11, she said that doesn't matter because they never receive that info. Her long, nasty response to me put the blame on us because she said the confirmation stated clearly that registration closes at 10 pm. When you look at the confirmation, this info is way down the page which I never looked at once I saw it was confirmed. Why confirm when I gave a later registration time (this is probably a booking.com problem)? When I told her this, she accused me of "shouting her out" and said she was off the clock. This was our que to be grateful, but I told her I didn't appreciate being talked down to as if I was an idiot. And even if I had seen that registration closed early, they would've charged me to cancel. She did end up apologizing and offered us water, but it was too little, too late at the end of a long day. When we got to the room, it was cute but the floors were dirty (see attached).

Staff friendly, very helpful regarding the area and breakfast was very tasty.

Room was a bit on small size in regards to getting round the beds. Also no fan in room for hot weather (and it was very hot)

Very comfortable beds and nice rooms. The food was okay.

The terrace and the rooms could have been cleaner.

Excellent staff and manager/owner. Very good service all round. Great location for Elizabeth Line to London. Good location for Heathrow. Free car parking. Room clean, modernised and very nicely decorated.

Beds could be more comfortable. Better menu for dinner. Rooms in main hotel were small.

Perfect stopover in Iver!

Very welcoming and friendly manager and staff. Nice bar and food. Great room - really clean and comfortable (outside cabin) with terrace. Great breakfast too! Couldn't fault it.

We came in late and night, staff were super friendly and the hotel is perfect for anyone needing a comfy bed before a flight.

Disappointing

Decor was lovely

No draws to place clothes in 3 hangers on a rail, no were to place toiltress, no bin in the room except in the toilet. There are no glasses to drink water from. had to make a cuppa tea on the toilet lid as no shelfs in the bedroom.which was far too small for 2 single beds. Bacon at breakfast over cooked, beans cold. Could see and taste it had been cooked then microwaved. Had to ask for pillows as only 1 on each bed.

Lovely Place To Stay

Lovely decorated room. Clean and cosy. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom modern and clean. Food in the evening was traditional pub grub which was great. Cannot comment on the breakfast which was included in the price as I had to leave very early the next morning.

‘garden view’ is actually over the pub patio and noisy.

Good for overnight stop

The pub had a lovely cozy atmosphere and the food was nice. The staff were very friendly.

The room was small as expected, but don't see how it could be called superior. Having said that we had a good night's sleep before heading to the airport the next morning
