Location that’s it!
Never saw the person in the desk has a limited time (2 pm-8 pm approx). If you need to call you need to be able to dial internationally and has no WhatsApp and does not answer emails right away.
The bathroom has a good system of many showers and toilets however you have no place to put your shampoo or heavier things so they go in the floor though you got hangers in and lack of lighting inside. If you check in after 8 pm you need to go and pick up your card in a bar around the corner ( I don’t understand why can’t he leave it inside the building instead of one waking with the luggage in a bar and look for the person who gives you the card and charges you).
The rooms need better air flow!!
My bunk bead was squeaking whenever I would move the person in the bottom would wake up.
Good things: location, common amenities and that’s it.

People there are reliable and very kind!

Staff are really friendly and the pace is well located. The room was clean and comfortable.
It’s quite noisy because the hostel is quite old. So you can hear everything.

Staff, specially the girl receptionist that was very kind to explain everything very carefully.
Nothing, everything was good.

A localização, custo-benefício é ótima. Os atendentes foram bem solícitos, especialmente o Clayton. Eles tem um grupo de WhatsApp para marcar de sair de noite juntos, o que foi bem legal. Recomendo!

Friendly staff
Near transport
Little bit grubby and didn’t feel clean
Dingy and dark rooms had to do my hair and makeup
Im the hallway
No were to dry your towels
And not enough hooks in the female dormitory
Low height for bunk beds
Cheap nasty furniture
Ok for one night but wouldn’t stay again

The staff make your stay feel like you’re in a home away from home. It’s very comfortable to just sit on the couch and hang out with anybody and not feel weird. It’s a wonderful community.

Staff were very friendly and approachable. Each bed had their own plug. Spacious recreation room. Very friendly and hospitable hostel! Will stay again.
Lack of lockers but was replaced by a "cage" (but it still could not be locked).
Check-in closed at 9pm which was very early.

I loved how sweet it felt. It was like being welcomed into a friend of a friend's house. The staff was polite, and the facilities, comforting. I could access the kitchen, and then hang in the common room with my food, which felt very, very warm and cosy. The location, within walking distance of the town centre, was another draw. Even the rooms have an old-time regal feel to them, quite unexpected of a hostel, really. They let me keep my stuff in their main reception room, plus a locker, for almost 12 hours after I had checked out, for free. No questions asked, even. Made Belfast seem really really sweet.
I must be nitpicking, but carrying large suitcases up a flight of stairs becomes a bit painful. But then, the lack of modern elevators adds to the design and feel of the house. So, I am not really complaining.

The rooms and washrooms were clean and all the necessary facilities were available.
The hostel staff were helpful.
Common room had lot of things for entertainment and there is a kitchen with all utensils available for cooking on your own

Bathroom and toilet were clean
The duvets were very dirty, there were stains. The duvets and blankets were very dirty, stained and smelly. The reservation included breakfast. In my dream, breakfast was simple things like eggs, cheese and bread. But there was bread and some jam on the table.

The staff was always very kind and helpful. They're also putting a great effort in keeping the facilities clean and tidy. There's also plenty of bathrooms with their own toilet and shower, so no waiting in line. There's free breakfast every day, although I didn't get to have it more than once due to my poor time management 😅. It's also well located, with easy bus connection to the centre or just a bit of walking. Also close to the Queen's University, which is worth checking out.
Just to write something here, not the best bed you'll ever sleep in, but still great value for the money you pay.

Buon ostello per rapporto qualità/ prezzo e con colazione inclusa, vicinissimo al centro
Piuttosto freddo!! Orari colazione e bagno al piano di sotto solamente, nulla di grave ma non comodissimo.

Location, wifi, staff
Mattress was uncomfortable (I could feel the springs), the place was noisy, with people going up and down the stairs the whole night and banging doors. In general it was expensive for being a hostel (I paid more than £60 a night for a double room with shared bathroom and breakfast! which was poor "serve yourself" style, no hot meals served).

Staff were lovely. Very friendly. Tea, coffee and breakfast provided. Room was clean and neat. Great location.
Bathroom could do with a lick of paint but for a hostel, everything was grand!

The staff was not very friendly. I was eating dinner one night and the people who work/live there were having a party. They took over the entire dining area and instead of asking if I wanted to participate in their activities, one of female staff members asked if I needed to leave.

Shower was good, with good water pressure.
Very close to the Botanical train station. Close to the beautiful Queen’s university and botanical gardens. There’s a Tesco nearby.
The staff were often using the rather small kitchen/dining area and the living room, which as a result always felt busy. Dining area is just one large table, a bit awkward and sometimes not enough space for everyone. Staff did cleaning at the time when it suited them, rather than guests or at specific hours, so for example they told me to move my things from the table when I was having breakfast so that they could clean the table. Not a big deal but a bit annoying. Staff were never at the reception desk, you have to identify them in the communal areas among guests. The kitchen/bathrooms could do with a bit more cleaning.
Not enough toilets.
Check in is only until 9 pm, which is a bit too early for a city hostel.
It’s a 15-20 min walk from the centre and the bus terminal where the bus from the airport arrives.

The 6-bed mixed dorm was a bit cramped. I couldn't sleep well as the guys were snoring loudly. There are sockets next to each bed but they are located in somewhat weird places, I couldn't find them at first.

Really friendly staff and atmosphere, lots of socialising space and I slept really well.
The showers were a little ropey and the movement activated light in the one upstairs goes off while you're in the shower. Nothing major at all.
