Excellent location. Closer to Market Square and other tourist attractions. The reception is warm & friendly.
Everything was good. Only the hair dryer in the room didn't work
4.1
nice location, nice staff, good check in process, spacious room, good value
quite basic - could do with a few more comforts in the room such as a mirror, rug for wooden floor & iron
4.1
Great location right in the heart of Brugge, helpful staff and the beds were so comfy!
It is not the hotels fault because it is a very old building and cannot be helped, but when walking to/from your room the floors are extremely creaky and you can hear other people getting in late at night due to this. Breakfast was a fair price but not to my taste, I prefer hot breakfast and there was no hot option

This hotel was in an excellent location, just a short walk from the train station where we arrived, and you could get to all the main sights of Bruges very quickly! It was excellent value for money, our room was a very good size with a nice bathroom, and it was all extremely clean. The staff were very friendly
The beds were a bit too soft, we didn't find them that comfortable.
The floors are quite creaky and loud! You could always hear people if they were in the hall outside but it wasn't loud enough to wake us up during the night

location and the age provided some character. as well there was great external ventilation
nothing of note

The location is excellent. All attractions are within walking distance. It is quiet at night. The hotel room has a nice shower and toilet and they provide a daily room service.
The hotel is located in an old building and thus does not have an elevator. Be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs. We did not opt for the breakfast because it appeared to be costly.

Great location - you're 2 steps away from the main attractions;
Big room, big bed, nice view, goodies.
The staff.
Well, it was quite noisy, overall, but compared to other locations we stayed in, I can't say it was big difference :).
We had some 💡 problems in our first night, and the entire floor had no 🔌 for almost an hour. The emergency number didn't work (it was in flemish), the reception was closed and the issue was solved ONLY because we had a couple who speak the language; and they manage somehow to discuss with the manager.

Was provided a very large room in the loft of the building, with fantastic views. Modern furnishings, decor and bathroom. Kettle with complimentary teas and coffees were much appreciated. Location is ideal with a short 9 minute walk to the train station, and 5 minutes into the historic center.
Bathroom was quite small given the size of space. A few hanging hooks for jackets would have been nice to have.
The lobby and sitting area/breakfast bar were great spaces, however access is limited to only the mornings and afternoons. This also extends to reception hours. If you require anything beyond 6-7 pm, you're on your own!

Location is ok.
The Steps are made of Wood and if someone goes upstairs.it was loud and the other double room with small step to reach we have to take more attention to reach our room with our luggage.
The bed is not comfortable.
It was loud from outside and from the wooden steps if someone went upstairs.
Internet was not good.

The location was great & the bed was comfortable.
The clerk was very grumpy, but it was probably because the wi-fi was on the fritz.

Loved the big light filled room, the location and friendly staff

Location is very good, room size was good and the bed was comfortable.
Terrible customer service. We booked the deluxe room with air conditioning. Shortly after checking in, the air conditioning started leaking water onto the table beside the bed.
We turned it off, put down a towel and notified the person on reception and their response was that the manager was away so there was nothing they could do but would take a look, talk to her colleague and get an engineer out.
We checked again with reception the next morning, different person, who said she'd take a look immediately and get an engineer. When we retuned later that day, no engineer had been called, nothing was fixed and the receptionist decided to blame us, saying we had left the air conditioner on and leaking. When I told her it was off and hadn't leaked since the previous day, she very rudely cut me off and insisted we had left it on, because apparently we wanted water pouring into our hotel room. She offered no solution, no compensation, just that there was nothing she could do, we'd just have to put up with no air conditioning and maybe they'd get an engineer the next day.
When we went to the room there was a further leak, (I can only assume she turned it on to see if the leak started again) she had put a towel in a pot under the leak but because of the way she placed it, water splashed onto the pillow and mattress so we had to go down to her again.
Lots of muttering, again nothing she could do, cleaning staff were gone, she was busy, and it was all our fault. She offered no solution. We ended up having to flip the mattress and remake the bed ourselves. No engineer the next day either.
We paid for three nights in a supposed deluxe air conditioned room and got incompetence, excuses, insults, and the pleasure of dealing with a leak in the middle of our holiday.
Room also wasn't very clean. level of noise in the hotel was very bad. floorboards are creaky with gaps and bits of board pins sticking up. bathroom was tiny.

Great loaction, it is quite close to the Market Square and the all other places that you need to visit in Brugge. Staff was so kind and helpful. Last but not least the room was very clean as well.

The scary poster on the wall of the room 😭😂

lovely quirky room with great view
little soundproofing

The hotel is in a nice location between the train station and the centre of the town, in a quiet little street. The room itself was also quiet and comfortable, and the view from our window was fantastic. The staff are very friendly.
We were given a room on the top floor. The stairs to get there are incredibly narrow, and I was particularly worried about my mother and the prospect of going down them with our luggage. The windows could do with some cleaning and there was a mirror on the floor in a corner which also needed some dusting, though we couldn't really figure out why the mirror was there, unless it was decoration, as its location made it impossible to use. The lights in the bathroom are moody, but very dark, so not very practical. We went in to find that one of the bedside shelves was on the floor and had cobwebs on it, and the hairdryer had bare wires, but these problems were solved immediately once notified. The room also had a slanting ceiling which led to the occasional bump on the head, but that could also be my fault. Also, there is a slightly sewery smell in the entrance and stairs, but this may be because of the canals. The hotel itself is incredibly charming, but our previous stay was far better in more suitable rooms. All of the floorboards are old (I imagine to keep the original structure of the building), but this makes for a very noisy up and down.

only where is located
the price is to high for that kind of hotel
4.1
Location was perfect, very close to the center and lots of restaurants
The room was very nice and big, and the bed very comfortable
The staff was very friendly and helpful, they allowed us to leave the luggage after the checkout
The bathroom was really small, but sufficient.
The stair were little so you have to be careful when accesing your room, and there is not an elevator so you have to carry the luggage upstairs by hand.

The stairs were creaky and chalonging

It is very close to main attractions. The view from our room was beautiful!
Beds were a bit too soft for me.

The best thing about the hotel is the location, you literally step out in the middle of the city. The building in itself is old and nice, however it is not really well kept. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Although worn out, the place is clean.
It would have been nice if the door would have opened entirely but it didn't as the floor was old. Hallways smell a bit stale. Noises from outside are really audible in the room (like people dragging trolleys), but at night it was quiet.
The standard rooms we had, ground floor and 1st floor were very small, bathroom has some cabinet doors, you hear everything.

the hotel is in the very heart of Bruges.
spacious room, very comfortable bed.
literally less than 5 min from every must see spot in Bruges.

Few minutes from central area of Bruge but quiet and staff very helpful

I can definitely recommend this hotel, very nice English speaking staff, the view from the window was amazing. The mattress was great. The water pressure in the shower is excellent. Thank you for a great stay, I will be glad to return to the hotel again.

Good place, amazing location, beautiful view from the window, clean.
The door in a shower was completely broken, so 4 days we’ve been struggling with that.
You should be ready for a noise, because window is big and super old, 0 sound isolation. Also stairs are super old and you hear everyone walking around.
4.1
The accommodation is in a very central and quiet location. The room was clean and even though we arrived earlier they let us into the room. The staff was very kind
the bathroom was a bit small
