Our stay was "fit for a king".

The breakfast was wonderful. The castle is beautiful. There is a true botanical garden and the staff sang for my son's birthday. We enjoyed the the piano and the spa.

Meals could improve; all though specialty dinners are offered; there should also be hearty and less fancy meals.

beautiful location, stunning building. super friendly staff and excellent facilities. felt a special place.

pillows were very uncomfortable but managed to get changed. coffee was weak.

Calming retreat where you will feel at home

Very beautiful grounds, calming environment. Very clean, very kind staff. Loved the fireplace in the large knights room. Food is good but not exceptional. Cake was a treat though.

The temperature of the pool was too cold. We did not like the seperate duvets on the bed, one big would have been more comfortable.

Excellent and worth waiting for (had to cancel previously because of Covid travel restrictions)

We loved absolutely everything and will visit the hotel again next year probably with other members of our family and for a longer period.

The hotel is a lovely choice except the peicing and temperature of pool water

Approach of the staff, support from the hotel management, ameneties...

The very high pricing and not so good vegeterian food in the dinner. The water temperature of the pool was not warm enough.

Lovely spa, fantastic food and great restaurants in the castle. A bit pricy but definitely worth it.

Great facilities, amazing food and kind personnel. The drive up to the castle and the venue itself get you into a relaxed mindset instantly.

Porter is a very nice and genuine guy. Property is pretty & in good location, friendly staff but a little untrained as how to handle guests under the current rules

Wasnt asked if id been vaccinated so they instantly jumped to the conclusion that i needed to be tested. The girl doing the test was very pleasant though. AC was not working in room and they new beforehand and yet did not inform me, i had to leave 2 days early because of this and their inability to house me in a room with working Ac

The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Having stayed here before, the restaurant was quite disappointing. Limited choice & felt rather basic. The Michelin star restaurant was not available but I thought that the standard restaurant would have still been a good experience. It wasn't. We were woken on the first day starting at 06.30hrs by noisy loading, when questioned (ie. would this be repeated) they had no clue. The noise disturbed us again the next morning. So much for a restful break! Our complaint was dismissed at checkout.
