it had a amazing location near all the restruants and good bar drinks but pool could be a bit bigger

i personally think it was a wonderfull stay and the location was great we mostly walked to breakfast lunch and dinner the options in the bar near reception had a great variety of drinks and snacks we had a great stay x

i think the pool could have been a bit bigger we had to sit on the grass and our towels got a bit dirty the locks in the bathroom near the pool are not good we didnt have a extremely nice veiw it was just some bricks but stil a great comfortable stay x

Not the 4star experience we were expecting

The room was as described, Large beds, plenty of power outlets, the pool area was pleasant enough and the best service we received on our entire stay came from Sudhil who was manning the pool side bar. The Bathroom was pleasant enough.

Desk space in the room is minimal and considering that three adults were staying for five nights the wardrobe space was appalling, barley enough for one person let alone three. Suitcases had to be used instead which was not very convenient. Large walk in shower that leaked water out onto the floor of the shower. Only two bath towels and two hand towels, again three person occupancy, We took towels from the pool area to compensate, However there is only space for two towels on the rail to allow them to dry. During the whole stay our bed sheets were not changed Our stay was two weeks before the Olympics were due to start, with the sailing events being hosted in Marseilles. There was a dispute between the Hotel and the House keeping Provide over pay due the Olympic period (From what I understood from the protestors, Radisson were not paying the bonuses that other hotels were paying. My French is not the best but you get the jist). As a result, in true Gallic style, there was a protest outside main reception. Flower, water and strips of paper regularly covering the glass frontage, and an almost never ending siren which we could hear from the Room, the Pool and of course the bar and restaurant. Not nice to be woken up to every day. The restaurant looked nice but we only used it for one breakfast and one lunch, the food was pretty good but the service was appalling. One of three groups for lunch, fifteen minutes before the waiting staff approached our table, a further thirty minutes before the food was served. we encountered the save level of attention in the afternoon in the terrace bar. No one at the service station when we arrived, when a waiter did arrive he checked his desk and disappeared again. When he returned 5 minutes later he finally took an order. Talking with other guests this was not a one off experience. For private parties it was packed with waiting staff??

Hotel silenzioso seppur in posizione centrale al Vecchio Porto

Delusione totale. Non come gli Hotels Radisson presso cui abitudinariamente io e mia moglie siamo stati. Hotel un po' "datato" sia negli arredi che nel "design" Camera "povera", non accogliente non ci ha permesso di sentirci "bene" come normalmente altri Hotels della medesima catena, hanno potuto offrire. Nessuna "accortezza" negli accessori da bagno (seppur 4 Stelle). Hotel da rivedere e da riaggiornare sicuramente. Eviterò di tornarci

It’s a really lovely hotel, smells wonderful! and most of the staff are wonderful, just one or two a little aloof at breakfast. The pool is great, the breakfast is brilliant, and has something for everyone, all diets. Would be a ten but for the lifts frequently being out of service and having to walk up 3 flights to the pool on our last day, as well as a weird lack of toilet paper in the room. They didn’t leave a spare roll ever, and we nearly ran out by this morning with a family of three staying in one room.

Disappointing hotel for The Radisson group.

Nice location

The day we arrived housekeeping staff made a huge and noisy demonstration outside the hotel protesting the general manager for his racist and disrespectful behavior. It was impossible to even sit in the lobby till late afternoon. The second night of our stay, the hotel decided to close the pool in the afternoon and threw a dance party until 1:00 am the next day, with noisy music. We are hotel guests and we came yo use the pool but were denied access. Also the hotel cannot throw a noisy street party in the hotel premises with outside guests, disregarding and disrespecting completely the comfort of paying hotel guests. The front desk manager was extremely rude and disrespectful against our reaction to the hotel’s attitude. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Bien mais pas suffisant pour cette catégorie d'hôtel

Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement près du port, la propreté de la chambre, de l'hotel, le petit déjeuner, la gentillesse du personnel tant à l'accueil que des personnes qui géraient l'entretien

la vue de la chambre sur un mur, les travaux non annoncés. Nous avons découvert les travaux de l'hotel en arrivant.... Une surprise désagréable même si le service était présent. C'est bien dommage ce manque de communication pour ce type d'hotel avec des prix de chambre dans la fourchette haute. Un effort est a faire sur le respect du client dans l'information de ce qu'il trouvera en arrivant, jolie porte d'entrée ou barrières de travaux. La première impression est importante !

Very comfortable stay

The property is extremely well located. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The bathrooms are large and excellent. The rooms are newly renovated. Plenty of restaurants all around the location makes it easy to sightsee, dine, walk. I must make a special mention of Gaelle at the reception desk. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Without her our stay may not have been as pleasant since another receptionist I would rather not name was pretty difficult. Gaelle showed us how to get around Marseille, helped us with dinners and gave us great suggestions. Great job!

Malgré tout, beau séjour sur un des plus beaux ports de la Méditerranée.

Très belle situation dans le port de Marseille. En travaux, dommage et non signalé lors de la réservation. Chambre parfaite un peu de difficulté d'accès pour l'instant. Petit déjeuner...pour un 4 étoiles on pourrait s'attendre à mieux. Côté Bar c'est bien d'avoir des tables propres et non collantes . Le personnel à l'accueil de l'hôtel parfait ,courtois et soucieux de notre bien être.

Il y des travaux dans l hôtel il faut monter à pied. Il y avait trop de vent froid on n a pas pu profiter de la piscine. Petit déjeuner sans confiture maison et moyen dans la qualité.

ATTENTION TRAVAUX JUSQU’À FIN AVRIL au Radisson Blu Vieux Port.

Très déçu de notre séjour au Radisson. Nous avons réservé une chambre pour la nuit car dans l’appartement de mon amie situé à 5 min de l’hôtel il y avait des travaux dans le Logement du dessus le lundi matin et nous avions besoin de nous reposer pour une grosse journée travail le lundi aprem et soir. Nous arrivons le dimanche soir, très bien accueilli. La réceptionniste nous surclasse avec une chambre vue sur le Vieux-Port. Nous la remercions et rejoignons notre chambre. Le lendemain, à partir de 7h40 nous entendons des travaux au dessus. Ce n’est même pas l’heure légale pour commencer des travaux. Nous décidons d’appeler la réception pour leur demander s’il est possible de les arrêter, ils acceptent sauf que ça ne s’est jamais arrêté. Nous tentons de rappeler une seconde fois, et très étonnamment, personne ne répond. Je n’ai jamais vu la réception d’un hôtel ne pas répondre à leurs clients. Au moment du check out, nous demandons s’il est possible d’avoir un geste commercial de leur part. La réceptionniste nous refuse toute réduction sans même discuter avec nous car je cite: « vous avez déjà reçus un surclassement de notre part donc nous ne ferons aucun geste commerciale ». Cette vue sur le Vieux Port était donc un cadeau déguisé :) Nous lui expliquons la situation: que mon amie a un appartement que nous avons fuit pour éviter le bruit des travaux. Au final nous déboursons 140 € pour rien car nous recherchions la tranquillité que nous n’avons pas eu. Nous avons donc payé pour un service que nous n’avons pas reçus et qu’il aurait été préférable que nous soyons informé des travaux. Aucun intérêt dans notre cas d’aller à l’hôtel. Elle accepte suite à ça un « geste » de -10%. Autant dire que c’est se foutre complètement du client (-14€ sur un total de 140€ ). Je précise que nous sommes jeunes mon amie et moi et je ne sais pas si cet élément a fait que nous n’étions pas prises au sérieux.

L'expérience a été décevante pour le prix et le standing de cet hôtel. La chambre et le mobilier sont anciens, le lit double est en fait 2 matelas simples collés, le wifi est lent, la salle de sport était en travaux... Beaucoup trop de points noirs pour avoir un avis positif. Vous trouverez mieux et moins cher ailleurs

Really nice hotel in excellent location in the centre of Marseille to all the action

Excellent location overlooking the port and right next door to shops and restaurants. Very comfortable bedrooms although the hallways outside of lift we’re a little musty smelling don’t let that out you off. Pool area really nice. Very friendly staff.

Great location for exploring Marseille

Room was basic but functional and clean. Pool is lovely, staff were incredibly helpful in recommending restaurants, beaches, public transport routes etc Location can’t be beaten!
