The breakfast and the spa is awesome. We met some cute cats nearby. Lovely place!

Nice location and setting
Added payment to our original quote as payment didn’t go through on their end. Added €21 to our payment as we took a bottle of water from the minibar and didn’t disclose this at checkout - however this was because (like many reviews state) no one was at reception to tell. Extra fee was a “labor charge” because it apparently took €21 worth of labor to see one bottle of water had been consumed!

the restaurant was okay but not so gut

Gorgeous country property with very peaceful bathing pond and incredibly clean spa. So close to the city, it’s a much better choice if you have a car.
Unfortunately, if you do not speak German, expect to be confused. My house was not on main property and there are No clear directions printed on website or at property. Also, more often than not, there is no one at reception— it’s typical only one person is doing check in, spa, and bar. Expect to wait for everything.

Excellent and very helpful staff. Nice quiet place not far away form the city center. Highly recommended.

It was clean, and comfortable. Not far from Desdén center.
I would use it next time. Maybe better with kittens then ))
It was not that I didn't like, that was thing of my son. He was afraid a lot of decorations with witches))

The location is really nice.
The dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast were super good.

This is a complex of different houses with various rooms. Ours was above the sauna - the building we were in was still undergoing work but we did not hear any of that. Lovely view from the window and, in the main, quiet at night. The restaurant at the Hexenhaus itself serves tasty German fayre. The sister place, Herrenhaus, has a lovely beer garden which is good to sit in at night. There was also a cool area (temp wise) beside a pool which was nice and shady - although I wouldn't want to swim in the pool as it seems actually to be a natural pond... Well placed as a starting point for trips to Meissen and Moritzburg Palace.
The room was very hot, with no air-con and no fan. There was a sauna under the room which it seemed guests from outwith the hotel used in some kind of "sauna club" one night - which may only have made the room hotter - although to be fair the weather itself was very hot during our stay. Transport to Dresden centre is not great so we drove our hire car in to town and found that we could park at SemperOper car park all day for just 5 Euros (which is actually a "like", as a family day ticket would have been 11 Euros - although it meant we couldn't have a drink when in the city)! We also paid 7,5 Euros to use the car park during our stay when, in hindsight, we could easily have parked on the street for free - but hey ho...
