good communication we speak:
DEUTSCH, GERMAN, ENGLISH & RUSSIAN and will any other language as well
The place is well connected to all other city parts.
The neighborhood around is full of life, an atmosphere that artists like Pablo Picasso or Cartier Bresson would have loved.
In front of the door you experience Old Europe at is best. So you don´t need to listen to a tourist guide who tells you about the great past and the extraordinary of that place. Its still there.
The historic market around the corner is unique and nowhere else in Europe you find places like this for such a price. Try the home made honey and apricot jam from the farmers who come in the morning together with a fresh white bred or the Hungarian Kifli. Also don´t forget the world famous Hungarian Salami. It goes best with yellow paprika, white bred and fresh butter.
The cheese stand on the right side is outstanding and provides you with home made products and fresh milk. Ask for the smoked cheese.
Bring one of the empty glass bottles from my kitchen and the nice woman (speaks English) will fill it up right in front of you with fresh cow or goat milk.
Opposite the cheese stand you find a place where they sell bred and yoghurt. The yoghurt is the best one I ever tasted in my life. They offer it with rasberries, strawberries, peaches and many other tastes.
Ask also for kefir and turorudi rools - its a chream cheese filled chocolate roll. This one will make your day.
The café Csiga on the corner of the market hall is a good place for a cheap breakfast or a good night beer. Its filled with intellectuals and artists. On the opposite side there is a Gulash restaurant - cheap and great to experience.
Four minutes walk away you can allready enter the famous New York coffeehouse, as big as half a soccer field. But there are other ones around the city who are great too and cheaper.
Just start to stroll throughout the streets and you will love it. To the river Duna you walk arround 6 to 8 minutes. Depends on your speed. In that direction you will find other nice little shops of the neighbourhood.
Dont forget to pack your bathing suits and the best after your arrival is to go to the Szechenyi Fürdo. You can take the tram to Octogon and then change to the second oldest subway in Europe the Földalatti in the direction to Mexico Ut. The station of the thermal bath has the same name like the bath. Its a 15 minutes trip or 6 minutes by taxi. After the first hour in the both bathes, try the Thai Massage for 30 Euro per hour. There are Thai masseuses from Wat Pho in Thailand. You dont get a Thai Massage anywhere else that cheap and good in Europe. Its almost like on the beach of Ko Samui and its very warm on the place they do it. So it feels totally right. After all that get a bottle mineral water out of the machine in the entrance hall. Even better the fresh Orange Juice from another machine, before you leave.
For dinner find out about the Menza Restaurant near Octogon at Liszt Ferenc tér 2. Two people can eat for 30 Euro with drinks. Its really high quality. For the evening its better to make a reservation.
for cheap taxi please call (phone number hidden) - its cheaper then the normal one and they speak english
tram in front of the house every 5 minutes
If you need pick up from the airport or train station, please let me know and I can send a driver.

Budapest winter 2019
Pros: Lovely flat/ good location/ great host
Cons: old / dated building. We wish the beds were more modern and the mattresses were thicker . New / modern beds / better pillows and mattress would make this flat exceptional. Also we wished there was a TV . Its always nice to catch up on news in the evening after sightseeing.

BEST FLAT EVER ***** 5 stars *****
We stayed with our family and the grandparents. This flat is more then big enough for 6 guests. The advertising says 140 sqm meter, but it feels like 160 sqm. Great bathroom, great desing, great location, silent and in the middle of everything. We liked the space, the wooden floors, the high ceilings and the Palazzo Feeling. Impressing for all of us and we would love to take this flat home and stay longer. Budapest by the way is also super great :) THANKS FOR THIS EXPERIENCE

impressive big and luxury flat right in the centre
We stayed for 5 days in the Deluxe Apartment. Everything you need is there and more. The bathroom is heated, what is nice in early spring and in the morning. The flat is well decorated, modern and stylish with a touch to the classic note of an old European city. Its just perfect and we enjoyed it a lot. The beds are all super clean and protected. The elevator brings you the one of the last floors and there you have a bright view outside the window on one of the big Boulevards. The flat is silent. We all slept very well. The space is amazing - 140 sqm of hard wooden floor. Its just the thing you wish to live in at home. The location is good. You can walk from here to everywhere or take the tram or subway right in front of the door. There is an old market around the corner with lots of interesting and fresh stuff. Wine directly bottled for you, lots of meat, vegetables, fruits and also a bigger grocery store in the middle. Its fun to go there and discover things. Some older ladys sell there homade products as well. Just great. Budapest itself is amazing and so we enjoyed the city and the flat a lot. Low Budget and great Hospitality. THANKS

Amazing Stay
We came with friends and this flat is a great place right in the centre. If offers life style and taste plus high end comfort for a youth hostel price. I highly recommend it.

excellent and deluxe - right in the centre
We planned a long weekend in september and came with 6 friends. The Deluxe is much nicer then on the images. Its central location, you decide to walk, take the tram or underground. Everything is right there, also 24/7, bars, restaurants. Budapest is a fantastic city and in my opinion much more interesting then Prague. The people are friendly and the food is outstanding, but the pastry. YUMMI. The flat is amazingly big and the house got elevator that makes it comfy for check in and also after long days walking you are happy to use them. The apartment is quiet and got everything you need, dishes, silverware, pots and kitchen stuff is there. If feels a bit better then home, I must say. So I already think about renovation and use some stylish elements of this apartment for ourself. Like the Italian coffee maker, once you know how it works, it makes a great cappuccino in the morning. Thanks for all the infos you gave us. See you again. M.P.

We spent 5 fantastic days in this Deluxe Apartment. Amazing quality for low budget. Lots of space - everything is big. Bathroom got a heated floor, feels very good in the morning. All of us (6 including children) got there space and spent a good time. Its also silent and you get a good sleep after exploring the beautiful city. Plan to come back very soon . . .

great - just great
The apartment is super clean and modern. We are family with two children’s and this place was just for us. Great central location. Nearby have a parking, but Sunday and Saturday (from Friday evening 8pm on) is free off charge on the street. We liked the style and the coffee machine. The apartment is bigger then ours at home and we would love to stay much longer. You get used to comfort and style very fast. Thanks for all the tipps Frank. see you again Max, Martha, Jill and Meggie

Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung

Super Wohnung in 1A Lage - Einfach Klasse
Was will man mehr. Danke für alles.

Sehr gute Wohnung in ausgezeichneter Lage

great place in a great neighborhood
We had have a great time in Budapest. The apartment is wonderful and stylish furnished. If you want to cook or just make your own breakfast, than the kitchen provides everything you need. But actually the neighborhood is the right place for having lunch or dinner too. Check out Jelen, Menza or Köleves. Our district Józsefváros is my favorite one. It reminds me of a Berlin in the 90s. Best time ever.
