The room and facilities were amazing.
The restaurant was very expensive and the meals tasted amazing but the portions were small. Breakfast was amazing but again very expensive.
4.2
The grounds and the spa
Uncomfortable chairs in the bar

great place, but it seems that the concept is more focused on people with membership, rather than guests of the hotel, which is ridiculous to me.
very clean and beautiful around, food is ok, breakfasts are the worst part.
i do not understand how they created such a little menu for breakfasts.
when you go to such beautiful places you expect more luxurious meals.

The best part for us was the spa. Lots of different saunas/steam rooms and 2 great size pools inside and outside.
We dined at Latymer their Michelin star restaurant. Great food. For us though, 3hrs for a 6 course tasting menu was just too long. We ended up skipping a course or 2. The food in my opinion should have come out more quickly. And we should have been out within 2 1/2 hrs max. So you don’t get to the point of asking how long it will be until the next course.
No minibar in the room. When you want a drink when getting ready, ordering it via an iPad, then waiting 30 mins wasn’t ideal.
Secondly the bar prices were ridiculous, £50 for 2 large g&t’s seemed total overkill. That’s more expensive that Nobu, Zuma, Hakkasan etc without the same vibe.
Great food in Latymer, but as mentioned, the timing wasn’t quite right on the 6 course tasting menu. So we ended up skipping courses

The rooms feel luxurious and are well equipped and the spa is absolutely beautiful.
Only a couple of things spoilt our stay, one was unfortunately an extremely rude member of the night reception team and also the outside hydrotherapy was under maintenance.
4.2
vary spacious rooms, the electrics operating the lights in the room was bonkers
you had to turn different switches to get different rooms alight , not straight forward

it’s gone downhill
staff was rude, tried getting us to use spa after 4pm and we arrived at 10am. told us we can go on a walk for 6 hours…. menu changes for room service, no more sky sports in the rooms. breakfast wasn’t great, service was awful and waiter told me not to tip unless I had cash because he wouldn’t get it… just not what I expected

spa and food was amazing
We booked a suite for our honeymoon to spend for 2 nights and they never cleaned the room after the first night. There was a dirt mark on the bedsheet and instead of changing the sheet they just flipped it over. Also when we said it was our honeymoon when we booked they said they could put a bottle of champagne in the room which they then tried to charge us for. Very disappointed especially when spending over 2 grand during our stay.

everything was excellent
nothing
4.2
facilities were good but staff assistance poor
no valet parking! the parking lot was two hundred yards from reception
no one to show to room which was 100 yds from reception
no masseuses available which defies the point of paying £500 per night to stay
main dining room was very cafeteria in functionality with 7 star prices !
4.2
the spa itself is amazing
£155 for a 60 minute massage is greedy. The phone in the room was archaic. The breakfast delivered to the room was 3 crossiants for 2 people not even warmed

Absolutely amazing spa, even though there was no available appointments during our stay we left feeling totally refreshed and relaxed. this spa has everything you can ask for and much more!
The staff was very welcoming and lovely throughout the stay.
The room was spacious and very comfortable, the bed and pillows were super comfy (when I booked the room I asked for a pregnancy massage and from this only information they had prepared the room with a pregnancy pillow for the night, that is first class service!!). During the night the room was dark and totally quite, just perfect and we slept so well!
We had dinner and breakfast at Hillfield with great food and service. Our expectations were quite low since we had decided not to go to the Michelin star restaurant (it didn’t felt worth the money while being pregnant) but we’re so happy with our choice and ended up having a four course dinner at the Hillfield, with great wine suggestions for my husband and really nice dishes and excellent service.
Thank you so much Pennyhill for givning us the best mini babymoon ever ❤️

An absolutely stunning hotel, stunning spa and Latymer
was amazing for our evening meal.
Everything was a 5 star standard.

Spa and restaurants very good.
Rooms little dated and poor housekeeping

Some of the staff were amazing and very helpful
We had dinner in the latymer restaurant, proposed to my partner, so we were watching a Instagram video of how I didn’t it and had a very rude couple, giving us dirty looks they also complained. So we had to move tables, it ruined our night so we ended up going to bed then leaving early the next day

Loved the spa, it is outstanding. The pool bar was great with a good selection of food and drinks. Our rooms were nice and well maintained. The grounds are lovely. The staff were efficient and friendly. Breakfast was great with loads of options.
The restaurant is completely soulless, it is like a nicely decorated cafeteria, the food was good but very overpriced for the surroundings. In the rooms I think for a hotel charging over £600 a night for a basic room you would expect fresh milk in a mini fridge, long life milk is not good enough. In one of the rooms, Columbine, there is the most extraordinary bath but it is completely impractical as it would take hours to fill, we had 6 rooms the other 5 were great.

Great wifi seems to be compatible with my work computer which is rare. Great spa
Service at the restaurants could have been quicker but to be fair the waiters were all working super hard, it’s just understaffed like most places

Beautiful grounds and woodlands
stayed in Violet junior suite: Water leak made carpet wet and musty smell , TV did not work, window blind was broken, bathroom lights failed, swimming facilities overcrowded, Dinner service poor: 45 minute wait for starter, 45 minute wait main course, went to reception to complain upon check out, Duty Manager unavailable, waited for one hour but did not appear, then left contact email and phone number but nobody contacted me. Have stayed in this hotel many times previously (10), standards have dropped dramatically. Do not bother wasting your time and money at this hotel, you will be more than disappointed

The whole place is amazing. Couldn’t fault it at all
Searched through the tele to find a radio station, to listen to music while getting changed and it wasn’t working
4.2
lost my staffs baggage , couldn't allocate our rooms long wait in reception. staff un organised.

Very pet friendly
We booked one of the most expensive room and there was no room service; no turn down service: we paid £3k for one night and it was not in any way worth it, no space in the spa, or faculties around. Despite a great dead of feedback to the place themselves they offered me 25% off to come back which was still a huge amount of money for a really disappointing stay. I’d book the Clivdeon instead, MUCH better value for money.
