High quality traditional hotel in the centre of Keswick.

The single room I had was compact but not small and excellently equipped with a large single/small double bed. The hotel is located in Keswick's main street so convenient for all the town's facilities. There was a huge range of cold and hot dishes on offer at breakfast, and the poached eggs with smoked salmon dish I opted for was delicious. The hotel also runs a great parking system (£2 per night to use the large public car park behind the hotel, since it has only a few parking spaces of its own).

Lovely stay, in a perfect central location.

Location and breakfast superb. Quality products used and cooked well. Hotel really clean throughout and updating in public spaces clear to see and looked lovey

Room incredibly small. A smaller bed would have given more space as difficult to move around. Location above function room was noted and I would have been upset if it had been in use during my stay. Thankfully it was not. I appreciate that rooms on your site are discounted due to less than favourable aspects to them, but feel for the room size the price should have been lower.

Excellent breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Good location.

The room was booked as a classic room but was smaller than the one classic opposite , wasn’t like the photo on the website. It didn’t have 2 chairs and small table. Otherwise everything good.

Comfortable and pleasant. Great food, nice room and friendly staff.

Room was comfortable with a great shower. Bed was nice although bag storage was a little compromised. Food was great, I didn't have breakfast as up too early but my partner said it was really nice. I was woken through the night by other guests making noise as they went to bed. Not the hotels fault but it might be an idea to request guests respect other guests right to an early night and be quiet. Overall very happy with the hotel.

Rooms inconsistent in size. Booked 2 doubles both different and felt shirt changed at 175 a night for a tiny room with a small bed in (double not long enough if over 6ft tall and not wide enough for a couple if one is heavy (but not fat) Booked table for 10 in restaurant, issue with 1 meal - undercooked chicken served to a pregnant member of our party . No apology given just took price off the final bill . This is a big negative response. On reflection price is not value for money given room size

Very relaxing close to all the shops bars restaurants will certainly return.

Location fabulous, a market was on when we arrived very busy nice shopping, very nice clean comfy room, breakfast was delicious plenty to choose from, staff friendly, nice bar area. Would certainly visit again, really enjoyed our stay.

Staff at reception very friendly . We had been before but a first impression is always important.

Room was quiet after the function going on below ended. 11.30pmish. Didn't have any noise at all on remaining 3 nights. Breakfast food was excellent. Good quality. Location ideal for us as we were at the KFF. But central for anyone wanting a night out in the town.

Great location, staff very good but food below par compared to previous stays there.

Room was very clean with all necessary mod cons

For dinner, my wife's fish was very overcooked...probably reheated (very crispy brown batter). Eggs Benedict at breakfast was luke warm and the ham was very cheapy type.
