Clean, welcoming, and very friendly.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, professional and courteous. We were even given a complimentary drink voucher on our arrival. We were also offered a meal deal for the restaurant, however we declined as we had already booked a table at the nearby Harvester. Breakfast was nice, and I know you can't please everyone, but I'm old fashioned and still enjoy black pudding, hash browns, and sloppy tomatoes; sadly all missing. Plenty of other choices available though, so no bad feelings.

We're used to sleeping in a king-sized bed, so unfortunately found the standard sized double in our room a little uncomfortable. I was expecting air-conditioning in the room too, which kind of swayed my decision to stay there in the first place as it was hot outside, however there wasn't any and the room did get a bit uncomfortably hot, especially when the wife fired-up the hair dryer! Apart from those two pretty minor, possibly irrelevant first-world issues, it's an absolutely lovely place to stay.

Relaxing, greet staff, exceeded our expectations😁

Upon arriving we were greeted by a lovely staff member Grainna. She told us we were guests of the day- and gave us free parking, goodies in our room, and free drink vouchers. We stayed in the executive suite. It was spacious, clean, and bright. The only negative was the shower didn’t have much pressure and wasn’t very hot (but only with the morning shower). The kids used the pool and hot tub. I used the gym, it was great! I would stay here again.

Goed gelegen in het mooie Cotswold UK met aangenaam en vriendelijk personeel

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Elke dag verse handdoeken en bed verschoont in afspraak met het huishoudend personeel. Fitness, zwembad en restaurant en bar.

Restaurant soms wat beperkt in keuze als je er langer verblijft in het hotel. Het eten zelf is verzorgd maar weinig kruiden en dus weinig smaak. Het alternatieve Indische menu was veel smaakvoller. ontbijt was prima alleen de zoutvat verdelers waren veel te grof en je kreeg zo teveel zout op je bord. Op de badkamer waren de tissues en het doucheschuim op, maar dat was pas op de 7de dag van de 8.

The staff and cleanliness make up for decor from a bygone age; and you can park your car.

The hotel has plainly been acquired "as is" by Leonardo. It's an older hotel with many holdovers from another age. So slightly well worn. But it was clean, the room had a certain retro feel and the staff were very well presented and friendly. I would stay there again.

It's not the most modern and new. Slightly worn down. But not disastrously so. Indeed if you like an 80's retro vibe, it's kinda cool. And the price is fine. The staff are nice. Why complain?

Great value for money trip to a well located hotel. Clean and comfortable with nice bar area.

Bed was so comfy. Bathrooms are a bit dated but great value for money. Room well equipped and super clean so very happy. Breakfast was amazing.

Bathrooms dated. Would prefer separate shower Never use a bath in a hotel.

Staff were great, shame about the old and dated rooms/bathroom

Staff were great really helpful and greeted me every time. The bar and the breakfast was good too. Bed was really comfortable. Car park was good too but small, I can imagine at times that people may struggle to park up.

A lot of noise could be heard from the traffic outside especially sirens going past. The bathroom had a lot of mould on the grout and sealants, broken tiles and there was a bit of rust in some places too. Would have expected more from a Leonardo Hotel as it's a lot more old tired and dated than the others I have gone to.

For the price we paid and the service we received, we were very happy and would stay again.

Layout was nice and comfortable; room was clean and appealing; restaurant meals were nice and staff were helpful. Easy check-in (done online) and only had to pop in and pick up the key. Car Park had plenty of room and while a small fee was payable, it was very handy and worth it.

Very enjoyable. The hotel was recommended to us by a friend and we weren’t disappointed.

Easy to find. Parking on site. Swimming pool and gym on site and free to use. Good price. Spacious suite. Good food. Complimentary drinks and discount on food. Pleasant staff. Great bus links to Cheltenham and back.

Can’t think of nothing specific but the property is clearly fairly old. Some of the furnishings are worn.

Excellent for an over night stop over.

Light and airy with comfortable seating areas. Clean and well appointed rooms with comfortable beds. Very helpful staff especially in the restaurant. The swimming pool was a real bonus.

The room got too hot and the window didn't open very far.

I informed the hotel one of the rooms we booked was for our mum and dad and it was their 50th wedding anniversary. The hotel made them feel so special by surprising them with a bottle of prosecco, chocolates and towels folded into swans. The 2nd night they also left a token for complementary drinks. We arrived 3 hours before check in but as the room was ready they allowed us to check in. Nothing was too much trouble, hotel lovely, very clean, lovely staff, breakfast was gorgeous.
