Un posto incantato, lontano dalle catene di hotel tutti uguali, vivi un'esperienza che non dimenticherai
Il giardino è un po' meno curato, ma fa parte dell' atmosfera del posto

Fabulous setting and beautiful grounds with sculptures, fountains, gazebos, etc. Swimming pool pristine and classy. Breakfast buffet the best!
First room they gave us was the Indian, with strange artefacts, dark and stuffy atmosphere not at all suited for anyone with allergies.
Finally we were very happy in the Greek room.

It was a lovely boutique hotel and had the most amazing rooms and bathrooms decorated so beautifully , so private and very quirky . The gardens were so lovely and the resident cat and dog were so friendly. Need a car to travel to Arles but we knew its location when we booked it. The pool was lovely and had a great stay with our two kids who enjoyed the pool at night without restrictions. Lovely staff who were polite and helpful.
We looked at the breakfast and thought to skip it as it looked very average for the price. Nothing too negative other than the front desk is not open after 9pm but it didn't affect us.

The grounds were amazing
It was slightly run down - shabby chique

This place has a very special "Genius Loci", it's own special character with Africa touches, castle-like interiors. Big garden. Very nice and well maintained pool. Great, really rich breakfast. And fantastic personnel. All interactions we had with all the people were really nice, very pleasant, thank you!
We had very bad room. Far, very far away from 4**** hotel. It's bad and breakfast, not a hotel by the way, but that's not an issue. You don't expect to have those retractable plastic curtains in your bathroom, combined with ages old pipes and water taps. Curtains in the rooms not to touch because they were not cleaned for ages too. Beds perfectly clean but all corners actually dirty, with this old equipment it is actually not possible to keep it clean. Needs big upgrades. And the garden...must have been nice in the past but is not maintained, dirty ponds giving the rise to huge amount of mosquitos everywhere. No, this was not a good deal for the money we paid.

A great place to stay. An interesting layout, with great grounds; pools, lawns; perfect in hot weather. Plenty of parking.

Lovingly restored and classy additions in all aspects of the hotel, spa and gardens
The directions on Booking. Comm take you to the wrong location. Not the property’s fault.

Beautiful premises.. full of treasures (we discovered the chapel only upon checking out)
… the garden is a little parched by water regulations.

great decorations ,antiques and very interesting garden
it had the overall feeling of neglect, what had once been well looked after was now ignored. The garden was overgrown ,the garden bar was capable of being fantastic was filthy. Our room was a premium garden room and the sheets were damp , mosquitoes everywhere as the garden contained at least four pools. Hardly any staff visible and a low level of active service.
Apparently the owner was living in Switzerland……..

Perfect gem of a find. Oozes character and charm. It is just outside Arles, so a drive into town for dinner. We got lots of excellent recommendations of where to go. We just loved the Mas, full to the brim with wonders and curios. Tennis court and pool. We went to the bird park, awesome. Dont miss that but go in trousers. Mossies are serious.

The uniqueness of the property and the gardens, the great European breakfast and the central location to tour the region.
A little hard to locate at first as it is off the beaten path.

When we travel abroad, we don't waste time in the hotel. But this time we really enjoyed spending time in the hotel and its beautiful gardens.

Such a beautiful property, the price was good and the staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I also loved their dogs :)
The mosquitos!

Very big garden with a big variety of plants but not totally well kept. it would need more “cleaning up” in certain parts of it. The pool was fine.
Visitors should be aware that the property is isolated from everything. The only possible meal is breakfast which means that one has to take the car to get lunch and dinner. If one is looking for a place to relax, it’s fine but not comfortable from the meals standpoint.

Lovely hotel with a great pool. Really lovely gardens that you can sit out and dine in. The staff were very friendly.
Location wise this hotel is just a 10 minute drive from Arles which was handy.
There is no bar or restaurant which we overlooked when booking. Breakfast is available but other than that make sure you bring anything you need.
This wouldn't put us off staying again, we will just be more prepared next time.

Our first stay was amazing. It was so good we book to come back a few weeks later. I thought I had booked the same room (I made an error as they have different levels of quadruple rooms that I was not aware of). The lower level rooms are unimpressive and we are really disappointed that we returned. What’s more I am disappointed that no one thought to tell me when it was clear in the booking that I was trying to book the same room. Even if only to mange the expectations of our arrival.
Customer service.

A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE OF TRANQUILITY CALM IN BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS
SUPERB LARGE SWIMMING POOL
VERY GOOD BREAKFAST
THE LACK OF ANY SERVICE AFTER BREAKFAST
THERE IS NO RESTAURANT OR BAR AND ONE HAD TO GO SHOPPING FOR WATER ETC.

It is a charming place to stay we enjoyed the quirky decorations and the lovely garden and pool
The room smelt a bit damp and fusty

Breakfast was nice in a leafy setting
This hotel is unsafe and in fact dangerous. In the middle of the night a HUGE heavy mirror fell off the wall and crashed to the floor, it missed our sleeping son by inches, it was a terrifying experience. On examination the mirror had been fixed to the wall with a couple of flimsy inadequate hooks. We were really shaken and it was impossible to sleep after that. The hotel manager was unapologetic and argumentative. Horrific experience and awful place to stay.

Pool was lovely - the pool surroundings were basic and in some disrepair - as was the pre pool shower - but the actual pool was very nice
Access to the room was treacherous - up a rickety ladder (cannot be described as a staircase) which was rotten in parts
Bathroom was not 4 star - small shower head - disabled stool in shower (although no one with mobility issues could have made it up to that room!) - shower curtain dirty and ineffective, flooded bathroom. Not enough towels
Room was full of furniture and lamps - but they were a mix and match and did not form part of an interior design theme - and were very dusty - lots of creepy crawlies in room as a result - room smelt fusty
No kettle in room, no tea or coffee making facilities
No water - had to ask for a bottle of water - in heatwave and was charged €4 - did not brave breakfast!
Terrace outside room was dusty and uninhabitable
Generally the rooms and gardens were not well maintained throughout - it wasn't like some bits were well looked after and some were less so - It was all very unloved, the hotel has not been invested in for some time - both in effort or money
