Good hotel and the best meal of the trip

Probably the best meal of my trip was at the restaurant here. I didn't fancy carbs that evening, so the waitress arranged for my venison to be served with the various vegetables that the kitchen was cooking that evening. Having had a late lunch, I wasn't sure how much appetite I would have, but I cleared the plate. The venison was cooked excellently - the knife slid through it and I really enjoyed all the vegetables - thank you! Served with an excellent Albarone. I was lucky enough to get an upgrade on my room from single to double, which was much appreciated. The hotel is well placed for both bus and train.

Sauna and snow-shoe view

The sunset view from the Mountain View Sauna was amazing 👌 We were very happy about the free snow-shoe rental, there is a wonderful loop right next to the hotel. 🤩 The restaurant at the hotel was also very good.

Our room was very close to the train tracks which was quite loud until late in the evening and early morning.

Very nice hotel next to Davos with good connections to public transportation & hiking destinations.

Good selection for breakfast, nice team in the hotel. There is a small playground outside which can be attractive for families with small children. Clean rooms. Despite being next to a busy road we weren't bothered by the noise of the traffic.

We found parking place only on the another side of road, crossing the street is not always easy as there are no lamps around which would stop the traffic.

Superb

Nice, clean, comfortable (beds and pillows were good), had a common area and restaurant downstairs. Sauna area had a great mountain view. Great location outside of the city but next to the train and bus stops. Staff was doing their best to comfort us. Food was good.

Room for improvement is to find a solution to have a menu for dinner - we were told at check-in that it must be ordered in the morning, which you cannot do because the check-in is in the afternoon - kind of a disadvantage if you stay just one night :)
