Petit séjour agréable à Suva

personnel très sympathique et très disponible. Belle chambre et très propre. Petit déjeuner varié et délicieux comme les cocktails et le restaurant le soir. bon emplacement dans Suva car on a fait tout à pied

j'aurais aimé un lit plus grand (180) et un matelas peut-être un peu plus ferme. Mais nous avons quand même très bien dormi. Et je rêve d'avoir des toilettes séparés de la douche

Thoroughly enjoyed our short visit, it's my first time at Holiday Inn. Excellent team work (staff)

Location is very convenient and breakfast was so well prepared, excellent service.

Convenient Clean and Cheery

I lived in the Suva area for over 10 years and frequently ate lunch at the Holiday Inn during the week as our office was less than a block away. I had not been back to Suva for several years but had to make a last-minute trip there to attend to some business. I thought about booking the Grand Pacific which sat vacant for many years during our residency in Fiji, but decided the Holiday was slightly more convenient and am happy I stayed there. The staff was professional, helpful, and Fijian happy; the room was updated, clean, and spacious; and the food was good, with the breakfast buffet (omelets made to order and a self-serve cappuccino machine was much appreciated) better than I remembered. All in all, the HI exceeded my expectations, and I would recommend it for business travelers to Suva.

Suva is Suva and the rainy weather can take its toll on buildings and sometimes commercial properties suffer from a slightly damp smell, but the Holiday Inn was well maintained and the public areas as well as the sleeping rooms (including the bedding), were fresh and clean smelling. It was raining buckets during my brief stay, and they had a leak in the lobby ceiling which was attended to almost immediately. The service on the outdoor patio could have been better, but the hotel had a large group staying there so some patience was required, but it did not bother me too much. The coffee and pastry kiosk in the lobby was a nice addition.

Prize was to high and I had to ask to give the room I actually paid for view room and then we were given but I was disappointed in that as quite waste of time if you book for a night can’t do much if you running after all that .Thank u

Excellent although pricey hotel

This is a high quality business and pleasure hotel located centrally in Suva and an ideal base for the discerning traveler. The food is high quality, the staff very friendly, the Internet fast, and the beds comfortable - there's a lot to like. The breakfast buffet was the first that I've struck in the region that starts to approach other parts of the world for quality and variety.

All this quality comes at a price, which expensive and much more than I would usually pay for a business trip, but there were few other options. My other quibble is around the room setup at night. The hotel maintains bright floodlights to light the outside in the area between the accommodation wing and the canal, and anybody can access that area. This makes it impossible to sleep with the blinds open or air flowing through, for privacy and security reasons, meaning that the air conditioning was required even in winter. There is no ceiling fan for an alternative source of airflow.

overall the stay was good.

Breakfast was not included in my booking even though I requested by email. Property told me 42 dollars head so I opted not to eat at the Hotel.

1 room was not ready till 5pm and family had to split btw 2 wings.

Excellent staff in control of a wonderful hotel making for a wonderful 2 night stay.

Breakfast was excellent, well prepared, good variety. The outdoor dining, undercover and by the pool meant for a wonderful experience. The live band was excellent. Food options perfect. Staff very friendly from the start to finish.

Surcharge for paying by Credit Card, when it's partner hotel next door did not charge.
