Enjoyed our stay - room just need a little tlc

Perfect place to stay in Ypres. Will be booking to stay here again.

This is the second time staying here and it didn’t disappoint. Nice clean room, very helpful and friendly staff, lovely breakfast and perfect location.

Nothing to not like about this hotel.

Parkeren (van de auto) is een behoorlijk probleem, daarnaast kon de kamerdeur (van binnenuit) niet op slot en er was geen (nacht)lampje in de buurt van het bed.

Very close to amenities, especially the amazing Captain Cook restaurant.

Cleanliness, comfort, central position and outstanding breakfast.

Ann excellent place to stay!

2nd stay and will stay again. Perfect central location, comfortable room and pretty good breakfast. As someone mentioned, free parking in Gilderen St, second right after going through the Menin Gate - not so easy atm with one way at the Gate. You need a satnav.

The hotel suited my needs perfectly, a place to stay while I visited the region. Very clean, extremely friendly, very well located for the centre of ypres.

Had a great time exploring history and location gave my adult children evening independence.

Location was amazing, breakfast was good, older hotel but fit all our needs and location at center of everything. Staff very friendly and helpfull

Great location in the centre of ypres. Good breakfast. Excellent value for money.

If travelling by car, parking is local public parking.

A great place to stay that is very convenient to all things in town.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. The host very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic & provided great choices.

I would have liked tea & coffee facilities in the room. Also the towels could do with being renewed but this didn’t detract from the property.

Bikers review of Hotel O Leper

Fantastic location opposite the main square of Ypres. Had a room on the 3rd floor which requires 2 separate lifts to get to. Room was extremely spacious & clean with a lovely view from the window of the Flanders field museum/main square where we parked our motorbikes free of charge. (No parking overnight on a Friday due to Saturday market, you'll be towed away) Good continental breakfast served till 10am.

Practically Perfect in every way!

This hotel is fantastic! Everything about it is perfect. Everything! Powerful shower, big room, incredible giant bed, fridge, coffee and a wonderful breakfast. The staff are also absolutely wonderful, helpful and kind. I’ll go back every year now. Hooked!

There is absolutely nothing to dislike! Oh, apart from the Pizza shop staff next door, smoking dope at night, and it wafts in with you when you go in the front door. They’re ok though, not a threat.

location good but many points to consider

OK Location is very central and the lady was friendly

i know its cheap but my small room had zero character not even a picture on the wall ! my bed was hard and only one awful pillow. The shower head was broken off the wall, no soap. Wifi is useless I couldn’t watch my ipad.

Excellent location, very helpful staff big room with 3 single beds.

The location was perfect. Just off the main square overlooking the Flanders Fields museum.

The room was a little cold when we arrived. It took some time for it to warm up when we turned on the heater.

You can't beat this location. (We used to live in Ieper and love this town, even tho it is growing and not the same 50+ years later. We were shocked to see the huge. ugly digital billboard on the side of the Cloth Hall right across from our room!! Certainly not in keeping with the historical look of the town!! This, of course is not the fault of the hotel and will hopefully be gone soon!) The breakfast was really good!

Unfortunately, we were moved ("upgraded" from the O hotel to the Regina, so this is a review for the Regina, NOT THE O HOTEL!!)

Superb

Large comfortable bed, great shower.

Shower curtain was mouldy, bathroom floor in poor condition. The room was a decent size, but very tired.
