The property offers a perfect getaway for families, close to a private beach with gorgeous views. Comfortable and well-equipped house, highly recommended for a relaxing vacation.

The house was nicely furnished, well equipped, comfortable a perfectly clean. But we paid more than $800.00 a night for three nights, and nothing Justin’s that price.
The owner was pleasant, readily accessible and helpful.
The advertising promised a 7-minute walk to a beach, but the reality must be closer to 15-Minutes. We never did find the path to the beach.

Another great stay at this wonderful property — looking forward to next year already.

This is a wonderful location in Truro. The house was clean and has plenty of space in the three rooms. However, you need to bring EVERYTHING
We were informed we had to bring our own bath and beach towels. Okay no problem.
But we also should have brought; shampoo/body wash, laundry detergent… and it you want to use the kitchen or grill you would need to bring any and all pantry items you can think of; oil, salt/pepper, aluminum foil, etc etc. The kitchen is not stocked at all. I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and never have we encounter a more sparse kitchen set up than this one. Also, never had a house that had washer/dryer but no detergent or dryer sheets.
Good price for the house, just beware you need to really think about what you need, or be prepared to go out and buy things you already have at home.

My new favorite place! And Ariel is wonderful to deal with!

Perfect getaway in a private, comfortable house, with a set up great for younger and older kids. Walk to the private beach was gorgeous and the beach itself was breathtaking. Check-in/out was uncomplicated and quick. Highly recommend!

This is a very comfortable, well-equipped house in a great location, walking distance to a great bay beach. Highly recommended.

My nephew, his wife and 4 kids all loved the house. It was large, open and airy. My nephew's wife loved the outdoor shower, hammock and general outdoor setting.
The bedrooms were huge and very comfortable. The kitchen was well outfitted and the washer/dryer were very convenient for loads of laundry for the kids clothes.
It was in a convenient location and close to our house in Provincetown.
The only small complaint from one of the kids was the slow internet.

We loved the house plenty of room for all of us.

This was our first time renting in N. Truro, as it is closer to Provincetown. The house is on a quiet street, surrounded by oak and pine trees. Down the road is the path to the bay where we walked every day. We found our 3 rooms to be comfortable and cozy. The house is solid so when moving around we didn't disturb each other. We enjoyed the kitchen and dining area and the great access to our favorite movie sites on the TV. The house invites guests to be casual and comfortable. The sofa is huge and fine for 3 adults. There is an excellent library available. We would love to rent again.

We had a great time at Ariel's beautiful private property. Ariel left very clear instructions which helped us get settled in quickly. The property is close to Provincetown yet is still in a private setting. My family and I enjoyed the short walk to the private beach. We highly recommend this property!

Family vacation at mermaid digs in N Truro
It was a great place for our family vacation on the Cape. The private beach was a relatively easy walk and the access to the highway to go to the ocean Beach was close by and the drive to P-town was only about 15 minutes. We all loved the house and enjoyed the outdoor seating and the hammock was a nice touch too.

Quiet and Cozy
On a quiet road the beach is a short walk, which we took in a light rain and never got wet, the coverage of trees and the sound of the rain on them so soothing. You do have to walk down quite a few steps to the beach but it is lovely. The house immediately felt like home, spacious and well equipped. I usually have issues with beds but they are very comfortable. The fireplace definitely a plus since we had a few chilly nights. Any questions I had Ariel answered promptly. Nice winery/distillery Truro Vineyards and Montano’s Restaurant are both close by the food at Montano’s was excellent. P-Town is about 10 minutes away a good location on the Cape. Highly recommended for a relaxing time.

True Haven
Lovely spot, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds and big comfy couch to hang out on, well stocked kitchen and wagon to take down to the beach. We enjoyed spending time in the yard as well. The private bay beach, a short walk from the house is an amazing beach with great swimming! We miss it already...Ariel was a wonderful host and very responsive.

A fun beach getaway
Our family of 8, grandparents included, spent 3 wonderful days at Ariel's place. Ariel was quick in responding to my inquiries and very accommodating. The house was very clean and very close to the private beach. Nice decorations throughout the house with book shelves full of great books. Kitchen was well stock with plates, cups, pots, utensils etc. Rooms were spacious and king bed very comfortable. It was nice having the outdoor shower and laundry machine. We also got to enjoy the outdoor area for a nice bbq lunch. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Ariel.

We actually relaxed!
This house was exactly what we needed and more! It was our first real vacation since Covid and we always have a little bit of anxiety about house rentals since we have had some that have missed the mark in the past. Our expectations were surpassed for sure. The space was much bigger than expected, so we had ample rooms to relax and not feel like the kids were taking over the space. The beach access was perfect for the days that we just didn’t feel like planning anything. Would definitely stay again!

Mermaid Diggs
Had a great week at this Truro home . Mermaid Diggs was immaculate and a lovely yard with hydrangeas in bloom! A small glitch but Ariel took care of it right away. The beach is beautiful and my grandchildren and I enjoyed the walk to the beach ! The living room is bigger than it looks in the pictures , plenty of room for all 8 of us. Great week!

Mermaid Digs at Tru Haven beach
We have had a wonderful week in North Truro, staying at Mermaid Digs. Just a .3 mile walk to the wonderful private beach started every day with a perfect swim. Truro beach sticker is worth to get, so you can get access to the most beautiful ocean beaches on the Cape. LongNook is our favourite. The house and the garden are perfect setting for a bucolic vacation once away from the beach.
Ariel cares about her property very much.

Relaxing weekend
We had a great girls weekend away. The house was perfect; inviting and felt like home! The location is awesome, a short drive to P-town, winery, restaurants, etc. The private beach was so relaxing. Not a lot of people, and the few we met, were very friendly and nice. We are talking about making this an annual trip! Thank you!

Perfect house for relaxing getaway
We really enjoyed our trip to Cape Cod! The house was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We were there in the off-season and rarely saw another person on the bay side beach. It was a short drive to Wellfleet or Provincetown.
Beautiful sunsets and fresh seafood cooked on the grill - doesn’t get much better than that!

Family trip with 5 adults, 2 new babies: 4-month-old and 6-month old
Having a gorgeous beach that we could walk to made it an easy and enjoyable trip for the little girls--and therefore the rest of us! Having the wagon in the garage for bringing stuff to the beach was a big help. We didn't go to any other beach during our week. The water was warm on the bay side--perfect introduction to 'swimming' and the adults loved it too. Appreciated that if we were in different rooms we didn't overhear each other, and that the common spaces were comfortable for enjoying being together. As can be expected, there were a few things we could have used--no serving spoons in the otherwise fairly well-stocked kitchen, and 2 of the beach chairs were ready for replacements, but overall our stay was terrific. The space was very comfortable. Great to have a dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. And we loved the outdoor shower!

Spacious, airy, sunny and immaculate......
We had a lovely stay at this property July 14-21, 2018. This home is tucked away off a dirt road. The house is spacious and the windows and doors provided a refreshing cross breeze. We woke to a bright sunny kitchen each morning. Our first steps into the house were greeted by a clean, fresh smell. The accommodations were comfortable. We usually bring our own linens, but the linens on the beds were smooth, silky and inviting. The house is a 5 to 10 minute walk to a private sound beach where the water is warm, and the sunset views over Provincetown, breathtaking. We obtained the visitor beach pass from the town beach office right up the road for $50.00 which gained us access to all Truro beaches for the week. We tried them all, though Long Neck has a steep bluff that must be climbed when exiting the beach, quite a workout! The house is located just 1 mile from the Truro Vineyards. The yard at the Hollow was a relaxing place to indulge in our favorite wines after the tastings. There is an organic farm stand down the road access to the Coast Guard Beach. There are also two markets close to the house to grab fresh essentials, however the Stop and Shop is about a 10 minute drive to the outskirts of P-town, and easily accessible. The picket fenced yard at the house provided a quiet early morning coffee refuge. The outdoor shower is the only way to shower after a day at the beach. We were blessed with pristine weather, but if it had rained, we were a short drive from Provincetown where we would be able to stroll the many shops and restaurants. We would certainly rent this house again, and recommend it to families especially.....

Wonderful vacation spot in Cape Cod
We and another family spent a relaxing week at Ariel's place. The house was spacious, with a well equipped kitchen and a large back yard.
Plenty of beautiful beaches near by, and conveniently located between Provincetown and Wellfleet.
Ariel was very responsive when we communicated. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay!
What a lovely time we spent in Ariel's house! Spotlessly clean, so very spacious, comfortably furnished with lovely decorating, great books to peruse, large living room television especially good for the sports enthusiasts who were among us, and a great location in Truro. When the weather threatened to turn against us, we thought we might need to spend more time in the house than outdoors, but I found that I actually looked forward to that since the house is so comfortable. Ariel was extremely responsive, helpful with very clear directions and recommendations, and a pleasure to correspond with. Together with our adult children, we all enjoyed every moment we spent in this house. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Great stay!
The house was just like the pictures! Everything was great, I think my two lessons learned were, bring one of my own pillows and don't forget hand towels for the bathrooms and kitchen. Other than that everything was spot on! Thanks for a great weekend!

Two Wonderful Weeks
Despite the very cool days, they were mostly beautiful days. Mornings we could take the 10 min. walk to the end of the street and down to the bay. Beautiful - great for long walks. The house was immaculate, simply & tastefully appointed. We are open ocean lovers as we love to ride the waves. Head of The Meadow on the National Seashore is a five minute drive from the house. If you are of an age you can buy a life long pass For all the National Parks or fill out the Beach pass for Truro provided at the house for the town beach adjacent the public beach. We have vacationed for many years in Truro as we love to go into Provincetown for great restaurants, galleries and shopping - a 10 min. drive. Truro Vineyards is a great stop and has expanded over the years - just down the road. We also love Welfleet which is about 20 min drive - again with great restaurants, galleries, shopping. We have numerous times attended The WHAT - live theater in Welfleet. Always enjoyable. In Welfleet as well is the Audubon Sanctuary - wonderful walking trails out to the ocean and a very interesting museum. We love to come back to Truro after the hustle & bustle of Provincetown or Welfleet as it is Quintessential Cape Cod and so peaceful. The house is ideally located, spacious, nice back yard.

Terrific Cape Rental!
We love the National Seashore and this home is in the perfect location to explore all of the beaches easily. The home is much more spacious than the pictures indicate. The home was tastefully decorated but not cluttered. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. The yard was nice to relax in after a day at the beach. While there were houses near by, it really felt like you had lots of privacy given that it was set back in a beautiful wooded area. The private beach on the bay side was a short walk and never crowded. Would have loved to have stayed longer!

A hidden Gem.
Best location on the Cape, close to everything and still tucked away on a quite private street. Easy walk to the Bay Side for great sunsets. My family and I will be back for sure.
