The history and the grounds were lovely
We were on the top floor and the steps were winding and steep

Truly delightful. The owners have done a magnificent job restoring the abbey whilst being respectful of its original owners and purpose
Nothing. It was just such a wonderful experience

Wonderful atmosphere in this restored building
No EV charger yet. A few inexpensive single-phase units are required on site. Pay for use is OK. A fast charger is available in town, but it is crowded and required waiting.

Beautifully restored and maintained convent building. Superb hosts and friendly staff. Restaurant meals were delicious and substantial. Breakfast offerings were plentiful and delicious. Room had air conditioning for winter warmth.
Some rooms do not have ensuite bathrooms but a private bathroom down the hall. Heating in the restaurant breakfast room could be improved as it was chilly.

Gorgeous place with a rich history. Stunning rooms. And the architecture of the building itself is to due for.
The bed was a little uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful time at Abbey Boutique, there is so much care and love in every single detail. We enjoyed wandering around the building to learn its history and took beautiful pictures. The bedroom was comfy and pretty. Delicious dinner with drinks on the lounge. Lovely stuff. chocolates at the door in the morning. All very special.

A beautifully maintained hotel with that old world ambience. It felt like we were staying in Downtown Abbey and should be wearing tails to breakfast. The rooms are spacious and feature modern touches like air-conditioning and a fridge, juxtaposed against wooden cabinets and beds.
The ultra thin toilet paper reminded me of my days working in government offices but trust me, it's a small price to pay for staying in such a lovely place. My advice, throw a roll of Quilton in your bag and book a room. You won't regret it.

It is a little out of the way but worth it for the quality of the hotel. It's a piece of local history beautifully restored. I stayed in a loft with ensuite and it was great. Spacious, spotless and a/c that kept up with the blistering temperatures. The staff were very friendly and helpful and parking was a breeze.

Size of room, easy to bathroom coffee machine, veranda ,private space overlooking gardens
Costly, very costly options very limited around either really small or discontected distant bathroom in a really tiny room ,my suggestion, increase the room sizes of the cheaper rooms add more rose bushes to the outside

I love the huge bathroom's and the beds were super comfortable. I loved sitting out on the back verandah and having cheese and wine then going downstairs later for dinner. Very olde world charm with so much on offer . I can't wait to go again!
Nothing. It was a fabulous experience!
