Gutes- Preisleistungsverhältnis

Personal war freundlich. Unser Frühstück bekamen wir im nahegelegenen Hotel, da anscheinend nicht genug Gäste im Gasthaus waren. Dieses war eher einfach und mit wenig Auswahl, es gab Ei, Obst und Toast. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber, bequeme Matratze. Wer keinen Luxus erwartet ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Très apprécié

Personnels très gentils et serviables. Une employée est allée chercher nos billets de train pour nous à la gare, très bon service. Chambre propre et établissent bien situé.

Gute Preis-Leistung mit vielen Service-Angeboten

Sehr gute Lage. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sauber. Frühstück klein, aber okay. Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr bemüht und freundlich. Es werden viele Service-Leistungen angeboten. Wir konnten sehr unkompliziert ein Moped mieten. Wäsche-Service war leider nur teilweise gut (weiße Wäsche können wir nicht nutzen).

Die Möbel sind schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Wenn wir die Lüftung angemacht haben, roch es im Zimmer unangenehm.

Clean, spacious room. HOT water for the shower!! Fridge & safe in the room (good for water sports days) FANTASTIC breakfast. Helpful guy running the place.

A bit noisy in the evening but it's v central. Swings & roundabouts!!

Good accommodation with friendly hosts: Really an 11 out of 10

Very friendly hosts, clean accommodation and a nice big spacious room with a minibar. The location is central and everything is within walking distance. Breakfast is also available at the accommodation. There was a power outage throughout the city and we ran out of cash. We couldn't hand anything in either. The host was so kind and lent us 100,000 kip. Thanks again for the great accommodation.

The room was huge & bright and airy, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was tasty with good options. The family who run the guesthouse were so kind & helpful, they helped us with laundry and gave us advice for onward travel and overall we’re lovely people.

We loved everything - such good value for money considering the price, you really get bang for your buck.

We stayed here before and the second time still liked it very much! The owner and his family are so friendly, the breakfast every morning is very well with lots of fresh fruits and free juice/coffee. Water refill provided and very well equipped, spacious and bright room.

The wifi is sometimes a bit weak on the first floor.

Great value for money

Location was very good. Staff were really friendly and helped us with onward travel. The rooms were really spacious and cleaned daily with two bottles of water put in your room everyday, which is a lovely touch.

Breakfast options aren’t great, it’s just different eggs with the same bread. We did have an issue with our aircon but they switched our rooms out so it was fine.

Lovely family run Guesthouse

A lovely Guesthouse in an excellent location. Walking distance to everything. We had a room on the top floor so also had a view from our windows. The family who run it are fantastic and incredibly helpful especially when booking tours and train tickets.

Super kind and reliable owners, tasty breakfast prepared in 5 minutes. Laundry service was also fast (returned washed in 10 hours). Good location.

Sometimes a bit noisy surroundings from the nearby bars (not an issue caused by the guesthouse, of course) - this problem only lasts until midnight.

Basic breakfast Single glazed windows, so you hear noise from the bars nearby. The blinds are very thin so might wake up at first light

Good value for money

The owner is very friendly, flexible and accommodating. Helps to arrange for tours and transport. He even exchanges currency with me at a fair rate.

Breakfast could have been better, but at this price, there is no complains.

The location was great, the room where spotless, they cleaned the rooms daily and changed the towels. Breakfast was cooked to order, many choices of egg. Also helped us booked train tickets and tours. Very friendly and also there if you needed anything!

Nice, big, clean rooms! Very comfortable beds. New towels everyday and you get cleaning also if you want everyday. Good wifi. Nice breakfast including; eggs, bread, fresh fruits, coffee/tea, juice/smoothie. Location is good, near restaurant and bars. You can hear a music from bars but they stop at midnight. Didn't bother us. Owners were super friendly and helpful with everything. They booked us train tickets very fast. Also possible to book lots of day trips from hotel. Laundry service. We liked our staying a lot!

We had a good stay at Maylay.

It was a large room with clean bathroom. Good location in the middle of the center. There was also good wifi. Owner speaks some english, which is helpful. He could also arrange a bus to Vientiane for us.

Shower was not really nice, water strength constantly changed, but was not a big issue for us. It was also not possible to arrange motorbikes via the hotel. We saved 100,000 kip by arranging our bus ticket from Ventiane to Thakhek ourselves.

Very good

Family running this guesthouse are great. Helped us book day trips and onward travel, as well as doing laundry for us. They also provide free breakfast every morning. The room was a really good size and bed was comfortable. Couldn't ask for much more at the price paid.

Friendly staff that helped us out with all our requests and let us check out an hour later than check out time. Breakfast was delicious, selection of fruit with your choice of eggs. Laundry service was great, best we have had so far! Good location, walking distance to all restaurants and bars

Great hosts, sparkling clean and delicious breakfast!

It wasn't in the description, but there is always free breakfast, and it's quite good with lots of fresh fruit, eggs, toast with jam, etc. The hosts are a really nice family, and we felt very welcome! Our room was large and had an amazing view of the mountains!

The tours they had flyers for were a bit more expensive than the same ones from other tour agencies in Vang Vieng
