Nice stay!

I had a private room which was really comfortable and pretty inside. Just a short walk down a track to the beach. The common areas including the kitchen and chill out room have pretty much everything you could want. Agnes Water and Seventeen Seventy are really nice places with a chilled, beach vibe.

It’s a little tired looking in places but it’s a hostel with lots of people passing through so to be expected.

Very happy with our beautiful stay

Beachside 1770 YHA Was wonderful We enjoyed our stay with our 2 pug puppies Everything was well maintained and spotless The bedroom that we stay in was clean & tidy it’s had been freshly painted . The bed was super comfy. The staff were super helpful and very polite. I couldn’t get over how peaceful and quiet our stay was .🙏 The beach was very close walk next door down the pathway. The coffee van 🚐 was the icing on the cake Highly recommend 💖

Very friendly staff. The outside area is amazing and very spacious. The dorm was clean.

There was a private bathroom for the dorm. It was okay but needs a good deep clean. There where a lot of insects on the floor and spiders and spider webs on the ceiling.

Good stay for a low price

Leave baggage or late check out was no problem.

No shuttle to the greyhound bus, it would be nice if the bus comes so late in the evening and you have to walk it (some party of the street were really dark) alone as a women

Clean and Comfy YHA

Facilities were well maintained; clean room, hot showers, it was quiet, had great air-conditioning, dining area was nice with a relaxed feel, Here 'n' There Espresso van had lovely coffee.

Curtains allowed too much light into the room at night.

The staff was very kind and helpfull, they made us feel welcome. The room was nice and clean and cooled down when we arrived. The commen area was good, and had both indoor and outdoor.

The kitchen was an outdoor kitchen, which was nice, but also mad it less sanitary.

Wouldn’t go back

room was not well cleaned, there was an used soap in the toilet, cigarette rolling paper on the floor and the linen was itchy. Staff didn’t receive us well, even though she apologised later because she was busy.

Clean and basic- exactly what expected for youth hostel.

Price and pet friendly- allowing pet inside. So many say pet friendly and they are not at all.

Not being able to check in old fashioned way and pay in person, would of liked to use different card but didn’t get to speak to anyone. Acknowledge the nice note & with key & the chilled way but a greeting ( during daytime hrs option -maybe note saying ph when arrive? ) would be nice.

Not far from the beach and the common area are pretty great.

There was never anyone at the reception, the staff is not very friendly, the rooms are only cleaned on certain days of the week randomly and the beds are very uncomfortable.

Relaxed, chilled out vibe Fast and unlimited wi-fi Great social areas and large, well equipped kitchen DIY breakfast of toast and spreads was appreciated as was the free tea and coffee Owner/manager was really enthusiastic and cared about his guests Not far from the beach Free pool table, book swap

Duty manager, did not make us feel welcome at any time. We appreciate that they were short staffed and so she could have been tired

Basic budget accommodation near the beach

The standard twin room was bigger than in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in Agnes Water, and only 200 m from the beach via walking path. Shared kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and the indoor/outdoor lounge space was nice. There was simple breakfast of toast and spreads provided. Air-conditioning and WiFi worked really well in our room. There is also a laundry and drying machine for an extra fee. Decent basic accommodation for those on a budget.

Cleaning could be improved. Our “white” towels were more gray in color and had some brown stains. Facilities are on the older side.
