The property was in the perfect location. The beachfront was not too busy and did not have too many locals trying to sell you goods. The food from the restaurant was 10/10. Everything I ate was made with love.

The wifi connection was very poor.

Brilliant

I have travelled quite a bit and this hotel stands out for me. Missy at the front desk is such a gem, incredibly helpful and really takes care of the guests, all staff even Caroline was wonderful. Resturant staff were incredible such as Robert, Melvin and Charity. All around the trip was fantastic, the rooms, the beach, organized private yoga sessions, the desk in the room, the view, the spa. The food at the resturant from breakfast until dinner, absolutely brilliant. Thank you and I will be back.

Our room smelled sewage and there was no proper water drainage for the bathroom, the restaurant was clean and the staffs

The photos on the site did not match the property. They looked so new unlike what’s on the ground. They should put current photos or improve the facility. No value for the money we paid No phones in the room.

The staff is their best asset!

The staff was great. Very friendly. Great customer care. Amazing location on Galu Beach. Food was good overall. Size of room was nice!

Overall, the infrastructure was very average. Some areas were nice but I expected better from the reviews and the price. The showers would go hot and cold every time the pump would work. We chose the Family Suite. One room came with AC but without a remote to control the temperature. The hotel offered us a second room as a solution. That was very nice! The first day I requested pancakes and they were stale. I did get fresh ones the following days after requesting for them. The staff were very friendly but the people in charge were not. They sat there without a word the entire time, no attempt to even share the most basic pleasantries with clients.

Staff is great and beach was clean hotel was clean.

Its a bit dated shower and bathroom were nice and spacious but water pressure wasn't nice and pretty sure the sink was saltwater. But over all a nice place for the money I expected it to be a little more modern. But if you like that rustic vibe then this is the place for you.

Nice place right on the beach

Loved the chill vibe of the hotel, comfortable, location, good mattress, etc. Great breakfast. Decent price for beer. Excellent staff, really enjoyed Athman, Melvin and Yvone. Excellent housekeeping.

The water in the shower and sink was out to only our unit for us for almost a full 24 hours, that was difficult (apparently they were working on a lower unit and inadvertently cut ours off). No compensation for it which was unusual. Beer could be colder. Some construction noise. Not enough drinking water provided, and only expensive heavy glass bottles. And smoking. Would be nice to have a non smoking beach chair and restaurant area even if outside. The wind can blow smoke right in your face and there were chain smokers around.

the location is great, the breakfast food is fantastic and fresh. the rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. the beach and ocean is great.

the pool is a bit far behind, but the ocean is great for swimming

whenever i come to diani beach, i stayed here in Blue Marlin beach hotel. this is my third time! The room is very close to the sea. There is no need to walk a lot, restaurants, accommodations, sunbeds, the sea, everything is convenient to access. also room condition is good, so much clean! and the atmosphere is exotic. it’s like a luxury hotel in cave. i love this hotel. for sure, i will come back after 2 months

Our bed was super comfy & loved the location, right on a really quiet part of the beach (no beach boys) and next door to the salty squid! Staff were amazing & super attentive, delicious breakfast! Also helpful to organise activities eg. Snorkelling

Its a bit run down, paint on the outside etc is worn but to be expected when right on the beach with the salt & al the elements.

Great location, amazing staff, will definitely return.

The staff is amazing. Truly made you feel welcome. Hats off to the front desk staff, and Melvin in the restaurant. The room was ideal - great view, plenty of space, and an amazing balcony with direct sea view. Monkeys did put on a show each morning! New pool table, Ideal location on the best part of the entire beach. The freshwater pool in the back was a treat - did not expect that.

Would have loved more hot water in the shower, but the clouds did not allow the solar heating system to win...

Exceptional

The hotel was located in a beautiful part of the Diani beach and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. We had a room with a sea view, the room has huge and beautifully decorated with a truly amazing view and the sound of waves. The breakfast was excellent! The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Very beautiful clean comfortable room, attentive service and excellent food all these right on the best part of Diani/Galu Beach. What else do you need?!

Perfect

The location is perfect, away from all the busy and noisy areas. And it's only 20 mins by tuk tuk to the busy diani Beach. There are many options for breakfast, I stayed two nights. Thank you for the upgrade ❤️❤️❤️

okay but just lacks atmosphere

front desk staff very helpful and friendly.

not muuch of a vibe at all and I sense management don’t bother with details. check the room before booking if you can as my original room was certainly not at all similar in style to the photos. okay I guess but the balcony was just as big as the room but totally unusable . i wouldn’t want to sit out there. an umbrella and a day bed would totally transform that balcony but I sense they can’t be bothered. but they did move me which was appreciated and then accommodated a friend who wanted to stay but did not want that original room that was given to me when i arrived. internet also an issue that I’m sure is an easy fix . again just details.
