Heart-warming stay, feel like home

The facilities are new with very cozy atmosphere, a great place to relax with family. A nice swimming pool, not very big but good enough for kids to play or grab a book and lay in the pool side.

If you come to hotel at night, need to be careful to make sure turn in the right way, it’s quite dark, needs extra attention.

Un lugar con encanto, precioso. Ubicación de 10 cerca de pueblos muy bonitos de Girona y un entorno repleto de naturaleza. Desayuno delicioso con un buen servicio. Personal muy amable.

Todo..ubicación, habitación, terraza, orientación sol, vistas de piscina a la montaña, cama super cómoda, comedor y desayuno super completo, atención perfecta, parking ideal, detalle botella agua.

La calidad de las toallas es media, no hay opción de desayuno más básico si prefieres comer poco, estaría bien ampliar superficie alrededor piscina para poder estar más espaciado en las hamacas, poner hamacas colgantes tipo chill de árbol a árbol para el descanso perfecto con vistas ideales. Mampara fija de un solo cristal, inevitable mojar suelo de baño. Pero estos detalles no hacen menos especial el lugar. Se respira paz y buena vibra, y es una estancia de 9,5

Tranquilitat, molt bon tracte i bon menjar

El personal, molt atent. Bon restaurant i molt bon esmorzar. Molta tranquil·litat, envoltat de camps i a prop de Besalú. Rutes a peu des del Mas mateix.

Habitació una mica petita però bufona i comfortable. El WC està separat de l'habitació per una mampara, potser seria millor una paret amb una porta normal.

Lovely hotel in the countryside

I liked the location, it was out of the center of the city, to be specific 5 minutes in car from Besalú bridge. That's was exactly what we wanted a placed sorrounded by nature. But closed to the cities we were visiting those days. Great breakfast, too Mediterranean but that's not bad if you are European.

The first night I noticed too much pet hair in the room, the floor and the bed. The next morning I let the owner know about it, and they changed the sheets.

Increible y 100% recomendada.

El alojamiento está ubicado en una zona ideal, pueblo tranquilo cercano a Besalú y Olot. Nosotras fuimos con perro y nos dieron un trato excelente. Las instalaciones por fuera parecen antiguas, como una tipica masia, pero por dentro estan reformadas y son chulisimas. De hecho cuando fuimos estaban construyendo al lado más habitaciones!! Recomiendo hospedarse aqui, si tengo oportunidad, volveré.

Lo único que puedo dar como malo son los precios del desayuno... Me parece un precio excesivo para lo que ofrecen, que no está mal, pero sale mas a cuento desayunar fuera.

Very friendly service and amazing breakfast. The rooms were pristine clean. The team at Mas Pere Pau make you feel like home. It's located in a quiet location 7min away from Besalu by car, perfect for a long weekend.

Fabulous place with a great atmosphere in peaceful rural surroundings.

Lovely room for a family of 3 with a doggie who was able to run around the garden area of this beautifully restored Catalan Masia - he absolutely loved it. The staff were fantastic - our room was cleaned and tidied every day, towels were hung up to dry on a rack and a dog bed was provided for our puppy which we didn't even ask for. We were supplied with a large fresh bottle of water every day and, although the restaurant wasn't open during the days we were staying there (it only opens on Friday and Saturday in the Winter), they offer a lovely menu to guests which changes daily and you can order your evening meal by midday that day. The food was also great - traditional Catalan meals - comforting hearty food (although could do with some extra veggies). We really enjoyed our stay - thank you.

The only thing I would suggest is some green veggies with the main meals or at least a salad option on the menu. I love Catalan and Spanish food but it can get a little bread and meat heavy after a few days.

it was comfortable and cozy and everything we needed.

we loved the experience we got here! it was like being greeted by a friend. we are from a large city and never get to see the stars but at Mas Pere Pau we sat on our patio and got the most amazing view of them. everything was comfortable and quaint and they had everything we asked for (including wine glasses and an opener!) would recommend this location to anyone jn a heartbeat.

this was a very very minor personal peeve I had, but I felt like there was some mold in the bathroom shower area around the floor tiles and the ventilation was sub par and left everything a bit damp for a good while. we were able to remedy this by opening the door and letting the air flows.

We travelled with a dog and the staff were really accommodating and although the location was isolated the collection of dog owners meant that there was a real friendly feel.

you had to opt into a meal early in the morning which once you got used to the idea was fine as the vibe of the place was great. It did feel little restrictive choosing evening meal at breakfast

Fabulous location in an idyllic setting. Warm, friendly staff. Couldn't do enough for us without being intrusive. The restaurant is fantastic value for money with superb food.
