You're at driving distance from beaches to the sea and the lake. Secluded place, a bit 'gated community'. I forgot to up a car window one night without consequence. Istres has a huge supermarket ('Geant'), a good Burger King and pizza truck, a lovely Moroccan restaurant, weekly fireworks and probably much much more. Whole premises of 30+ apartments run by a family who really thought things over.
It can get hot over there in the summer - check the forecast and buy sunscreen in bulk. There is no walking distance beach, and no breakfast option either if those are your things.

We (family of 4) spent 7 nights in this accommodation and had a lovely time.
The apartment was spacious and super clean, the swimming pool and all surrounding areas were cleaned every day. It was not too busy which we loved. The lake view was amazing too.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
We didn’t mind this but if you want to get to a lovely sandy beach or to a bigger town you will need to drive about 15km so having a car is a plus.
