Prima faciliteiten, maar een aantal belangrijke minpunten

Ruime mooie kamer

Personeel zeer onvriendelijk. In het restaurant wordt er voor je gevoel constant op je gelet. Airco in de kamer is zwaar tegengevallen.

Porażka.

Właściwie nic mi się tutaj nie podobało. Bardzo przeciętny obiekt, nawet jak na rumuńskie standardy. Trudno trafić, albowiem nawigacja przyprowadza w inne miejsce, na zapleczu hotelu.

Śniadania bardzo skromne i monotematyczne. Chleb czerstwy, ekspres do kawy wkurzający. Na urozmaicenie jadłospisu w kolejnych dniach nie ma co liczyć. Obiekt miał posiadać basen, ale po przyjeździe na miejsce okazało się, że jest on nieczynny (tu widzę też winę Bookingu, albowiem gdybym przed rezerwacją i płatnością wiedział, że basen jest nieczynny - nie wybrałbym tego obiektu!)

Great place to stay

Great SPA section with unusual long opening time. Staff also wery friendly and helpfull. Good Restaurant but a Pizzeria and a Penny Market just 2 minutes walk away

As Hungarian guest I missed Hungarian TV channels (only 1 out of 770 channels) mostly knowing that Hungary is in the neighborhood and therefore expected to have gusts from there as Hungarian ethnics from Romania as well

A lovely relaxing stay at Hotel Leon & Spa

The hotel was very clean and modern. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The bed was very comfortable. The location was great for us as I was visiting the nearby Medlife hospital for a procedure. Not too far from the centre of town if you are happy to have a walk. There is a cycle path that takes you directly into town. We had a couple of meals in the restaurant. The food was great and the lady in the restaurant was really friendly. They even sieved my soup for me after my procedure. Nothing is too much trouble.

We had no complaints at all.

One of the best spa hotels in this part of Romania

This was my second time staying in Leon, after the first one in 2016. I again loved everything. The reception recognized that I stayed there already which was nice. After so many years, the hotel kept everything in the same good shape. The rooms are comfortable and clean, bathroom as well. The bathroom amenities include iconic Rituals shampoo and shower gel that was nice. My room had a small balcony, that was also nice. Breakfast was tasty, fresh and the food quality was as expected from 4* hotel. The coffee was great. The wellness and spa area is something that goes above expectations, especially the jacuzzi. All the staff is very kind and they all have my compliments. Hotel has its own parking. The hotel was nicely decorated for holiday, adding a special Christmas feeling. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Rooms are very hot at night. No kettle in the standard double room. The selection of local beers in the restaurant/by the pool should be improved.

Very good

The room was very clean and the staff from the restaurant very friendly and helpful.

We have been told that the breakfast will start at 07:00 but the receptionist did not say that they have a different hour for the week-end .

Ok for transit

Breakfast was amazing, food in the restaurant really good, easy access by car. Jacuzzi and Sauna were very pleasant.

The sheets were very rough and not comfortable. Although they were washed, the pillow and the duvet weren’t, so they still smelled. Pool had non shallow end and it smelled extremely like Chlorine.

This was an insulte. in a normal country they should get penalty and their licence revoked by authorities.

wet carpet in the room. strong smell of chemicals in the room. windows without phonic insulation. we heard all night the drunk noisy people smoking outside. there was a party in the restaurant which was supposed to end bu 22:00. but instead we heard loud music till 2:30 in the night. they served us re-heated grill and salad already containing vinegar and oil probably from the organised party undergoing menu. bad wine from the same party. water glasses were smelling like non-higienic dish washing machine.

It was cosy and clean

The restaurant was closed, the “spa” only means pool and jacuzzi (the sauna was out of order and you cannot get any massage on the premises), the staff was misleading - I asked if the indoor pool area was crowded (just to make conversation, i already knew it was not because i had noticed that from outside the building) and the answer was “yes”… Wait, what? What was the purpose of such answer?
