Tout sauf le petit déjeuner
Le petit déjeuner n'est pas copieux par rapport à ce qui est proposé pour le même prix; avec en plus des œufs brouillés, œufs durs ou à la coque, plus large choix de charcuteries et de fromages.

The room has a kitchenette, comfortable, with an AC, good location.
No cleaning is included, and would cost extra ( so no clean floors, towels or bedsheets during the week)

Breakfast was top notch
150 euro deposit ( should inform guest in advance, on booking!
Guest must clean after themselves or charged, complete nonsense, noone informs you about this.
Loud street.

Me and my sister stayed in this hotel for 7 days in May. Marseille is very beautiful city and there is a lot of things you can see within the city limits as well as in the neighboring area. Cassis, Aix en Provence, îles du Frioul and many other places. But unfortunately, our staying was spoiled by our hotel. Why is that? There are several reasons to this.
It is rather far from the centre and you will need use public transport to get to all places. Rooms are quite comfortable but a lot of stuff is not in working condition (we had problems with TV, hairdryer, we only used microwave which luckily functioned, but other stuff we didn’t have chance to check). In fact we were afraid to use any of the stuff since hotel demands 150 eur as deposit and since some of the stuff didn’t work when we checked in to the room, we decided to declare that we were not going to use anything so we would not then be blamed for its damage and be deprived of 150 eur.
We also encountered the absolute unfriendliness and aggression from the hotel staff. They demand the card to take this 150 eur when you check in. The room was paid with my card and since my sister arrived 1 day before me, we specifically wrote 1 month prior to asked them not to cause any troubles for my sister and let her check in without the card. We received the OK from the staff. What do you think happened at the reception desk? They even threatened!!! my sister to throw her on the street only because they can’t have their precious 150 eur (room was already paid and we have absolute right to use it!!). After the big scandal and my sister tears they condescended to take cash for 1 night till my arrival.
And the final issue is that after 3 weeks from the check out I still didn’t get this 150 eur back on my card!! As fas as we found out, money been stuck in the banking system with no information of their actual status. We applied to the hotel, asked them to fill in the request from their side to their bank or maybe VISA payment system, but the staff washed hands and refuses to recognize their incompetence and take responsibility for the fact that probably they did some wrong manipulations with the terminal and this resulted to such a mess.
To resume the story, I may say that Marseille is big city and there are a lot of hotels where you will not face any of above mentioned problems

Our balcony was great, room was clean and comfortable. Metro not too far away and really reasonably priced to get to places.
The area was not what we expecting with not coming across much in the area other than the metor

We loved it was so close to Perier metro, about a two min walk. Also a nice supermarket nearby. Apts were spotlessly clean and comfy. Decent sized bedroom and bathroom. Small kitchen wasa bonus.
You had to pay a150 euro deposit which was unexpected. Everything else was great.

Great location - easy access to public transport with friendly staff. Room was really quiet for such a central location. Loved the equipped kitchen that had everything you could need. Vending machine also downstairs and gorgeous bakery close by to get your lunch for day trips. Very comfortable bed - could not have asked for better!
All good

The rooms are small but well-equiped, you have eveything you need there, even a dishwasher. The receptionists were very helpul and friendy. The place is quiet yet very easily accessible, only two minutes from the main bus and metro lines, 20 minuts walk to the city centre
I was a bit irritated that guests are asked to empty their trashbin. Not annoyed, just iiritated.

Closeness to several supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacy, patisserie, shops, etc.
The beds were comfortable and the bedsheets were clean.
Has microwave, kettle, coffee machine, built in cooking hob, hair dryer, dinning table.
Not pleasant for the eyes. Old Kitchenware, old reception desk, rotting furniture in reception and in the room. Location looked very unsafe, no safe parking at the location. One-way street, difficult to navigate with a car. No USBs. Not enough closets and drawers. The only closet was also used to store the mop and cleaning tools and had water pipes in it, some hangers missing. Difficult to workout the dishwasher (no instruction). Very dirty and dusty blinders. No easy to find instructions on the fire exit.
Property is in need of updating. The furniture are rotting, the apartment needs repainting and retiling. Kitchen and bathroom are outdated and very old with not enough worktop (had to use the cooking hob as worktop). Kitchenware are old, non matching and missing cutlery. Reception gets you to sing a document that you are required to clean the kitchen and empty the rubbish bin at check out. Definitely was not value for money (not for £150 per night). There was no daily cleaning included. No proper ventilation in the bathroom. Aircon in the bedroom was not working.

Room was not clean upon arrival, dusty. I asked for extra pillow, not available. No room cleaning unless you pay extra. No soap in the bathroom. By check-out you have to take out your own garbage can. Offered food is gar food, not fresh. Too expensive for what you get and info on Booking.com isn't correct. There's no room cleaning unless extra pay. Breakfast is over expensive for what they offer.
room was spacious and had it's own kitchenette. Everything needed to be cleaned upon leaving the hotel

I arrived at the hotel to be told my reservation had been changed to a different Odalys hotel elsewhere in the city. There had been no prior notification and I was just expected to accept this and make my own way to this alternative hotel which was several kilometres away and not in an area of the city which anyone should be asked to stay. I stated I had no intention of travelling to a different hotel, I had a confirmation for this hotel and wanted my room. The staff were of no help and I walked out telling them to cancel and I would find my own alternative. Subsequent complaints to both the hotel itself and in writing to the head office in Paris in line with the complaints policy have been met with total silence. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in 40 years of travelling, a complete disregard for customers, I would never consider using a hotel in this chain again.
