If you like funky, this is the place for you.

Great location within walking distance to Auroville. I had a room upgrade to a lovely room overlooking a forest but earlier I was put into worker housing which was noisy and uncomfortable.

Breakfast was supposed to be included but the service was chaotic. The room I was assigned was in the workers' wing of the property and the room was ugly so small like a closet. It was very noisy with workers. I paid for an upgrade for some time but was told I had to return to the workers' quarters as they had other bookings. A really poorly managed property but nice people who just hadn't been trained well....

Nice rural hotel

Its near auroville so if you plan to visit it this is a good option. There was nice swimming pool. I was in during the night wich the staff did not like but it was not a big deal. The staff was helpful in arranging rikshas for me.

Unless you rent a motorbike the location is very unaccessible and there was a bit of a problem getting rikshas to come here. Getting out is ok as the reception just arranged rikshas for me, but it was a bit expensive.

Good location, terrible maintenance!

Location was very good, only 3 minutos walk from the visitor center.

The place was filthy. I waited to finish the trip to compare to other places to make sure I would have a fair review, but definitely was the worst accommodation during a 3 weeks trip with my husband. Walls were dirty. There was a lot of dust. The trash can in the bathroom was full when we first got in the room, the fan was black, looks like it hasn’t been wiped in the last couple of years. The bed was done, but certainly the sheets were used, there was hair in it and it smelt like sweat. The pool was green, no maintenance at all. Such a shame, because it could be a charming stay surrounded by nature and well located.

Charming guesthouse close to Auroville Visitors Centre

Charming guesthouse, a short walk from the Auroville visitor’s centre and the Matrimandir. Very friendly and helpful reception and staff. Convenient garden restaurant with nice food.

Peaceful and Serene

Stayed for 1 day after Christmas 2022 and as a female solo traveller, I found the property quite safe and easily accessible to Auroville Visitors Centre and Matrimandir. Awesome place to unwind yourself from tough city life. It is surrounded by greenery and peace.

I found management of check in and check out bit clumsy but may be it was because of the peak season. Nevertheless the entire staff were very helpful and cordial. Just have some patience with the management and you will have a great time undoubtedly.
