Wir würden sofort wieder dort buchen! :)

Wir haben die Safari über die Unterkunft gebucht, was die absolut beste Entscheidung war. :) Unser Fahrer war wirklich toll, er was selbst so interessiert und hat uns viel erklärt und gezeigt, wir haben wahnsinnig viele Tiere gesehen. Die Unterkunft an sich hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen, der Pool war toll, man hatte alles was man braucht und das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. :) Jederzeit gerne wieder, wir haben die Unterkunft oft weiterempfohlen :)

Unser Zimmer ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, gemessen am Standard in ganz Sri Lanka war es aber wirklich ok. :)

Best place, especially for birders and relaxation.

Fantastic location, great service and lovely grounds. You will love if a bird watcher as many species in grounds. Would have loved to stay longer, recommend highly.

Perfect location

Location is perfect to get early in the morning to the national park. Only 2 km away from main entrance. Just a 5 min work to the lake of the national park, where you can see at the sunset the elephants coming. The pool is also perfect after an early morning safari to relax in the afternoon. All together perfect location!

Surrounded by nature and calmness

Birds Paradise Inn is an amazing place with bungalows in the middle of a big green garden. In front you have a river. You can see and hear birds, sometimes you also meet a monkey. We loved our stay there surrounded by nature and calmness. The staff was very kind and always helpful. In the morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. We felt very welcome.

Nice outdoor pool and restaurant. Pretty area next to the river, fairly close to the National park. Helpful staff.

Needed an area to hang or store your clothes.

Good staying, super food and safari

the location of hotel is very good for morning safari. The pool is very nice and clean. We had a jeep for safari from the hotel, and it was very good choice. The driver was very nice and helpful, we saw a lot of animals. Breakfest and meals from restaurant were very delicious. Staff was really nice.

The rooms was a little bit dirty. The walls and bedlines were not clean. It should be cleaned in more details.

A perfect stay, will recommend

Staff were super friendly and helpful and made our stay even better. The pool was really nice and a good size. Room has plenty of space and was clean. Shower was very warm. Restaurant food was very good and priced fairly. Staff arranged safari which was an unreal experience and the price was very good. Lasa, our guide was perfect he knew so much and was great at spotting animals. He was super friendly as well. Communication was very good even from before we arrived. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in the area. Excellent value for money.

We have a very nice stay,and a excellent Safari with Lasa as guide/driver we can recommend him,he also know a lot about birds and good to find these. The pool was very nice for relaxing after a long safari and with lot of birds. Birgitte,Claus,Jytte and Claus from Denmark

Really nice small hotel right at the river. Lots of birds, trees and quietness! We also did the safari with the hotel. It was great! We really enjoyed our stay!

We had the place for ourselves and it felt like a luxury residence. B7ngalow by the river very friendly staff made uss feel like home. Safari was a real cherry on the top - Lasa is so attentive and He could be the sole reason to choose this place. I think the ownervtreats his guys really well and it pays back. I really loved the vibe

Great place for your visit to Udawalawa

The staff was very friendly. The pool was nice. The location is very well positioned if you eant to visit Udawalawa National Park and the Eliphant Transit

The room was dark and could have been more clean. There were some birds, but not the amount what you would expect from the name of the accomodation.

Great hotel, both rooms are big clean and very comfortable. The hosts are lovely, the breakfast is super good and very rich. Wifi excellent and it is rather rare. Unbeatable price for the quality of services everything was great!! And the safari was really really excellent and good knowledgeable driver

Don’t be fooled by the pictures!!!

- The hotel was close to Udawalawe safari park. - Staff were friendly.

- Food was poor. - There is only a thin bed sheet for covering, no blanket. So if you use the air conditioner then it gets real cold, and if you don’t then it’s hot, not to talk about the useless mosquito nets. We had a real bad sleep. - No cupboard or hanger. - No toiletries. - We paid the same amount for an excellent 5 star hotel in Kandy for the same price.

super nice stay in the nature with a beautiful pool area and nice Bungalows. the stuff is super friendly an helpful, the safari organized from the hotel was super nice, the guide was so friendly and told us a lot of things about the animals. he also knew the German names of the animals which were in some cases pretty useful

Great place to relax after a long day Safari.

Beautiful quiet place near Udawalawe park. We arrived at 11am and did the afternoon half day safari with lunch which was arranged by hotel. Safari was amazing and guide was really helpful. After Safari we had a lovely swim in the pool and dinner in the restaurant. Really nice quiet rooms with AC and powerful showers. Breakfast was really good and big portions. Was a great place to between ella and Marissa.

Staff service is excellent. Not only during staying but also before visiting staff gave us enough information and friendly and timely communication.

Not big for me but in room i cannot connect either wifi and usual network.

Place to relax

The service was great. The staff was very attentive. The food was very tasty! At the pool we could relax well. Thank you for the laundry service! The best part was the in-house safari with Lasa! :D He was so great, found so many animals and could explain everything to us.

The cottage we had was older, the porch was partially broken. The room was relatively dark and damp, but clean! With the hut we had probably bad luck.

"Affordable price, excellent location! Quite smooth reservation process, very friendly service at the desk, clean & large room for two, very quiet over the balcony view to front canal - a very pleasant stay at the Udawalawa and in the middle of practically everything!"

The staff was amazing!!! Two guys helped us with everything ve asked and even with what we just thought about :)) And they prepared a room for us by a special request ( it is our honeymoon and guys brought us fruits and flowers by the check-in time). They are true professionals and great people!! The Garden is great. The restaurant is very tasty.

If you are here only for the safari it's om

-Great location as a base for safaris. -Nice pool -The staff is amazing and great with kids. Our two-year-old had a blast with them.

-They accept cash only. -No wifi & cellular reception in the rooms. -The hotel doesn't clean the rooms or changes your towels during your stay -The guy at the reception is a horrible person. Tried to scam us by charging a '10% service fee' twice and wasn't attentive at all. I don't think he's the right one for the job. -Multiple stray dogs walk around freely and sleep on your porch. -The badroom smelled real bad.
