Lovely hotel, very clean and the breakfast was decent.
The location. The hotel is located next to the viaduct and several locals said the area is very dangerous especially at night.

i dont know how i got a very good price on this but it is a hotel so the private room was very clean, had an AC, comfy bed with fresh sheets and you can ask to clean it whenever necessary
the shower was amazing with good pressure and clean
they provide toilet paper, soap, towels
my room had a balcony with chairs and a table
the wifi was good
maybe if you are a backpacker looking for a hostel, it is not, so no common chill spots and mostly couples/families and colombians here which gives the place a very calm and quite vibe
not really much to say, everything was great

The room and the view.
The breakfast.

Nice little room, fairly priced, well decorated.
The hot water was also unexpected but very much appreciated.
The late-night receptionist was very sweet and accommodating.
The first front desk receptionist seemed annoyed to have us. She did not answer any of our questions. Also failed to mention breakfast times so the following morning when we went at 8:20 to eat she refused to serve us breakfast because although they normally serve until 8:30, she had already cleaned up. Very condescending and unhelpful.
It was all too bizarre and I felt very disrespected, the second we got there she was just terrible, wouldn't help us get a cab, or with recommendations on where to go (all very routine things in my experience). This hotel would be wonderful otherwise without her.

nothing
it was a horrible dirty place. if you are traveling, don’t stay here, it’s more for local to have quick hook up. the wall are paper thin. you can hear the traffic. people talking in their room. the roof is made from plastic. when it rains at night( which happens pretty much every night in pereira, you will never be able to sleep.) then there is rooster crowing from 4 am every 10 seconds

The decoration and the views from the hotel. Everything was so clean.
One guest turned the TV on, very early in the morning and the volume was so high.

The hotel has new administration and now is called Simon Plaza. The place was clean. Mary Luz got my booking in a friendly way and also made my breakfast the following morning: arepa, mini croassaint, scrambled egg, ☕. Really nice girl from mi city, Medellín. I still say this hotel is perfect for me due to its cost and location near downtown.
Everything ok so far

Hotel was good price. Clean. Nice balcony in my private room and the public balcony. Nice sofa. Free coffee and water.
Shower got colder every day for 3 days. Paid in the morning. No change so owed me 10,000 COP. Afternoon no change. Late that night no change. Next morning said he get the change but there was none. Checked out 20 minutes later. Afraid they take something from my room.

The location is not too bad. Even though it's right next to a highway, you are quite close to the shops. The girl from the desk was friendly enough to order me a taxi so I could leave this nightmare behind as soon as possible.
Summary: prices are not transparent, breakfast is NOT included, people smoke INSIDE their rooms, LOUD music, disturbed nights, no toilet seat!
I booked a night via Booking.com, when I arrived I had to pay about 40% extra because they said the price on Booking was not correct. Very annoying when you come in late and tired! The lady also promised me that breakfast was included, but the morning after they were going to charge me another 5k for breakfast, unbelievable. My room was ok but the toilet had no seat!
The worst part is that there was loud music until late and guests smoke inside the rooms! I had the feeling that I was inside a club, not a hotel! Very disturbing! I tried to contact the front desk theough whatsapp, they did not answer so I had to try to stop the music and cigarette smoke myself. Very unprofessional. They play loud electronic music in the morning as well, i am amazed by how bad this experience was.
