Nice surprise of a good place to stay

The staff was super nice from the woman who checked us in to the woman who cleaned the room. I liked the garden and the old colonial building, plus free tea throughout the day. It was very quiet at night, too.

We didn’t find the thicker blankets until we were packing up to leave. Also, wish we would have known how nice this hotel and the town of Calca was so we could’ve stayed longer.

Superb

Nice garden, friendly staff, spacious room

BATHROOM was smelly but it looked clean. No side bed lights just blue lights bulb lamp in the middle of the room ( but it seemed lightning is an issues all around the country: the placement of lamps and the bulb characteristic : too strong too blue light)

Dogs barking all nights

Impossible to sleep . The dogs of the neighbours have been barking during 4 days . The hotel offered me to change room. It was better with ear plugs . The hotel couldn't do anything .

Plenty of space in room, nice views, good location close to square. Friendly staff.

Cold room, didn’t provide heater first night even though I asked for one in advance for both rooms reserved. No outlet next to bed.

Awesome Experience

I greatly reccomend Hotel R House. Excellent location, the staff was always available and with great attitude, hot water and very clean. Love the well equipped kitchen that you can use. thanks for everything, with love Marco

underwhelmed

the rooms were pretty, and warm, the bathrooms were pretty. the garden was pretty. the kitchen was open for our use.

THere was construction going on next door, and for the foreseeable future. the rooms were very nice, and our window opened up to the street; which would be nice, except at 6 am a dump truck backed up against the wall, and the construction crew began dumping stuff into the truck. not cool. then the family next door used a weed wacker for at least an hour on their lawn. it was not calm. the "free breakfast" was white pan, with butter, and the coffee was terrible. absolutely no effort. the sewer pipes were apparently installed straight, because even though we were on the second floor, we could smell sewage and had to keep the door closed. oh, and in the description, it said it was a good place for kids. great, except the bunk beds did not have a railing.it was at least 9 ft high. our kid fell out in the middle of the night. we had to take him to the emergency room for x rays at 7 am the next day- back in cusco! lost his front tooth.

Nice clean rooms.

It was very clean. The bathroom was modern. Nice linens. The location was good. Check-in was easy.

Our room located road side was very noisy. There was no curtain for the window in the door. Breakfast was small; just bread, juice, and coffee.
