Great for families
I grew up in the area so it’s where I wanted to stay to visit my Calgary family and friends. My Mom and I stayed there and had lots of space for all visitors. The house is a little tired and some things should be fixed/replaced ie dishwasher and fireplace also for older folks you may want to consider the bathing situation. There are two bathtubs with showers but no walk in shower so my mom (83) was unable to have one. Bathtubs are deeper than average...just an FYI but on the flip side if you have kids, great tubs! I had a few questions regarding the house so had to call Susan a few times and she was very responsive.

Great house in Calgary close to everything
A few friends and I were in town working for a week and I found this great house. Everything was easy as far as checking in, checking out, contact with the host Sue is always prompt and courteous. The house was very nice and clean and in a great location close to anything you want. I would recommend this house to anyone and I look forward to my next stay!

Great location, good space but needs some TLC
We booked the property for almost three weeks over Christmas. We paid for an extra night so my brother could come in early and we could check out late. My brother arrived to a house that was filthy and had to spend a couple of hours cleaning. When I arrived the house was still dirty- after 30 hours of travelling and more than 5k spent I had to wipe walls down (food on walls and cupboards), clean bathrooms and generally feel like I could eat and sleep. When we complained Susan said the prior guests had trashed the place. I had to complain a second time in order to get an offer of a clean at Susan’s expense. Once this was done the house was better and more liveable. For the price I think the house needs some love. For example the rugs on the floor are really dirty and the curtains are shabby. There are door handles missing on furniture, nowhere to put your luggage. It just needs an update. The kitchen is great but lacking in serving bowls and the cupboards are full of things that other people leave behind, a lot out of date.
Susan is a very responsive host and overall the house was great for our large family. We were toasty warm in minus 22 weather and enjoyed our stay in Calgary. The location is incredibly convenient and close to everything. It is not shown in the pictures or mentioned that the house backs on to an extremely busy street. This was fine in winter when the house is closed up, but I think road noise would be an issue in summer.

Excellent location, very comfortable house
We (a family of 7 with small children) stayed here for two months and had a great time. The house is comfortable and has many nice bedrooms. The kitchen is well-appointed with anything you need for cooking; we especially enjoyed using the gas grill out back. It is a short walk to the C-Train and convenient to a nice indoor shopping mall and, importantly, the shortest walk to a ToysRUs. It's also very close to Southland Leisure Center, which has a fantastic swimming pool that we used regularly. Everyone in the family had a blast and enjoyed weekend getaways to Canmore, Banff, and Jasper. Thanks, Sue, for a great stay!!

Great family residence in SE Calgary
Well-presented home with all essentials needed for a family vacation . We stayed a week and were very comfortable.
The bedrooms, living spaces and kitchen were all well-appointed. The wifi was reliable and coped with four people being on-line simultaneously.
The deck and garden was a pleasant outside space, although the traffic noise from Bonaventure Dr was rather intrusive.
The owner was easy to contact and was very helpful when needed (which was not very much).
We would have no hesitation in renting the house again if we were in that part of Canada.

Perfect location, spacious well equipped house more than adequate for 6 adults
This was our second time staying at Susan's VRBO. She responded quickly to our requests and we all enjoyed our stay.

Great property: spacious, comfortable, and feels like home.
Our group had a great time at this location. The common space is comfortable and homey, the rooms and beds are comfortable and relatively large, and the backyard is quiet and private.
There were some issues with the payment and Keith was extremely helpful and understanding. He made the entire process very easy and made sure we were settling into the property.

Lots of space, good facilities.
We were 10 adults staying in Calgary for my daughter's wedding. From the moment of booking everything was straightforward. We had to change our dates and our emails were responded to very promptly and our amendments processed efficiently. The house has 5 bedrooms with 4 doubles and 1 twin bedded. All were of a good size. The downstairs layout was great and we had a lot of visiting grooms' family over the period and we never felt crushed. The BBQ on the patio was much appreciated and we hosted 20 family without any problems. The kitchen is well set up with a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and an easy to use oven. A large fridge and freezer was able to hold all the food for 10 without a problem. There were 2 bathrooms, one of which is downstairs off the largest bedroom but with a Jack and Jill arrangement so that it was still available to other guests. Great sized washer and dryer easily coped with laundry needs and there was enough soap left in the house to get us started on our first load.
This is a great property for groups - however I would warn families with younger children that the stairs are wooden and so slips on socks could be an issue.
It was so convenient with a Safeway, a shopping mall (South Centre), a liquor store, a petrol station and the C train all within a 10 minute walk of the house. A quiet corner plot. There is an Earls within walking distance.

Visited Calgary for my sons wedding
My family and I spent 5 days in Calgary and this home was very comfortable for the 10 of us. It was very clean, so close to everything we needed, we could walk to restaurants, Tim Hortons, and shopping centres. The house had all the comforts of home. Susan was very organized with arrival details and deposit refund. We will definitely enjoy this home on future family visits. I cannot say enough positive things about this house. It made our vacation comfortable.

Calgary home
We spent five nights in this property while on a fishing trip. The residence is in a great location for Bow River access. It is close to restaurants , and grocery stores. Susan was fantastic to deal with. We will definitely return.

Great Rental Property In Clagary
We booked this property for a corporate trip for two employees spending just over a month in Calgary. The feedback was nothing but positive. The property is very spacious, has a driveway, a large (nicely stocked) kitchen, lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance, and a great backyard space. We have used another property from the same owner in the past and as always Susan made sure our team had everything they needed and was very quick to answer any questions we had throughout the booking process and our stay. The included amenities as well as the location made it ideal for our stay in Calgary.

Willow Park
My family and I stayed at this house for 11 nights in May, while our house was undergoing renovations. We had plenty of room for 4 adults and all the amenities we needed. The house is well-stocked and ready to accommodate. The location was very central and the surrounding neighborhood is great for walks. We would definitely stay here again, if available.

Evoy Family
My family of 7 adults and one child choose this home and location to attend a wedding in Calgary; this was the first time that we have stayed anywhere but a hotel. The accommodations where great, ample space for sleeping and enjoying company together as a group rather than running from room to room in a hotel. Spacious kitchen and adjoining dinning area is fantastic for hanging out together. Close to everything you need, groceries, restaurants, etc. Very easy access to go site seeing whether that is heading to Banff or Drumheller.......we did both. Susan and Jacques where great hosts, always checking on us via email to ensure that we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. On our next visit to Calgary I will certainly be contacting Susan to find out availability before I look anywhere else. Thank you Susan for your gracious hospitality.

Fair not great
The owner had a worker doing renovations in the basement 7 of the 8 days we rented. A fact she didn't have a chance to tell us until I called the day of our occupancy. She said he couldn't access the upper level as doors where locked. Unfortunately she was wrong the door into the kitchen had the lock configured so it could be opened from the basement. Something the worker did when he wanted to use the microwave to heat up his lunch.
Due to the dry walling in the basement the house could have been cleaner, dry wall dust was obvious, especially on the glass table in the dining area. Infact the first use of the bathrooms produced plums of dust from the bathroom tissue rolls.
The worker was a smoker and that was very evident the day we took possession there was a strong cigarette odour in the house. This odour would be present every time we returned from a day excursion. All of the guests where none smokers so it was obvious to all.
Finally I did call the owner to let her know he was using power tools that where very noisy. Overall it was't the best experience.....not being aware of the work taking place left us with a grin and bare it attitude.....what else could we do!!!!
Definetely wouldn't recommend that location.

We would actually love to live in this house!
We (6 adults and a 2 year old and a 4 year old) stayed in Susan's house for 11 nights for a very special family get together. Susan was very accommodating arranging what we'd need for our 2 year old and our requests in general. The house is large enough to host a large group like ours and nicely updated. The Neighbourhood itself is very quiet. Ample coffee making supplies on site but Tim Horton's is also a 1 minute walk, bonus!! Public transit and grocery stores are also all walking distance! I would actually love to live in this house , such a good location! Thank you for hosting us Susan!

We totally enjoyed our stay in this home.
WE travelled from Eastern Canada to spend time in Calgary with family and the condo was good for us. We were a party of six, were having a birthday party for our little granddaughter, turning ONE YEAR old and there was a perfect back yard to host a party with children and their parents. The house itself was comfortable and the appliances were good and clean. Beds were comfortable and the bedding was good. Location was great with everything we needed close by, grocery stores, wine stores, pharmacy and restaurants. We would definitely rent this home again
