A cozy, friendly taste of Africa

A great place to feel like you are on safari from the first day! Your smile is returned by the lovely team of Merriam and Ndasha who go at length to meet your needs. Great location for when you have an event at the Mövenpick but don't want your standard western hotel room. Safe walk from African Kwela to Mövenpick, even in the early evening. Also great if you are leaving/arriving from Eros airport which is also a very short distance away. Taste breakfast, cozy entourage

Mmmmm.... nothing really. The only 'Even Better If' could be to consider double glazing for room three to reduce the sound of traffic in the morning but I still had 5 fantastic nights! Came back a week later to enjoy their hospitality once again

Wonderful relaxing stay, beautiful secure property with lovely hosts.

The hosts made my stay. They were truly wonderful people - extremely friendly, kind and helpful to my questions and requests. From chatting before my booking, to offering me lifts in their car, and cooking me a pizza (chargeable, but still grateful). Budget room was perfect (minus the fan). The decoration and communal areas are beautiful. Property secured with access gate out front. Thank you Ian & team - I had a wonderful stay.

Really minor things. The fan was a little noisy/chaotic, might need tightening. Pool is clean but needed some debris removing from surface. But this is super picky, and I would stay here again without question.

Sehr nette Inhaber. Es war uns eine große Freude. Sichere Unterkunft mit Parkmöglichkeit. Es handelt sich um eine superschöne Anlage mit Pool und einer kleinen Bar. Die Zimmer bieten alles was man benötigt, selbst Klimaanlage und Kühlschrank. Das Frühstück schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Alles Top 👍🏻

Absolut empfehlenswert. Wir kommen wieder.

So ziemlich alles. Erstklassiges Frühstück, saubere, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit Klima, Fernseher, Kühlschrank und super bequemen Betten. Die Außenanlage gleicht einem botanischen Garten mit gemütlichen Verweilgelegenheiten. Der saubere und gepflegte Pool lädt zu einem erfrischendem Bad ein. Die schönen Bilder auf Booking sind eher noch untertrieben. Abends wird auf Wunsch sogar Pizza zubereitet. Das Personal ist super nett und erfüllt einem nahezu jeden Wunsch.

It was OKAY. thank you for hosting us though.

Everything was fine, Just the Parking which is a bit inconvenient for a room closer, coz due to cars parking close to your window and the lights are disturbing. And perhaps should consider putting darker curtains to help with too much lights shining through the window due to cars being parked close to the room next to the parking.

Some Visitors will be so noisy not being considerate of others on the premises, due to the fact that the rooms are very close to each other. But that should be taken up with the clients to be considerate of others and not making noise.

It was a a little haven in the middle of Windhoek.

Ian and Diane were so helpful and hospitable. The guest house pool and surrounding area is beautifully decorated with wooden animals and African crafts. The staff were wonderful as was the breakfast.

We liked everything.

Breakfast was good and I love it. I did not go for a swim but the pool looked very clean.

The single bed is not very comfortable. It should at least be a third quarter bed or double bed.

the lady of the house was very kind: persistent in getting us in a popular restaurant on saturday evening (for an indoor table) , but also putted the heating high on, for our comfort: it was verry cold that night, around freezing temperature

the breakfast was late: normaly from 7:00, but we were informed the girl was coming in only at 7:00 and it took her until 7:30 to put the first bread in the basket...

Beautiful garden and nice room! Breakfast was lovely. Owner Ian is friendly and willing to help.

Although Ian was very friendly to us, he didnt seem to always be that friendly to locals like the taxi drivers who brought us to the guesthouse.

A lovely comfortable place to stay

Breakfast was very good. Pool was covered and too cool to use. Room was quite comfortable but a bit on the cold side.

Outdated.

The accommodation was in a quiet area yet close to the city, restaurants etc. Safe lock up parking for vehicles..

I was disappointed with the old-fashioned.and outdated bedroom that we stayed in, number 4 was small and cluttered. The duvet covers and sheets were old and faded but what I really didn't like was the shower curtain! I do think that better options are available.

Excellent choice for first or last night of vaccation!

Clean and spaceful accomodation. Real african style, very warm personel- owners, great support from Mr.Ian and bis wife. We felt very safe and confortable there👌🏻👌🏻

A bit too close from main road. Traffic can be hear at night from the road.

Children bed used as adults beds?

Great location and beautiful facility with an inviting swimming pool.

The room I was given was having a child like bed. Very small and short. My legs were sticking out of bed and that at just 1.75 tall.
