The staff were incredibly attentive, pleasant, and happy to assist with booking a taxi and dinner recommendations. Also their knowledge of the building, its history, and the antiques that fill its halls was a pleasant addition to their great service. If you are looking for a place to stay that surpasses the ordinary, and is filled with pieces of true history, stay here. You will not be disappointed!
I couldn't find anything that would warrant a poor review. Everything was perfect. Staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful as well as accommodating to my early departure by setting up an early breakfast.

Great location, in the middle of the old city center and full of history. You can see that it is well loved and the staff was absolutely fantastic. Our flight got canceled short notice and they were really helpful. The décor might not be everyone’s kind of tea but we found it charming for a few nights.
Communication with some of the staff was a bit tricky, as they only spoke Spanish. So we missed that it was possible to order different items for breakfast, as no one told us.:-( but that was partially our fault.

This place is delightful. It’s not a hotel so don’t expect hotel style facilities. It’s like a really upscale home stay.Pay the extra and get a suite. The cheaper room on the ground floor is ok, but the first floor rooms are far better. Ask the staff for the tour of the cellars.
4.7
This hotel is like a jewel. Go on their website or look at reviews on YouTube and it’s as good as it looks. Staying here is like being in a museum of interesting artefacts. The room was large and very comfortable and surprisingly peaceful for somewhere so centrally located. The staff are very accommodating and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. If you want to stay somewhere special, even for a couple of nights, don’t hesitate to book.

Parking was on the street outside the hotel, but easily accessible. The hotel was less than a block from the very nice central square with an outdoor market, and numerous restaurants. The square and side streets had many shops for those interested. The various bodegas (vineyards) were an easy drive from the hotel.
The small hotel was centered around a nice interior courtyard, to which many of the rooms overlooked. The rooms were very nice, with excellent beds and adequate space to spread out.
Breakfast were very nice, with the usual offerings and included eggs if desired.

unique hotel and excellent people working there
ground floor room was a little noisy but expected with the location

The hotel was in the center of town with easy access to sights, bars and restaurants. Unfortunately there was a lot of street noise.
Street noise.

You sleep in the museum! Everything had a sign of a time...
Very good bed, great breakfast!

Conveniently located in the UNISCO protected historical area this four rooms boutique hotel takes you back in time. A historical building with antique furniture is more a home than a hotel. Excellent housekeeping by Celeste and more than excellent care , advise and organization by Agustina.

Everything - location, wonderful staff, accommodations, breakfast.

Location, lovely antique furniture, super little restaurant next door

Large room in an old house that is part of the Jezuit historical remains in Cordoba, so it is if you are residing in a museum. Very centrally located in the old center. Super friendly staff, wifi works well. Parking (at 1500 ARS per day) is available in the same street 250m away from the hotel.
Rooms are dark and without ventilation. Decoration is with lots of antique and as such not very practical, I personally don't like that very much. Breakfast is limited and every day the same.

We liked that the property felt very personal and historical. Our room was comfortable and unique in an European style. The staff were very gracious and helpful with recommendations and even went to buy a sinus medicine and Mate for my husband. We liked Marmol, the restaurant next door; it felt like our own cafe.
Nothing.

it’s a journey to Cordoba in the 17 century
it needs to improve on boutique high end hotel rings like : brands they use for tea, toiletries

It was like living in the musium. One of the great experiences in my life. All of the staff are very kind.
I was looking for bathiing in the gorgeous bathtub.
But due to the structure of the old building, the water could not keep the temperature. I was freezing. The photos of booking.com are not fake, but the real room is not so goldish shining as these photos ; )

good location, quiet place.

We were looking for a unique boutique hotel experience and this hotel delivered! Walking into Virreinato was like travelling back in time a few centuries. Yes, the hotel has all the modern comforts, but the walls, the furniture and the decorations each have a story to tell and they ooze history. We really enjoyed the guided tour through the property - a must-do to really appreciate how special this hotel is. We also loved breakfast - the food was abundant and the setting was pretty magical. Also a great location in the city's Jesuit Quarter, which makes it really easy to get around on foot.

beautiful historic building - I really enjoyed the tour and learning about the history of the building and the antiques. the tunnels were great to see
nothing it was great

Hotel is a museum housing the many paintings, furniture, and artifacts collected by the proprietor's family, who had been one of the biggest art-collectors in Argentina. The rooms are large, quiet, and comfortable, but be prepared for all the furniture and finishings to be period pieces in a boroque style. It's extremely cool and interesting, but far from a modern style. The location is fantastic, easy walking distance to both the central square and the new city.
Service is friendly, personable, and very helpful. The staff know and recognize their guests, and we enjoyed chatting with them.
Would highly recommend if you're looking for a memorable and affordable place to stay in a good location. Would not recommend if you are looking for a modern, professional and impersonal hotel experience.
If you're looking for a minimalist sort of place with professionally anonymous staff, this isn't it.

I had an excellent stay at Virreinato Hotel Boutique. For lovers of art, architecture and history this is an amazing experience. The elegant setting for breakfast each morning was very memorable. Would definitely stay again.

In one word our stay was excellent. The hotel is situated in a private museum and all rooms are decorated accordingly. The breakfast was very good and home made. Do ask for a tour through the house / museum. Also the location was perfect as it is situated next to the Manzana Jesuitica. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Nada!
