This Santa Barbara cottage is located in the carefree West Beach neighborhood. It’s filled with small bungalows and boutique hotels that are just steps from the beach, Stearns Wharf, State Street, Funk Zone, and the Harbor. The Brewhouse, Toma, Jeannine's Bakery, and Chad’s restaurants frequented by locals, and Amtrak station are all close by making the walkability that much better.

Walk through the beautiful courtyard with a picturesque fountain and morning bistro area. The open concept Kitchen and Living Room features a comfy couch and modern appliances with courtyard views. Both Bedrooms are outfitted with stylish furnishings and the wraparound deck offers a private outdoor dining area. A uniquely special design are original Gregory Beeman paintings, specifically commissioned for this property.

The Hideaway sits below The Lookout at West Beach and adjacent to The Cottage at West Beach, each offering the similarly unique design and amenities. All 3 units of this triplex are available through Paradise Retreats. Imagine a wonderful family reunion and rent all three!

What a wonderful week we had at the Hideaway! The house was across the street from the beach, a block or so from State street and within walking/biking distance to everywhere worth seeing in downtown SB. The backyard water feature was so wonderful! The house had every amenity we needed and the neighborhood was perfect. We will definitely be back again!

The Hideaway exceeded my expectations. All appliances were in excellent working condition, nice huge tub for kids bath, large private patio area, full size washer/dryer, and garage parking was a bonus. As far as location, I could not have asked for a better one. Steps to the beach, steps to Chad's Cafe, a short 5 minute walk to MOXI Museum, McConnell's ice cream, and walking distance to State Street and the Funk Zone-- both about a 10 minute walk. Of the 5 days we were there we only got in the car once to drive to the zoo. Highly recommend this property! We hope to be back soon.

We had a great time in Santa Barbara. The West Beach house was a perfect fit for us. Our daughter was graduating from Westmont College. So the location was great. The proximity to downtown, the pier and the beach was also super convenient. The gardens are beautiful and the outside living spaces were a real plus for us. When we come back we’ll stay at West Beach house again.

This property is in a great location! Quiet streets close to all of the action. It had everything we needed and more. We loved the enclosed patio and the beach gear. The only improvement that could be made is to fix the beds so they don't squeak. We couldn't turn over without waking each other up.

Fabulous location near Funk zone and Long Beach walks but very quiet and peaceful. Well equipped kitchen and thanks for the gratis bottle of wine. Wonderful checkin. Super clean.

This property is ideally located for exploring all that Santa Barbara has to offer. We could walk most everywhere we wanted to go, and the freeway access is quick and easy. Having a place to park our car was definitely a plus! There was an unfortunate water leak on the property during our stay, but the management company/ownership handled it promptly and professionally. Overall, a great stay in Santa Barbara. Wouldn't hesitate to return to this property.

Overall, the experience was excellent. We didn't use the dishwasher, but the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The shower is difficult to get in and out (were older). We left the used towels all in the bath. It was the wrong week to make this trip because of the Fiesta Week. Luckily we had made restaurant reservations. My wife enjoyed her 90th birthday in a great little city.

This was a fantastic place to call home while visiting family in Santa Barbara. It was very clean and quite comfortable. The location can not be beat…mere steps to the beach State Street, and Funk Zone. I would definitely stay here again!

We did a mother/daughter trip to this super cute and quaint rental in SB! The location was fantastic. The outside patio was perfect for nice weather. The shower was great too. The quirky parts of the property was the dining table & dinnerware. The table was very wobbly. The dinnerware seemed super cheap quality (like $1 store) and there was no regular size drinking glasses (just small low ball glasses) so we refilled our water/beverages like every 10min LOL. Otherwise, it was a great stay thank you!

Took a 1-week break from home to visit our daughter and used this place as our base. I had to work during the week and was pleased to find a great internet connection and set up my workstation on the kitchen table. The house was amazing - very comfortable and great location - could walk to the beach, pier, harbor and into town for the farmer's market. Having the garage to park the car in was a plus. Would definitely recommend.

Loved our time in Santa Barbara and this was a great/centrally located property. Beautiful location, and walking distance to anywhere you want to go downtown! Garage spot was a nice bonus. Only downside was an excessive amount of emails from the Paradise Retreats folks with offers/vacation recommendations.
