It was convenient to transportation into Dublin and offered everything we needed. Love our host she was fun and entertaining and very helpful to get us where we needed to be on time. She got us a cab for 4 a.m. for our flight to Edinburgh at 7:15 a.m. Everything was clean and taken care of.
We liked it.

The place is situated in a lovely neighborhood, a bit far from the centre of Dublin, but there are plenty of buses and trains you can catch to get there quickly. I suggest you to get a Visitor Leap Card in order to save time and money! The neighborhood is also extremely quiet at any time of the day and it felt very safe even late at night.
The host is very kind and patient, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and she also gave us many useful tips and recommendations.
Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
We shared the bathroom with a permanent guest but we've never actually met him and he kept everything spotless so it felt like we weren't actually sharing anything.
Highly recommended!

It was a very clean room and very quiet around the house. The host was very kind. We arrived late, but she prepared some foods for us. As we were very tired, it helped us a lot.

Our host, Catherine, was super kind and gave us extra blankets and left a hot water kettle and tea bags in the room. We enjoyed out cozy stay! The place is a bit farther from downtown but it's an easy walk to the DART which got us into town quickly.

The kindness of Catherine, a generous and proud Irish lady who makes you feel at home.
Very comfy bed, bathroom next door, breakfast corner in the room, quiet and wide.
Artane is a green and peaceful place only four DART stops from Tara St (15'), so this accomodation is more affordable than the center of the city but still very handy! And Howth, beautiful peninsula where Dubliners go to walk and eat fish, is very close.

Basic accommodation for holiday. Clean, comfy and Catherine is lovely. Further from city than preferred but good access to public transport and good local resources.
Overall would recommend for a hub but not a holiday spot as basic and no breakfast included.
Clean, comfy and good access to public transport. Breakfast would have been nice but not a huge hassle.

Catherine was a very welcoming and lovely host, the tip to head out to Howth was a great one. The beds were very comfortable and both the room and bathroom all very clean. The location near a DART station is great for exploring Dublin and the surrounding area.
No complaints.

I would call this a North Dublin cultural experience.
I know Dublin quite well and was looking for accommodation only for the purpose of having my own space between catching up with a number of friends.
However, for anyone who isn't familiar with the city I would recommend this property as an excellent opportunity to stay in a typical North Dublin family home. The location, architecture and decor are very typical of the area and it's a real treasure.
Catherine is an excellent host and runs a very clean guest house that has a relaxed, homely [very personalised] and unobtrusive atmosphere.
I had a car and there's plenty of space for on-street parking. For anyone who hasn't got their own car the transport links by bus and DART [Dublin Area Rapid Transport] are very good.
I loved the kitchen for breakfast in the mornings. It's absolutely huge. I was the only guest for the two days I stayed [no reflection on the property, still very few people travelling due to pandemic] but I'd say this would be a very sociable space to mix with other guests. The kitchen is really only for breakfast up until 10:30am as it is the proprietors' own functioning kitchen but I'm sure Catherine would allow guests to bring in their own take away food in the evening with prior mutual agreement.
Highly recommended and very reasonably priced.
Only one small comment for an item of improvement. Could do with a bathmat in the bathroom for stepping out of the shower as it can be a bit slippy. I forgot to mention this to the proprietor before I left, otherwise I'm sure it would have been corrected immediately.
