We had such a great time in Hiru Villa, it‘s a little paradise! The host family is so kind and cooks delicious food. We had breakfast and dinner every day. The room was very clean and cosy. It is also close to a beautiful beach (paradise beach). We would have loved to stay longer!

Lovely place, and family. The beaches nearby are the best we have seen in Sri Lanka. Food was fantastic. Highly recommended.

This is simply a great place to chill out for a few days (or longer) close to wonderful undiscovered beaches. It's intimate too - just two rooms set in peaceful garden (more spacious than the pictures suggest) with its own superb restaurant. Dilum's knowledge and supportive attitude make everything seem easy (he also manages a luxury hotel in Tangalle) while his wife's kindness and cooking skills will make you wish you were staying for longer.

Very tasty authentic Sri Lankan breakfast. And a very helpful and friendly owner who arranged scooters, advised where to look, how to change money and provided lots of other useful information.

Exceptional place with a garden, very calm and perfectly located between beautiful beaches.
Dilum and his wife were so helpful in every way, they even drove us to the airport in the middle of the night when no taxi driver agreed to.
thank you for everything!

Beautiful serene place near the beach where you can see lots of lovely birds in the trees. Amazing family hosting us with the kindest hearts. Delicious delicious breakfast and dinners! Definitely not to be missed :) there are two quiet beaches a short walk away which were our favourite to relax and swim in. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Sri Lanka

we got the no ac room on the first floor, it was absolutely perfect. the place is super cozy and provides an intimate atmosphere the highlight however was the peacock visiting almost every day. Last but not least Dilum and his family have been amazing hosts, they arranged everything we asked for and even shared the secret Dhal curry recipe with me. 100% recommended
the flush was somehow super noisy, I think this can be fixed easily

There are 2 rooms and as a small group we booked both of them, so we had entire property just for us. Good location if u want to stay away from crowdy Tangaelle. Near very nice and quiet beaches.
Host was amazing, they took care of us on every step and everything what we asked was organized very quickly (f.e Tuktuk, car, laundry service). They have cool yardkitchen where they will cook food on request (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the food is there amazing and very delicious.
Rooms were clean, everything worked well.
Family who is the owner of this property is amazing and very kind. Our 7 days stay was very nice and we are gonna miss this place. It was totally worth it!
Nothing to complain.

Me and my Partner initially booked 1 night but extended to 2 because the food at dinner was SO GOOD. Great location next to a variety of beaches, we rented our own tuktuk so were able to explore different bays. Both dinner and breakfast was amazing (but especially traditional curry for dinner) Private bedroom and bathroom were very clean and comfy. We enjoyed sitting out on our private terrance. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Great value for money
wish we had stayed longer

The host family is so kind and caring. The food was excellent. There are two beaches nearby.
The host also exchanges currency if you need with a very good rates. I totally recommend this guesthouse.
Nothing really.
There is just one minor thing and that is finding the place can be tricky, but we called the host and our driver got direction and found it so no big deal after all.

We arrived late to the warmest welcome and a stunning meal. We felt at home straight away, I cannot recommend this place enough. The family are so kind and thoughtful and were so helpful nothing was too much trouble. The situation is perfect less than 5 mins walk to the nicest beach some days we were the only people there, there is another beach that is a ten minute walk which is also lovely and has a beach bar this was a bit busier but still only ten or so there. The food at the villa is the best we had throughout our stay in Sri Lanka so fresh and tasty....we cannot wait to return.
There is nothing that we didn’t like apart from saying goodbye to this wonderful warm family

The Hiru Villa is like a secret spot in tangalle for some relaxed and quiet days with two beautiful and lonely beaches around the corner. We booked it for one night, but spontaneosly added two more, because it was the most amazing, comfortable and quiet guesthouse on our trip so far. The room ist spacious, very clean and modern and just comfortable with a beautiful view from the balkony. The family cooks every night just for their guests, if they want to eat in the (very big and beautiful) Garden. (We can recommend the prawn Curry, it was the most delicious dish on our trip so far!). The host family is absolutely kind and friendly, will try to help you in any situation, for example suggestions on what to do near the guesthouse. For everyone, who wants to spend some relaxed days near tangalle without any worries and for a very good price, the Hiru Villa is perfect!
There's absolutely nothing we didn't Like!
