The place was exactly as described and very clean. It had all the amenities we needed and was in a great location near the lake! My dog Homer had a great time there too.

This house is located in a perfect neighborhood. So close to all things Tahoe.
We enjoyed our stay!

The place met our expectations and the times we reached out to the host, they were there.

A perfect place to stay, with easy access to Heavenly, Kirkwood, and Northstar. We couldn’t have been happier to have access to Tahoe during this historic season, thank you!

Our family of 5 and our two dogs stayed for 3 months (May-Aug). The beds are super comfy, the kitchen is stocked with plenty of kitchenware, the backyard is fenced in which was great for the dogs. Steve and Mary were just a quick call away and responded promptly! Being only two short blocks away from the beach and park was awesome! Having access to the bikes was a nice added bonus.

The photos don't do this place justice!
What a perfect spot in walking distance from everything good! A block away from the beautiful lake; an eyesight catch!
Was not expecting all the accomodations here. Everything in house so up to date, upkept, and the maintained spa so easy to use. 500 plus Premium channels to watch on TV for in home days, nights. Bicycles at hand, per host, to enjoy cruising around town in beautiful weather. Supplies for laundry, dishwashing, toiletries are fully stocked. The cabin is considerably more "Charming" than I had imagined via the photos.
Pets loved it, too! (Huge back yard!) Hosts are quick to respond and were great at answering my curiosities about eateries and any concerns about the cabin.
There is also an information binder with a list of favorited available activities.. along with town ordinances, cabin care/ access (for less chatty guests) to keep things simple.
Neighbors are great, too!
Think we have found our Tahoe stay! Until next time...
Thank you!

Great location for a ski lease!
We rented the house for 3 months (Jan-March 2022) and had a great time. The space was perfect for our group of 6 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 small dog. The fenced backyard was great for the dog and the hot tub was great for us! We'd definitely stay here again, and the location is really convenient for skiing at Heavenly and restaurants/shopping in South Lake. You can also walk to the waterfront path or a small playground!

Cozy log cabin
During our 2 month stay our contact with the owners was wonderful. Whenever we had a concern it was quickly addressed. Everything about our stay was incredible. The only single issue was the spa. It only functioned properly for the first week of our stay. The owners did send out repairmen, but ultimately the spa was not consistent. The internet connection is a life saver due to the horrible cellular reception (AT&T). During our 2 month stay we only had to reset it once. Ultimately we were so happy we left the owners with a gift. That should say it all.

Nice little cabin.
This property was clean and very quaint. The owners had it stocked very well with dishes and utensils. The bedding was excellent and the decorations were perfect for a Tahoe cabin. Nothing fancy. The overall home was not updated to the latest but it all worked and that’s what’s important. The outside yard was excellent for the dog and kiddo to play (huge bonus) and the hot tub was lovely. I would stay here again.

Weekend Getaway
We had a great time at this cabin! We walked down to the water multiple times a day and were only minutes from downtown. The place was pretty clean for the most part, however, there was an obvious ant and rodent problem. Other than that, we loved our stay!

Nice & Cozy house
Very well maintained. Clean and very cozy. Kitchen has lots of utensils. Hot tub is great and my kiddos enjoyed it. washer, dryer, heater - all fully functional with no trouble. Owner is very responsive and they revert back quickly for any question.

Great home
We rented this property as it has stellar reviews and also one of the very few ones that allow pets to stay. The property is in a nice and accessible neighborhood and the lake is just a couple of blocks away from the house. The unit itself was in a very clean condition and it had nice sized backyard for our pet to move around. Hot tub was available, but we didn't end up using it. WiFi didn't work in the first floor bedroom and the water heater is too small to supply enough hot water for a larger party. Otherwise we have had a great stay.

This cabin was easy to find and in a great location. 5 min drive to the stores and restaurants, 10 min drive to Heavenly Ski Resort, super cozy cabin with lots of space. Would stay here again!

Great place and location
Very cute property just as described. Plenty of beds, fenced in yard for dogs, easy check in, driveway for 2 cars. Stairs are a bit steep, but there is a bedroom and bathroom downstairs for those with mobility issues. Right near plenty of dining, Heavenly, and the lake itself. They were kind enough to provide mini shampoos and soaps in the bathrooms for those forgetful souls who forgot to pack them! Highly recommended if you need a place to stay in South Lake Tahoe!

Perfect cozy cabin
We really enjoyed our four night stay. Everything was as advertised. Downstairs had a queen bedroom, on the small side but it's just a place to sleep. Upstairs had two bigger more spacious bedrooms. Twin/full size beds with tv in one. Twin/queen with no tv in the other. Dining table can fit six. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our dinners and breakfast. We just brought our own food. Hot tub, pet friendly enclosed back yard, bicycles, sleds, fire place. We couldn't have needed more. The hot tub was ready for us as soon as we settled in the first night. Everything was super clean, never once did I feel an "ick" factor. The whole experience was comfortable and was a home away from home.

Fall in Tahoe
Our stay at the Charming Cabin was great, it was comfortable and cozy. Our kids enjoyed the movie selection. We stayed Nov 4-7, 2020. It was a cute cabin, we really enjoyed ourselves. The hot tub was really nice,. We couldn’t get the grill to work properly, not sure if it was no propane or if there was an issue with the grill. The bikes were a nice bonus, we used them to ride to the beach which was very very close. It snowed for the first time in the season... we woke up to 7-8 inches on our last day. Couldn’t find the key to get into shed to get the snow shovel and salt but we understood because snow wasn’t expected. When we left, the cleaning person and spa person were waiting outside. Overall stay was great and we would stay here again!

The Most Charming Cabin – Right by the Lake!
This charming cabin felt so cozy, warm, welcoming, and homey. It was all I imagined from the pictures and more. It exceeded my expectations, and I was so pleased with the home's charm and amenities. I hope to return very soon!

Adequate for Tahoe
The property was in a good location. Functionally, it worked well for the 2 couples. The property was in decent order, although a bit smaller rooms than we anticipated. The coffee maker did not work well, the microwave handle was duct taped and the bed coverings were clean but well used. The bath towels were great, the hot tub was good and the bikes were nice to have available. Compared to other properties we used, this one was much more business like, no messages from the Owner telling us much about it, and very business like signage in the property.

Cozy cabin in a wonderful location!
Loved the hot tub, wood stove, tons of kitchen gear for cooking at home, securely fenced yard for dogs, and of course the location 2 blocks from the beach! "Yard" was really all sand/dirt, but the dogs loved it, the trees were beautiful, and it was so convenient, it was worth the very dirty paws. :) Make sure to walk down to grab coffee at Revive and pasta at Gastromaniac! Great spot to social distance away from the resort crowds while still being a stone's throw away from services & recreation. Thank you for a great stay.

We loved our experience and will come back again. The location is close to the lake, walking and biking trails, shopping, eateries, and recreation. The cabin was sparkling clean and our hosts were very responsive to our needs.

Fun was has by all!
We stayed at the cabin for 4 nights. When we got there it was so smoky we really couldn't do any outside activities. My daughter and family tried to ride bikes but came back fairly quickly. BUT the cabin was so charming and perfect for the 6 of us and 2 dogs we all just had a great time. The cabin was homey, the backyard perfect for the dogs and the jacuzzi provided the relaxation we needed. The owner replied to our one concern promptly and was wonderful. This is just a very comfortable home with the cutest decor and we can't wait to go back!

Perfect accommodations for out family
From the moment I entered this property I was pleased with what I found. The furnishings, appliances, kitchen ware, and linens were all of good quality. We brought our own food and cooked all our meals during our stay. Everything we needed was available. I was particularly surprised by the size of the back yard, it was much larger than I thought it was from the pictures. Nice table with 8 chairs for dining outside. Furnishings in the living area were comfortable as were the beds. Great location too, just a short walk to a beach.

Great cabin and location. Bathroom sinks don't drain well and bicycles were not locked up. Everything else was great. Would recommend and would rent again.

Nice Place
The location was great, the house was nice, and clean.
We had a great time, sat in the jacuzzi, BBQ dinners,
played games, and took walks around the neighborhood.
Although, all the bikes at the house need to be serviced.
One bike's seat was torn, and had no handle-bars. Two
other bikes were very old, and the gears didn't work.
Other than that, everything was great. We had fun, and
thank you for the stay.

Perfect Family Get-away
Great, cozy cabin in a nice location. Dogs loved the access to Regan Beach and the spacious backyard. Plenty of room for a family of four and two large dogs. Owners were super easy to work with and responded to our questions quickly.

Comfy and Convenient
Stayed here in July 2020 and had a wonderful time with family. 6 adults and a baby plus 3 dogs and we all fit perfectly! The yard was a lifesaver for the dogs, perfect space. The hot tub was a great plus and so were the bikes (4 available for use). We could walk to Regan Beach (2 blocks away) and the downtown (casinos, etc) were a short 5-8 minute drive, perfect location! Steve & Mary were great at communicating and answering all of my questions, plus they were so detailed in their guest instructions/info, tv access, internet, fireplace etc. I’ve been to a lot of VRBO’s and none have been as smooth and organized as this one. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
