Hotel worth experiencing!

A big thank you to everyone who works at Miraflores! We had a great time, and they really made our stay feel very personal. Special thanks to Alex, operations manager who was super helpful, nice and wanted to make our stay great in any possible way that he could. Also thank you to Calvin, and all the rest of the team! Regarding the hotel, the main areas are beautiful and so is the garden. The breakfast is very nice as well! Also it is super close to some cool places for a nice sunset and a cocktail!

The rooms could have been renewed, although it is warm in the island (so we did not miss it), the water from the shower did not heat up. If you’re looking to be located in a more social environment, this is probably not your hotel- however, best sunsets from this part of the island!

Die Unterkunft war wirklich gut. Für die Umgebung auch sehr luxuriös. Ist mit dem Auto oder Taxi in 20 min. erreichbar.

Man kann bei der Unterkunft nicht wirklich baden.

Authentic, exclusive, relaxing. Highly recommend it!

Very authentic, exclusive and amazing being in the nature with these amazing views! the staff is incredible, extremely attentive and kind. Alex in particular was an absolute superstar, as well as Johanna and Dorothy. The rooms are very spacious and super clean! Being in the nature with all the animals and the beautiful trees and plants, while relaxing in the hammock… an absolute dream!!

There is nothing negative to say about this property. The only thing missing is the sandy beach you expect of the island, but it’s only a 10 minutes drive.

Las habitaciones muy lindas y cómodas, adicionalmente, el personal excepcional, super dispuesto y atento a ayudar. Está ubicado en una zona tranquila donde hay mucha naturaleza y tienen paneles solares que hace que sea un lugar sostenible. Cruzando la calle encuentras el mar pero es una zona rocosa, sin embargo, a 10 minutos en transporte están las playas de San Luis que son muy lindas

Poca iluminación nocturna y no había un camino demarcado para llegar a la habitación. El hotel es muy lejos del centro por lo que se requiere si o si alquilar un medio de transporte, porque el transporte público en la isla es muy limitado, un taxi al centro tiene un costo promedio de $50.000

Muy tranquilo el lugar y bonito

El personal es muy amable y atento, siempre dispuestos a ayudar o darte alguna sugerencia. El hotel está alejado del centro entonces es bastante tranquilo y no hay ruido. Las instalaciones son bonitas y espaciosas, hay bastante vegetación. Cerca del hotel estan todos los centros de buceo y se puede hacer kayak

Hacen falta lugares donde colocar los implementos de aseo en la ducha y el piso de la ducha es resbaloso, puede uno caerse.

Gutes Hotel, außerhalb des Touristenzentrums

Tolle Anlage, Lage außerhalb des Touristenzentrums. Man benötigt auf jeden Fall ein Motorbike (auf der Insel gibt’s keine Helme) oder einen Buggy. Alternativ kann man tagsüber auch mit dem Bus fahren. Allerdings gibt es keine festen Abfahrtszeiten. Das macht einen unflexibel. Sehr schöne Zimmer. Freundliches Personal. Ordentliches Frühstück. Gutes Essen im Restaurant (wenn auch teuer im Vergleich zu an deren Restaurants) Das Hotel bietet auch Bootstouren an. Wir haben allerdings bei einem lokalen Anbieter vor Ort gebucht, da es 50% billiger war.

Leider war die Zimmerreinigung nicht so, wie ich das von anderen Hotels kenne. Ich habe zum bsp. Ein Glas benutzt zum Aspirin aufzulösen und das wurde die ganze Zeit Woche nicht gespült. Der Pool war leider nicht wirklich sauber, daher haben wir diesen nur einmal benutzt. Wir haben an einem Abend das Essen reklamiert. Uns wurde gesagt, das uns das Gericht nicht berechnet wird. Am Ende wurde aber der volle Betrag berechnet und niemand erinnerte sich an diese Vereinbarung. Für den Preis ist auf jeden Fall noch Luft nach oben vorhanden. Aber im gesamten würde ich das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Hotels auf der Insel ist es dann doch eine Oase um zu relaxen (mit gewissen Abstrichen)

Nuestra experencia en Miraflores no pudo haber sido mejor - lo recomendamos 100%. Si estas buscando tranquilidad, descanso y buen servicio, no dudes en alojarte en Miraflores. Para destacar: el servicio desde el check in con Joana y Doroty fue muy bueno, cada detalle cuidado y pensado para hacerte sentir cómodo. La gastronomía del Chef Jesus y Jeris no tiene desperdicio - de lo mejor en la isla y el servicio brindado por Octavia y Alex en el restaurante y en el hotel para cualquier consulta durante tu estadía - fue tan impecable, de lo mejor de nuestra estadía. Las habitaciones super cómodas, limpias y lindas - descansamos mucho. Ubicación: el hotel ofrece un servicio de taxi con Nelson para que te busque en el aeropuerto - queda a 15 minutos aproximadamente. El hecho que el hotel esté alojado del centro lo hace más especial y tranquilo, cerca tienen unos barcitos con playa sin arena- pero recomendamos SI o SI alquilar un buggi (pedir que hotel te arregle el alquiler por la totalidad de la estadia. Cada dia 300,000 pes col maso o menos) o ir en colectivo público- pero es mas cómodo el buggi. Tuvimos un inconveniente con nuestro buggi y el hotel rápidamente nos lo solucionó. 💯 recomendable, gracias al gran equipo de Miraflores!

¡La mejor opción para descansar!

Definitivamente la atención de su personal: muy amables pero profesionales y con la mejor disposición para ayudar. Además, se mostraron muy comprensivos con un inconveniente por parte que la aerolínea que tuvimos a la llegada. Las instalaciones, por otra parte, son muy bonitas y limpias, están en excelente estado. Nuestra habitación era muy amplia y bien equipada.

La habitación que tomamos queda en frente de la calle y puede ser un poco ruidosa para gente de sueño ligero, aunque también tienen habitaciones un poco más alejadas.

Tolle Anlage auf San Andres!

- das Zimmer ist sehr modern und passend zur Insel eingerichtet - die Zimmer waren sehr sauber - das Frühstück war sehr lecker - der Shuttle Service vom Flughafen - Dorothy ist die gute Seele des Hause

- teilweise waren die KellnerInnen nicht sehr aufmerksam - es sind Hähne auf der Anlage, was den Schlaf etwas beeinträchtigt - der Pool ist sehr klein und müsste häufiger gereinigt werden

A beautiful haven!

What an amazing place! I would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the island. From the moment we arrived the staff were super attentive and went above and beyond! The room was beautiful - well decorated with amazing facilities (we ended up in the Garden Suite). It was magical from start to finish! They arranged bikes for us, we could have used the sea kayaks too but ran out of time.

Service could be slow but then you are on island time and it’s a good way to relax into the holiday!

La habitación con vistas al mar no merece la pena. Justo delante de la habitación está la carretera circunvalar de la isla la cual tiene mucho tráfico. Por otro lado la habitación está encima de la recepción y el lugar donde se sirve la cena y los desayunos, lo cual tampoco ayuda para una estancia tranquila. El resto de las habitaciones dan al jardín y zonas más tranquilas siendo más baratas...

Es war ein Traumhafter Aufenthalt! Alle super lieb, sauber und familiär

Super nette sehr höfliche Angestellte. Es war sehr familiär. Tolle Tierwelt. Alles sauber haben uns total Wohlgefühl. Tolle Ausstattung. In unmittelbarer Nähe ist eine tolle Bucht und traumhaftes Wasser mit Korallen und Fischen. Hatte das Gefühl im Dschungel zu Schlafen was wirklich idyllisch war. Tolle Aussicht vom Zimmer. Also wer runter kommen will ist das der richtige Ort!

A place lost in the nature to escape from the noised centre.

It is in a quiet side of the island and it is perfectly located to escape the chaos of the center and to take lessons of diving or enjoy the west part of the island.

It is 20 mins distant by scooter from the centre, which is the only place where you can find restaurants and other facilities.

The breakfast was amazing. The room was spacious. Octavia provide exceptional service. The front desk staff was always so helpful. The room cleaning was excellent our room smelt amazing everyday. They have a great taxi service (Nelson)

There was construction going on above our room ( we were in room 4) when we were there in the middle of the day it was hard to take a siesta.

Nice place

The landscape is wonderful, The structure is submerged into the nature but you have the street right at the exit from where you can catch the bus or a taxi. Team is very kind and open to help.

Some improvements are necessary in the kitchen: very slow the service, food not always high quality (fish was not fresh all the time) and the waiters could be more skilled (used to forget things or to bring things at diff time between myself and my partner).

Relationship recharge!!!

The staff were amazing. Dorothy at reception made sure we were busy with ideas for excursions. Alex always went out of his way for us. Very kind person. And Octavia was out entertainment and got everyone’s energy up.

Great hotel on a great location

The service of Daniel (the owner) and Dorothy (front desk) was exceptionel. We were not satisfied about our room (nice room, but next to the restaurant), Daniël was very flexible and client oriented. In the end we were offered an upgrade. Lovely spot on a lovely location.

Stunning garden oasis

An oasis of calm and gorgeous gardens in the overly busy San Andres. Met the owner (from the U.S.) and he told us it was 30 acres. We spent an entire morning walking around looking at all the unique plants, trees and birds on the property. We drove around the entire island (nearly twice) and this was by far the nicest hotel and property. The room was lovely, with lots of windows looking out at the stunning flowering trees, quiet and private with a wrap-around deck and hammock, and big interesting bathroom. Solar panels on roof, hot water in shower. Finally room for our suitcases, and a safe for valuables. Really liked in-room fridge stocked with white and red wine, beer, pop, water and snacks. What you used was added on at end. Made it easy to enjoy a glass of wine on the deck, at sunset, while relaxing. Wonderful, attentive and helpful staff eager to please - from concierge who greeted us at the airport (Johann) who was willing to organize anything for us including a side-by-side rental, the driver, front desk staff, restaurant manager, chef, cleaning staff, and owner himself, who happened to arrive while we were there. Personalized service extraordinaire. As the island was too busy for our liking, we spent a lot of time relaxing by the lovely quiet pool, reading, watching the birds. Sunset visible right from the hotel, ocean edge right across the road. Felt very safe, discreet fencing all around.

Wi-Fi signal weak even when right beside the router but it’s an island-wide problem. Owner aware and seeking solutions. Would like to see drinking water replenished in room fridge daily, closest place to get it other than hotel a 10-minute walk away. We had to seek it out often. It’s hot, tourists drink a lot!

Beautiful natural hotel in a quiet side of the island

The interior design and little added touches really made this stay great. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff were so friendly, especially Dorothy! I love the free shuttle the hotel put on to the town each day. Although I didn’t do the free yoga session, it looked really relaxing. The hotel is set in a nice quiet location with only 25 min walk to a Sandy beach the other side of the island (although not the best beach on the island).

I changed rooms after the first night because it was too loud situated sandwiched between the reception and kitchen (the chickens were so loud at night). BUT my second room was excellent and so quiet and the staff were really amenable. The bikes were apparently bad to use that it was recommended to rent somewhere else.
