4.5
Location, layout of townhouse, what was included in house, outside environments, styling and quietness.
The bathroom needs a little TLC, tapware, vanity top, sealing around tub.
3.5
Location of property to shopping precinct.
Spacious living and kitchen area,
Living and kitchen area was filled with natural light
Comfortable bed. (room nearest kitchen)
Laundry facilities.
Sofas could do with a proper clean so to the kitchen chairs.
Cobwebs could also be removed from rooms.
French doors lead out to the garden. BBQ on patio BUT you would not want to spend time out there for there are no plants not even a tree. Who wants to look at a colorbond fence?
Flimsy locks on french doors off living area.
On arrival the overall first impression of this single terrace is a bit disappointing. Fence is in need of a coat of paint,

We absolutely loved our stay here at YSG. So cosy and homely.

The house was lovely, bright and very comfortable - not cluttered. It was near to some nice restaurants and close to the centre of town. I would definitely stay here again.

A little further from town than we'd hoped. Too far for elderly people to walk but fine for most people

beautifully renovated period home with tasteful decor, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds

We liked the layout of the house, the central heating (which was very needed), the comfortable beds and pillows and the proximity to the town.
We were in need of a smaller cooking pot and a coffee plunger, both of which were not there. The sofa is in need of repair (cushioning support is gone).

spacious and comfortable
too many emails from YSG

Your first impression when you walk in is of a neat, clean townhouse. The bedrooms present well and the beds are professionally made with good linen. I slept in the bedroom closest to the kitchen and it was very comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen also present well and look clean. Whilst the online photos of the lovely open plan kitchen/dining/living area were different, the two armchairs and ottomans were a nice touch. This area was the feature of this townhouse, as well as the deep bath and big coffee cups.
Your Stay Group (YSG) manage this property and also about 50 others. I happened to speak with John in person on the morning I left. He was a lovely man who was most professional. Whilst I do understand that Covid makes managing accommodation very difficult with many sick staff, this place badly needs a deep clean. The everyday cleaning of this townhouse is just acceptable, however the owner needs to add some “love”. The front does not present well from the road. The front fence needs painting, there is no garden in the front except for two plants and one is half dead. The view out the back is just colorbond fencing with a dilapidated clothesline in the middle. Put in some plants, buy a proper dinner set with bowls big enough to put your pasta/soup/cereal in, get rid of the little long life milk cartons (does any body drink that stuff?), buy a collapsible dish drainer and a proper kitchen bin with a lid, get rid of the communal coffee, tea and sugar containers (not hygienic), add some nice cups and saucers and get rid of the 20 year old magazines. Cleaning the A/C return, the exhaust fan in the bathroom and the lint in the clothes dryer (fire hazard) would mean that they would work better. Maybe even add a welcome letter with instructions on the hard to open microwave and how to work the shower. Most of all, replace the flimsy locks on the back double doors (as another guest already stated) for added security. If you are just passing through for one night, these things may not bother you, however with a three night stay, they add up. (Next time I visit Orange I plan to stay next door at No.149 or No. 147, also managed by YSG but the owner has created a garden of Eden. Lots of love there.)
