Disappointing stay at the best location in Rio

The pool areas are beautiful and the Copacabana view from the restaurant area is certainly one of the best in Rio. The gym is very well equipped and clean. Staff handling luggage and at the taxi boarding area were very cordial and helpful. Had late checkout available on the date I was leaving.

The bed mattress was too soft for my liking, the pillows were too thin and the sheets had holes in them. For two days in a row our room wasn’t cleaned, despite us putting the sign at the door and calling the reception. Food and drinks were ok but extremely overpriced. Concierge wasn’t helpful at all when recommending nearby restaurants.

Boa, mas poderia ser melhor.

Cafe da manha muito bom. Apesar do restaurante lotado e tendo q esperar alguns minutos p sentar, foi muito bom n geral.

A arrumação nos quartos. Nao teve abertura de cama, e a arrumação demorou a acontecer. Tivemos q pedir isso na recepção.

Emplacement exceptionnel à cheval entre les vibrations de Copacabana et Ipanema Piscine avec vue époustouflante sur la baie de Rio Service irréprochable Suite junior avec vue à couper le souffle

Le service plage n’est pas à la hauteur et Attention aux dimensions des suites junior Il est indiqué 75 m2, mais certaines sont bien plus petites

we did not have breakfast. Perfect location. Friendly staff Very good food. Would go back again. Gym was very good and clean. First time in a Fairmount hotel

we arrived at 7h30am had to pay a charge of $200 for early check-in Hotel was half empty so rooms were available. Otherwise stay was very good

As instalações do quarto são muito boas. A cama extremamente confortável.

Escolhemos um quarto com vista para o mar e a vista era na lateral do quarto. De frente mesmo ficavam outras varandas de outros quartos.

Excellent hotel in perfect location.

Location, beach access, security, breakfast and restaurant, hair salon, room, beach facilities, lobby shops and cafe. Friendly service.

Poorly flushing toilets, the spa was nice but masseuse poor, the room service was good but a bit unpredictable.

Бассейны ну очень теплые,но в любой момент у вас есть выбор на какой пойти,так как всегда если на одном бассейне солнце,на другом точно будет тень.

Good hotel for the first stay in Rio

Th location of the hotel is great with direct access to the hotels own beach club on Copacabana. The restaurant of the 6th floor is also offers a great view but only if you sit outside. Good security system and very efficient stuff.

Coffeee at breakfast does not match the level of the hotel. Although in general breakfast is great. Also, the fact that the hotel has 2 pools does not help as both pools are no for swimming, They are far too small and you can only stay with the drink in your hand not more.

Pleasant until the money stolen

One of the cleaning staff stole $1,700 from room while we were at breakfast. Management "so sorry. We will look into it and nothing else. Very sure of this as had counted money in personal position from time taken out of bank until we went to breakfast. Asken cleaning people on floor no to go into room. When got back found a different cleaning person in the room. Case with the money had been opened as cord sticking out,

Luxurious Stay At The Fairmont

The Fairmont hotels really do pride themselves on luxury and this one in Rio topped the lot. The staff here go the extra mile for you, for example they brought around complimentary cold scented towels from the spa whilst we were sunbathing around the pool. They also gave us glasses of bubbly when walking past reception on more than one occasion, and these little touches really make the stay special. The breakfast is delicious with lots of pastries, hot dishes and fruits to enjoy whilst looking at the glorious view of Copacabana beach and Sugarloaf Mountain. These views are the best on Copacabana beach by a mile and with the pool over looking this too, you can spend all day staring at it with a delightful Pina Colada made from the bar. The rooms are very big and so are the beds, they’re extra comfy and we were actually sad to be leaving as we loved sleeping in those beds. the shower is powerful and is a waterfall style shower with lovely smelling shower gel. The smell of the hotel is amazing too, which I think is a Fairmont staple as other Fairmont hotels I’ve been to smell fantastic. I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you’re thinking of staying in Rio, with lots of things to see and do in Rio, this really is the best place to come back to everyday!

We had a perfect stay, there was nothing we didn’t like.
