Very pretty lake view house especially on the first floor. The fireplace keeps the house warm. Although we did not feed the bird and see the kangaroo, we still had a very good time. Mark is very helpful and response fast. Thanks.

We didn’t receive the password to open the door before arrived . There is no telephone reception, so we have to drove back to the where we can make phone call to ring the host . A bit frustrating. Also on second day, Wifi run out of data, we have to drove to ring the host again.
The place is good, clean and nice setting with beautiful views .

Property at a great location. It was very clean and tidy. Only issue was the lack of reception and internet, made it a bit difficult to navigate our way around the area.
Kids enjoyed the Bird Feeding experience.

Lovely property with everything you need for a homely stay. Just bring yourselves & your personal items. The location is great right on the water, fire pit to properly participate in Earth Hour and wildlife to keep a smile on your face. The King Parrots delighted us all weekend. Hosts are great too, good comms.

Had a great stay with a group of friends recently at this house.
Owner was great to deal with and answered all questions.
House was great with aircon and plenty of portable fans if needed. We only had 5 people so had a room each, but there were so many beds for larger groups, would be great for all scenarios.
The big inside and outside tables were sensational and the deck was really nice.
Lake was around 45% full, so it was a few minutes drive to the water in Taylor Bay. Owner allowed us to moor the boat to his barge, which meant could leave the boat in for the duration of the stay.
Property was quite flat compared to others in Taylor Bay so no scary driveway!
Excellent stay - happy to recommend this property!

We loved this place and we've stayed at a few houses on Eildon over the years.
We launched our boat 100 yards away with a 4wd. We were offered the use of the barge but found it easier to tether the boat to a tree and the bank. The games room was a hit with the kids with everything you'll need for wet days too. Although the lake is bellow 50% at present it was only a 5 min walk to the waters edge. The highlight however was the huge deck and the bird life. The view and large flat lawn for ball games is an added bonus.

Excellent place for a large group. Everything is well looked after and plenty of instructions. The owner even left seed to feed the very pretty parrots by hand. This was a huge hit with my niece.
We launched our boat on the way in at Jerusalem Creek to be safe and used a friends barge in Taylor Bay as a mooring point. The owner did offer for us to borrow their barge so anyone could do the same. Despite the water being lower than everyone would like we did see plenty of people launch into Taylor Bay without much drama.

For a large group, Taylor Bay House is an excellent choice. Plenty of things to do on the property, billiards room, plenty of bedrooms for all. Shame the water was down a bit from previous years, but property has access from the rear 4WD required. All basic essentials provided, along with puzzles and games for those rainy days. Taylor Bay House also has a great day boat, where you can setup your chairs etc, and moor your boat/jetski too.

Myself and a few friends used this property as a base for kayaking and fishing on the lake. The property was perfect for the weekend. The house is well equipped and has large areas for dining and relaxing. The place was clean and tidy when we arrived. The lake itself was accessible from the gate at the bottom of the property and the waters edge was only a short walk from there.

The house was great for our extended family weekend away. Heaps of space for everyone inside and out. Great deck area with water views. The house was well set up with everything we needed. The owner was great to deal with and I would book the house agin!

Great place to stay with the family with ample space for 8 people. We have stayed in previous years for 4 day week-ends but this year we stayed for 10 and it was great to really unwind and enjoy the house and the lake. The location to the lake is perfect as you are able to leave the boat in the water for the duration of your stay, it makes a huge difference.
