About this house rental

Not your typical vacation home. 2bd 2ba single level duet on Marlin Dr. Totally remodeled this home featuring quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, central A/C, spacious deck and dock . You can side tie to the 36ft dock. Side yard features putting green, outdoor TV, Lynx BBQ, 3 kayaks newer and clean patio furniture with a 10 minutes' drive to fast water. No kidding!!!
You can even paddle or boat over to the Chandlery or the Boardwalk for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Steak House is just minutes away by car also. This home offers a terrific water and hill view, but not the hot westerly sun. All cookware, towels, sheets, etc included. Wi fi internet and Xfinity TV too! Come and enjoy the Discovery Bay life. We did and that is why we bought. NOTE: this home is not your typical rental. We would appreciate it if you would take care of it like your own. We look forward to seeing you!!
NOTE: When securing a date please expect to return a short application and copy of your ID or driver's license within 72 hours. Additionally, we have a Nest doorbell and Nest rear camera facing the deck/dock. Please be aware this camera is not monitored but it does record for liability purposes.

We loved it! Beautiful view of the water. House was so completely furnished with everything you would need. Kitchen was well stocked. More spices than I have at home. Tomatoes just outside. Picked them every night for our salad. Wonderful deck to watch birds, ducks and fish jumping. Coffee every morning and dinner with sunsets every night. Had never heard of Discovery Bay but so glad we found it. We would definitely come back here.

Lovely, well appointed home right on the water. It was a great get away with family and friends! Everything you need in a kitchen, well stocked coffee bar and beautiful view. The dock was perfect for floating and friends with boats to visit. Would certainly stay here again!

This is our second time renting this home and it doesn't disappoint! The location (including incredible sunsets) is the best, especially if you have a boat. Close to the marina, excellent dock on the property. The house is stocked with everything including water toys. We were celebrating Father's Day and it was a perfect stay. We throughly enjoyed our stay and it was perfect for our needs as we visited family in the nearby area. The process was smooth from beginning to end and we truly appreciated Peter’s hospitality. Beautiful water views we will miss waking up to!

My husband and I have stayed in dozens of vacation homes since retiring 12 years ago; but this, by far, was our BEST experience to-date. The home is elegant & tasteful with plush amenities, but also very inviting and comfortable. My husband loved fishing from the dock (the dock & deck are of the finest quality). And I enjoyed the extraordinary sunsets over the water each evening - and the neighborhood, which is lovely & quiet. (It was also nice to have a full service shopping center just up the road!) The photo array can't begin to capture the charm of this property. There's a sense of peace throughout. Perfect place to relax and get away. To quote my husband: "This was a little slice of heaven, right here on earth!" We can't wait to return, and wish we could give it more than 5 stars!

We spent three days at this wonderful home in Discovery Bay. The view from the deck was outstanding and inside the house was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great area for walking and very nearby the Marina Bar and Grill. Would definitely like to visit again! Cindy H

My co-worker from Switzerland and I enjoed staying at this home while on our month long work trip . Too bad it was in yhe winter because the putside area and amenities for the lake would have been awesome to enjoy. It was just too cold. The house was perfect in all ways. It allowed us to have our own space and cooking ability unlike a hotel would have. The hosts were very quick with answering any questions. The only thing i would recommend to the owners is maybe think about tvs in the rooms . Not a complaint just a feature upgrade. Cheers

This was our 2nd stay at the property. Peter is very easy to work with. The property is well equipped and organized as well as clean. Our grandkids who live in the neighborhood enjoyed visiting and using the putting area. We look forward to future visits when visiting family.

The pictures of this property are accurate but don’t do justice to the beautiful views each morning and evening. It was extremely clean and well furnished. Peter was always very prompt with communication, and the location is ideal. Away from all the traffic, but convenient to stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

I had never heard of Discovery Bay until I started looking for places close to Brentwood where my son was getting married. I found out that two couples could stay here for less than two hotel rooms in Brentwood. This place did not disappoint. Nothing like waking up and having coffee on the deck overlooking the water. Had fun kayaking and paddle boarding too. Very clean house. Highly recommend!

My husband and I wanted a little getaway that was a short drive from home and near the water. This place delivered! The accommodations were perfect! We were right on the water with a great view, in a comfortable home that had everything we needed and more. Peter was readily accessible for any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

The three of us had a blast! Lots of paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing! Beautiful and comfortable home on the water. House was well stocked and owners are very nice and responsive! This was our second visit and we will be back again for more fun in the sun!

We received a call that we could check in early, so the trip was off to a great start. We had some friends stayed just up the block… are place was way better. The place was amazing, it was perfect for the wife and I. The biggest perk was water front and a dock for my 3 Sea Doos. We met the neighbors, very nice and welcoming. The garage was an bonus for my ski supplies. The 2 bedroom 2 bath house was updated with all the comforts of our home .The master Bed was so comfortable we’re going to contact the owners to ask what was the brand . We loved it and it had perfect living space and amazing views… we never turned the TV on! Easy water access, what else do you need. We can’t wait to return and hopefully rent the same place! We invited our parents to stay to celebrate Father’s Day and this home was perfect. Excellent location just around the bend from the marina where we dry dock our boat, beautiful home and setting on the water with amazing sunsets. All the details are covered from the fully stocked kitchen to the kayaks and paddle boards. Oh, and a little friendly competition at the putting green. We can’t wait to come back.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The house is situated on a beautiful waterway with a large deck overlooking the water. We came to California to tour the area but we found ourselves wanting to stay put as the accommodations were so nice. The house is beautifully appointed with everything you need and also very clean and comfortable. The property owner Peter was wonderful to deal with, I would not hesitate to stay here again. This home was perfect for our stay in CA. We were visiting family in nearby Brentwood and this location was only a 15 min drive. It also was convenient to do day trips to San Francisco and San Jose. In addition, the amenities at the home were a great break from going anywhere. Our granddaughters loved the kayaks and paddle boards and we enjoyed just sitting on the deck enjoying the views. The kitchen was well stocked with all cooking and serving items needed and although we didn’t use many items available like the grill it was nice to know it was available if needed. The owner Peter was also very nice to work with he called the day before our trip to personally provide checkin instructions and wish us a safe trip from Florida. We will definitely look at this property for future visits.

Nicely updated property that was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Location was perfect for us to be close to family. Spacious bedrooms and baths. Although the weather didn't cooperate for us to use the outdoor area we could see that there was an expanse deck, amble seating, a beautiful view and a bonus of a putting area. We had access to the garage to park our car which was a plus. I would recommend a stay.
