Just needed some better kitchen supplies.
Only real downside was no washer, drier or dishwasher.

Great location for both beach and shopping, comfortable house.

This house is well equipped from bottle opener to toaster oven to a clean propane grill (which I noticed that the cleaning lady checks to always make sure it's filled) to excellent AC! Really, there was nothing left to be desired...it was a perfect stay for the seven of us and with the pull-out couch then nine would have also found it very nice!
The place is 9 or 10 houses from the beach on the beach block (so no crossing busy roads for the little ones) and is just two blocks from the Crabs Claw, which IMHO is the best restaurant in Lavallette! It is also a short walk to the bay, which has tennis courts, shuffle board, basketball and crabbing/fishing.
My family has been going to Lavallette for decades and this is one of the nicest places and locations we've stayed at...Period!
It does not have a washer or dryer, but we had enough clothes so that really didn't matter. Enjoy!

The backyard is not a private backyard and the rear entrance, side yard, and driveway are essentially shared with the second home behind this home - this wasn't clear when we rented home. There is no privacy and the tenants in the second home can see you dining and using the backyard shower. During our stay, The tenants behind us also had teenage kids and they constantly walked on the shared driveway in the middle of night (and with the loose stone driveway it made it difficult to relax/sleep). If the owner is going to advertise a private yard, then the yard should be completely fenced off - we were essentially sharing a backyard space with the second home (whose entrance was directly behind our rear entrance).
The house is not "modern" as the owner's post stay follow up letter urges us to say in a follow up review and homeaway. The furniture, lamps, rugs, blinds, etc. were all old and in average to below average condition The couches in the living room were not in particularly good shape, fairly old, and had a musty smell. The beds in each room were very uncomfortable. The kitchen had a leaking ice and water dispenser and the counter tops had ants every morning. Overall, the quality of the house (specifically the interior) doesn't match the rental price.
An adjoining neighbor had parties on most nights and their very bright side and back lights lit up our bedrooms as well the children's bedrooms - making it difficult to sleep each night. The blinds were insufficient to keep the light out.
The backyard shower door was difficult to latch and the shower itself had very little pressure. The patio furniture and chairs were old and antiquated and not very comfortable.
The single toilet in the house had very little pressure and made flushing very difficulty - it seems like the pressure was turned very low or it was a low volume toilet (nevertheless, we often had to leave the toilet full because the toilet lacked the appropriate pressure to flush).
There was a single AC that was not able to cool the entire, single, floor (including the bedrooms). And the rear kitchen door did not have a screen door which made the room stuffy.
In general, we felt the house was not worth the weekly rental price. We tried to contact the owner several times after our stay with the above issues but we received no reply.

This rental is absolutely amazing! Fist time renters down the shore and my family and I enjoyed everything about our stay! Greg was so helpful and answered all of our questions before and during our stay. The house is on a beautifully located street right by the beach. So convienant with all different shops near by all walking distance. The house has everything & more that we needed to make our stay comfortable for my entire family. My son enjoyed his first birthday celebration with friends and family so much that we will def be back next year!

My family and I had the greatest week at this Lavallette vacation home. This was a spur of the moment decision so I didn't have time to visit the house in person. I was a little nervous when we arrived but I have to say it was everything they mentioned in the description. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen and bathroom were both new and also the outdoor shower. It was located in the center of town near all the great stores - B&B, Ben Franklin, Dunkin Donuts, Crab's Claw and so much more. We parked our car and walked for the week. The only time we drove was to go to the Point Pleasant boardwalk. My teenage daughter who usually is very difficult to please actually loved the house! She told me I did a great job ! We were able to walk right up to the beach with our 4 included beach badges and enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets of the bay from the enclosed front porch. The owners were very helpful and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend staying at this house again!

This home offered everything my family of 6 needed and more for our vacation at the beach. The house was very clean and well maintained as advertised by the photos and description. The house offered a brand new kitchen and spacious bathroom (inside and out). The location allowed us to park the car for the week as we were able to walk to everything (Dunkin Donuts, various ice cream parlors, and restaurants). Working with the owner, Greg was a pleasure as he is made the experience hassle free. The home came with 4 season beach passes with helped us get on the beach sooner to relax and enjoy our vacation. I would recommend this home to anyone.

This is the 2nd summer my family rented this house. The house was extremely clean, updated and had a fully equipped kitchen. This house is perfectly located to beach, shops and restauarants. We look forward to staying in this house every summer! It is by far the best rental in the shore! We are creating the best family memories here!

This is the second year that we rented this house in lavallette. Its a Great location, very close to the beach and close to all the shops in lavallette. Once we parked the car on saturday,i dont think we used it till we left. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The house is very new and updated. The backyard provide a very large table that accommadated all of us and the gas grill was new and clean. The outdoor shower really comes in handy when you return from the beach. The kitchen and bathroom were recently renovated and neat and clean. The house also has a fourth bedroom plus plenty of seating in the living room. The house is very well maintained. We will be back here for sure!

The best part of this house was most likely the location. Everything was close by. I practically didn't use my car at all once I got to the house. Walking distance to places such as dunks, rite aid, and tons of restaurants. It also did not hurt that we were steps away from the beach. The house itself was awesome. Outdoor shower was very handy and the inside bathroom was stunning. The owners, Greg and Anne, were super helpful. Answered all the questions I had before I even asked. Easy to reach just in case. Great people. I would highly recommend this rental to any family.
