Hotel con instalaciones y servicios de 3 estrellas, pero precio de 4 (incluso para ser Viena)

La ubicación del hotel es buena, cerca del centro y de la estación de tren. Desayuno normal.

La categoría de 4 estrellas es excesiva, para las instalaciones del hotel. Quizás lo fue en su día, pero ahora está anticuado, obsoleto, y necesitado de una reforma en profundidad. La habitación no es confortable ni amplia.

Hervorragendes Frühstück. Schöne Zimmer. Sehr sauber. Edle Ausstattung. Freundliches Personal. Authentisches Wiener Restaurant. Pluspunkt: kleine Aufmerksamkeit an meinem Geburtstag. Starke Empfehlung!

Einziger Nachteil: zwei kleine Matratzen anstelle einer Grossen.

Quiet, comfortable stay

In the city of Vienna while still very quiet and not far from the city center. The breakfast is very nice and has a variety of fruit and veges. Rooms are spacious and quiet. We rested very well.

Ottimo hotel, molto confortevole

Posizione "tattica" vicina alla U-Bahn e comunque a pochi minuti a piedi dal ring, l'albergo è risultato molto tranquillo e silenzioso. Lo staff è stato gentilissimo e molto efficiente nell'assistermi durante un piccolo problema di salute che, purtroppo, è capitato durante il soggiorno. Camera molto pulita e confortevole, in cui non mancava veramente nulla. Colazione varia e di qualità molto buona.

Charming Vienna Hotel

The hotel had old world charm with a direct link to Vienna's Habsburg past. We took advantage of the easy access to the world class Vienna subway system to immerse ourselves in the city attractions. The breakfast offering was extensive. In addition, the hotel restaurant was a surprising bonus with a most gracious waiter. We highly recommend this hotel.

La atención del personal, todos fueron muy amables y dispuestos a aclarar cualquier duda, el desayuno excelente, las instalaciones del hotel muy bien, aunque es un edificio antiguo esta muy bien conservado, nuestra habitación muy cómoda, la ubicación excelente.

Amazing breakfast, the best location to stay when visiting Vienna.

Amazing breakfast. When it rained they gave us umbrellas to use no charge. Printed all the papers we needed no charge. The staff is super nice.

Room key policy - you must give back and take away the key every single time you leave the hotel. Lobby is not suited to reading or chilling or basically anything. No ironing service on weekends.

Close to all attractions

Close to the city center. It has a restaurant so if you arrive late you can have a quick dinner. It has an elevator so do not have to carry bags in the stairs.

I asked for a quiet room as the hotel has one side on the street with the tram. I was told I can have a quiet one for axtra 10euro. It was already too expensive for what it offered but really needed a good sleep. But the good sleep never came as the pillows are crap and the mattress was way to hard for my back. And, for breakfast included option if you want an omlette or fried eggs you pay extra.

Great location in a nice area with friendly staff

Great staff, excellent location and very ample breakfast.

Room was a bit small but adequate. A rubber mat in the bathtub would make it safer when entering and getting out from taking a shower.

Excellent stay in Vienna

Lovely old fashioned hotel with helpful professional staff. Comfortable room with lots of space. Comfortable bed. Good Wifi. Good access to public transport.

There were quite a few steps between the entrance and the tiny lift which makes it difficult if you have mobility issues. The public areas were small (and there was a large noisy English group crowding these areas on the last day of our stay). Breakfast was indifferent. Restaurant always fully booked in the evenings.

Overall I enjoyed it, it could have been better.

I liked the location, the breakfast was nice. The room depends on how you make your reservation. I decided not to prepay and pay until I was there. We travelled with friends who did prepay and the difference for the 4 nights was around 250 euros which was allot. My friends got an outside remodeled room whilst we got an inside un-remodelled room with a separate toilet and older beds. It makes for an interesting stay since the hotel has allot of history.

Since I did not prepay we got a room facing the "courtyard" if you can call it that. The room had the toilet in a separate location but still within the room, separate from the shower and the sink. I took it up with the manager, Ricardo, and he was reluctant to make changes arguing that our room was older but better. The newer rooms are facing the street, remodeled with modern bath accessories and very comfortable beds. At the end they did make it right but it took some arguing which I do not like doing on my vacation. Parking was separate and I had to pay around 29 euros a night.

Quiet, convenient, clean.

Great location. Very professional staff. Rooms were very quiet. The breakfast was excellent.

There was an outlet that didn’t work and it took a couple of days and mentions to different staff to get it fixed.

Superb stay in Vienna

Room with good size, superb breakfast,location is close to public transport and downtown. Many shops around. Proffessional and polite staff and offcourse , well kept historical building.
