So etwas erlebt man wirklich selten .

The room was modern and clean, we had a balcony which was spacious. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious, great coffee as well! There was evening entertainment by a local band on different locations throughout the resort almost every night with a different vibe. The cocktails served in every bar were very well made and the different restaurants offered great dinner buffet for 35€ per person! We were especially impressed by the newly open La Casa del Massaro Restaurant which served local Sicilian dishes in an elegant, candle-lit setting. Loved the olympic pool for recreational swimming! The staff at the reception and the concierge services were super friendly and helpful.
The private beach comes at an additional price of around 20€ per person per day, which kinda beats the point of staying at a hotel with a private beach. We expected it to be free for the hotel's guests. Also there are tons of mosquitos in the evening and early morning - this ruined some of our evenings where we tried to enjoy a cocktail at one of the bars but it was made impossible so we had to return to our room early. There was a "disinsectation" announced on our last day but I think that should be done more regularly to ensure pleasant stay for the hotel's guests. Also be prepared that the bed mattresses are exceptionally firm so if you aren't used to that you might wake up with a lot of back pain!

Great hotel, everything very clean and well kept, helpful staff, enjoyed the Olympic size pool, gym, direct beach access, evening entertainment. Also possibility to play tennis, table tennis, etc. Good base to visit Taormina and Etna.

Location, readiness of staff to support
Low quality of breakfast, not even make us trying other meals. We simply dining outside. Huge noise up to the 0.30 AM every day, so called entertainment.

Great pool, very helpful staff, nice beach, good breakfast, small but adequate gym.
We were able to get a spot on the 'free' part of the beach but would not have been happy if we'd had to have paid more on top of the hotel costs!

The Facilities are old. To high price for it.

The swimming pools and children's entertainment are good. Beach is not sandy and very difficult to get in and out of the sea. Its not shallow and goes deep very quickly. Not for children.
Dated hotel. Uselss lifts. They are really small and regularly get stuck. It's really poor food, especially in the pool bars. The area around Gardina Naxos is very run down and dirty. If you are adults only stay in Toramina.

I liked everything and the food was better than expected for an all inclusive hotel. Most certainly we will return.
Nothing in particular. Everything was better than expected.

It's quite an unusual type of resorts (for Sicily), more typical for 'All-Inclusive' locations like Greece or Turkey. It defines its "all in" concept: everything a tourist may need during the vacation, can in theory be found inside the resort, without even leaving its territory once. So it's definitely a 'pros' for those who prefer this kind of holidays and don't plan any active program (which would be strange, though, considering the region in which it's situated). And by our observations and surprisingly for us, there've been the majority of such people arriving by buses.
The territory of the hotel is big, with lots of things to do, especially for the children: there's lot of entertainment for them. The cottage rooms feel (and look) quite old and used - initially we even considered asking for a replacement, but found out that they're all like that. But otherwise, they're quite big and comfy - we only wish there was more light inside and better views outside.
The cuisine is OK quality, although lacks variety, especially for the breakfast. But the good thing is that drinks (water and wine) are included in the dinner unlike at the majority of other hotels in Italy. There're several restaurants available in different parts of the resort, so despite huge number of guests it never really felt crowded.
Finally, the beach is super nice - but credit here goes to the nature, not to the hotel :)
As a summary, it's a good resort for spending time with the family, but it would hold higher value if it only consisted of the cottage accommodation types, without the main building...
Although the beach itself is nice, its organization by the hotel is not. There're a lot of loungers/umbrellas, but they need to be reserved - and the majority are for extra price (what?? I already paid ~300 EUR for a night for the family - and you're asking extra 20-30 EUR for an umbrella like on some public beach?). Yes, to be fair there's also an area with 'free' umbrellas that are 'included' in the stay. But there's a few 'but's. First: you need to reserve them. Can be done at a single entry point, which creates a loooong waiting line. Very uncomfortable especially in the sun. The family might already be swimming for 10-15 minutes before I finally get a place under umbrella. And second: surprisingly for us, even despite arguably not so nice weather during our stay, the front rows in that free area were always fully booked. But - they remained empty for the whole days that we were spending at the beach. So why do you block them? And why not do like at all proper resorts, on the first come - first served basis? Would be much more fair.
As already mentioned in the part about the rooms, they feel quite old and weary, not in their best condition. So perhaps some renovation is required soon. Only the cottages closest to the sea appear to be relatively new and have bigger (taller) windows letting in more sunlight. However, despite our pretty early reservation (almost half a year before the travel), we were told that all rooms in those bungalows have been booked because of the busy time. Not sure if it's true. No, I'm sure - it's not true. So it didn't feel nice that we were put in the 'old' part despite our early reservation.
And this leads to the main 'cons' part. The hotel feels overpriced - for the value you get. Maybe we're spoilt by some other countries or destinations, not sure.

The hotel was very stylish with excellent facilities. The hotel beach was just perfect and very relaxing. The best feature of the hotel were the staff who were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Hope to make a return visit some day.

Location. Room (excluding bathrooms).
Generally feels very dated, lots of tired and unused areas. There are no water sports, despite them being advertised. Bathrooms are very dated. The beach had noisy heavy machinery digging up the beach the whole time we are there so impossible to relax. Waited 30 minutes for someone to collect me and my baggage take it to my room despite reminding them twice. They hosted an external party and had extremely load music going until 11pm.
