Habitaciones amplias y cómodas, al igual que los colchones de cama estupendos

Deben arreglar el sistema de A/A lo antes posible en alguna habitación que fallaba, de todas formas nos dieron otra donde funcionaba.

Meh - just about passable for a one night stay.

The guy at check in was very nice and friendly.

The breakfast was pretty bad - don't waste your money and go out instead. The location is quite far from the points of interest, not well located unless you have a car as public transport in the area is not great. The room/bathroom was not very clean at all. The hallways and room smelled of smoke despite being a nonsmoking hotel. The staff at breakfast were quite rude. Facilities are very basic and some quite outdated.

Repetiria sin duda!

La habitación muy amplia, cómoda y limpia, además habia todos los objetos para el aseo. La cama también era cómoda! La cafetería de al lado muy buen servicio y muy amables.

La calefacción estaba algo alga de más para nuestro gusto cuando llegamos a la habitación.

The experience at the hotel was overall very good.

I liked the space and the cleanness of the room.

We didn't have breakfast but my wife and I wanted to have just coffee, we asked if we can have coffee at the dining room table but the person at the register didn't allow it, he brought us coffee at the lobby table though, it was a good gesture but uncomfortable, It would be good if the hotel had an area where you can enjoy a cup of coffee as an option.

Not worth the price

The hotel room is quite big and clean. The staff is very polite and gentle. There is a paid parking at the hotel (but very old).

I only stayed at this hotel because of the Melia brand, but did not see why it is a Melia hotel. The hotel is very old and needs an urgent refurbishment. The room does not have a Smart TV and the air conditioner was not working very well. The space is not cosy at all. Also, you need to walk 20 minutes to the historic centre. For the price we paid, I would expect a much better place.

A hot box

The breakfast was good. There was no beverage facities in the room. There are only expensive vending machines in the foyer. Very very disappointing having to carry numerous drinks etc. in lifts and along corridors and trying to open room doors - totally unsuitable and dangerous...and the drinks were awful and expensive.

This hotel advertises air conditioning. According to a member of staff, it is the hotel policy that the air con will only work when the outside temperature is above 24 degrees. This policy is flawed as the hotel walls absorb heat all day and release it into the rooms at night. So because the outside temperature at night is below 24 degrees, the air con wiil not work and the room is extremely hot and will remain hot as concrete releases heat very slowly! Opening the window does not help because there is no air flow through the room and so the hot air is trapped inside the room. The temperature on the corridor was much cooler than inside the room, so we kept the door and the window open for a few hours to try and cool it down. People who were passing our room to get to theirs, were looking inside our room, which was very uncomfortable, but we could not stand the heat in the room. At midnight, we were so tired that we had to shut the door and the window to try and sleep. We did not want the noise from the outside to disturb any sleep we might get. The walls were still releasing their heat from the daytime and the room became an oven. It was like torture, because we could see the air con unit and we could move the switch to 'on' but it would not work because of the flawed company policy of using the outside temperature to make it work, instead of the inside temperature, which is how air con should be used. I do hope this hotel takes notice of someone who has been a heating engineer for a number of years on how to use air con. Please note - using this method as an excuse for being more environmentally friendly does not work - the main priority of a service industry is to make customers happy and generate more business and revenue. Keeping customers locked in hot concrete boxes does not make them happy! Find another way to reduce your carbon footprint!
