Nada de especial, apenas bem localizado

Bom pequeno almoço, com muita variedade.

Quarto de boas dimensões, mas cama muito mole, com cova. Casa de banho adaptada com chuveiro ao lado da sanita com aspecto velho. Bancada da wc quase inexistente. Limpeza deixou a desejar, chão cheio de riscos de sapatos ou malas?

Outstanding

Amazing view from the Superior room over the river Ölfusá, the mountain, the church and the bridge into Selfoss. Wonderful breakfast, friendly staff and a fantastic stay, can't wait to return.

Undrinkable sulfur water and bad breakfast. Sad time in Selfoss

The water smelled like sulfur and the breakfast a Was very low quality. We did not eat the free breakfast due to it just being demolished by the time we arrived to breakfast.

The tap water tasted and smelled like sulfur. The shower smelled like sulfur. I understand your location may effect the water quality but you need to offer free purified water to guests if this is the case.

Great place to stay to visit the gold ring and the inlands. Clean and confortable quiet rooms.

The Sellfoss hotel is well located. Close to everything walking distance. The room we got was big and clean. The parking was included free of charge and there is and EV charger as well, which was very convenient for us. Overall, we liked our stau at the Sellfoss hotel.

The beds matresses were not that great (too soft) but this could be just our preferences.

Todo genial. Ubicación, limpieza, instalaciones… además, cerca de varias zonas donde comer algo, y dar un paseo. También me pareció que Selfoss es una buena ubicación para ver auroras boleares, por lo que el hotel está bien situado para moverse por los alrededores

Zu teuer, mit schlechtem Frühstück und unpersönlich.

Frühstück war mehr wie einfach gehalten. Die Lage war gut, so dass man das Abendessen außerhalb einnehmen kann.

Personal war leider nicht besonders, insbesondere die Dame am Empfang. Betten waren nicht toll und die Zimmer sehr einfach gehalten, so dass das Preisleistungs-Verhältnis nicht gut war.

Byly jsme moc spokojené, mohu jen doporučit.

Krásné ubytování v moderním hotelu. Skvěle místo s výhledem, klidná lokalita, naproti skvělá restaurace a prochazka městem v ideální vzdálenosti,obchod i benzinka hned u nosu. Wake up služba na auroru je skvělá ! Snídaně bohaté i s možnosti bezlepkové pečiva.

Ottima soluzione in centro a Selfoss

Hotel moderno e molto bello in centro a Selfoss, camera molto spaziosa, bagno grande e colazione eccellente. Parcheggio comodo fuori dalla struttura, gratuito per gli ospiti dell’hotel. A pochi passi a piedi tanti posti dove mangiare e un supermercato

Excellent and beautiful

In example order, the breakfast was excellent, it was a great buffet and you just helped yourself. The staff were lovely and it was a great way to start the day. We had the riverside room and it was gorgeous, we were in awe when we first walked into the room. The beds were comfy the room was spacious and we loved being there. The location is fantastic, right in the centre of Selfoss. There are some lovely walks around the hotel and is close to all the best eateries, the staff helped us with finding the northern lights, and they were always polite and friendly. From the moment we arrived, we loved it, and we want to return to Iceland. So, we will gladly return.

BEWARE OF HIDDEN CHARGES

Good rooms, clean but with hidden charges

We booked a room with a free stay for a child up to 16 years old. When we got there we got charged another extra 8000 isk for an extra bed. At no point we were warned of this extra charge, not when I booked and paid, never. Only when we got there they say it was free if he slept in the bed with the parent (??), but even then the bed was already there, it wouldn't have been an option.

Yndisleg dvöl í rólegur umhverfi á besta stað í bænum.

Hótel Selfoss er mjög vel staðsett í hjarta bæjarins. Morgunverðurinn var góður og útsýni úr herberginu var frábært.

Ein lyfta fyrir allt húsið og stundum bið eftir henni.

Very pleasant!

Love the location. Breakfast is lovely and room comfortable. Desk staff is welcoming and friendly. Easy to park, too!

When I was in Selfoss with my wife in June our room had a river view. This time I was looking over the front of the building toward the parking lot. Not so much to look at on that side.

Old worn hotel needs updating

Location and view from room

Elevator broken, spa sauna not working, room old and not up to date, cracks in ceiling, chips on bathroom counter, peeling pain on balcony roof. Shower was tiny, barely fit in!

Larger room; convenient

Only stayed one short overnight so cannot give exceptional review as we were only there to sleep five hours; was clean, which is important; had a good breakfast included; rooms were large which was good - slept 3 easily on two twins and a pullout (pullout was tough to sleep on); good location with a gas, shops, and restaurants walkable

Clean, comfortable beds, nice view towards the river, good buffet breakfast was included and the price was reasonable.
