Our party consisted of two family's, which the villa suited perfectly.
Beautiful area, very private and peaceful. The village has a small shop with a cafe attached. There is a winery which serves meze, we didn’t try this as we had young kids who are fussy eaters. There is a great taverna, with the most beautiful views. Argostoli is only 15 mins by car and a must visit, so beautiful.
The villa is beautiful, great layout. All needs catered for. Most of our time was spent outside in the beautiful pool and relaxing on the sun loungers. There’s lots of pool toys for the kids which was perfect.
Great communication on the run up to the holiday, very responsive. A lovely welcome hamper which was great as we arrived fairly late and it meant we didn’t have to venture out to shops. Mike visited the next day, he messaged first. Mike is such a fantastic host, loads of great advice around places to eat and visit. All his recommendations were brilliant.
You will need a car, Mike recommended a fab car hire, it was the easiest car hire we’ve ever used. Again great communication. If you have young kids a really good day out is the water park at Lixouri. You take the car ferry from Argostoli, which runs every 20 mins all day, every day. Very efficient and only takes around 15/20 mins to cross. The water park has 5 slides and a lovely pool area with plenty of sun beds. We didn’t eat at the park, we took a short stroll to the beach and ate at the taverna, which was lovely.

Beautiful villa, pool and garden. Really well equipped. Our host Mike was attentive, friendly and informative about everything we needed to know for our first stay in Kefalonia. Added bonus were some local well behaved cats who made us feel at home. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back.

From start to finish our stay at this villa was just perfect. It is stunning and is positioned in such a lovely position within walking distance to a beautiful beach and lovely village tavernas. The views are breathtaking. Mike has made sure your stay at the villa is as comfortable as possible, with everything catered for. Was a great size for 6 adults with loads of room and to have two separate floors with kitchens in each was great for all to spread out. We made good use of the wonderful pool and bbq. This villa is the perfect sanctuary to return when visiting surrounding areas in Kefalonia or to just stay put. It definitely lives up to all expectations. Book it! You really will have a wonderful time here. We did and were all sad to leave. Thanks Mike, and for the car ride back to the airport for some of our party!

Fantastic, well equipped Villa on two levels- ideal for two families to share with independence. Beautiful quiet setting and gorgeous garden. BBQ and Pool were spot on (with plenty of sun beds!). Air conditioning was a godsend as were comfy beds. Enjoyed having a choice of areas to sit and eat or relax with a drink in the evening- fantastic view from balcony towards the sea and Zante. Owners Mike and Eileen very helpful during booking and again once we were there; leaving a beautiful full welcome baskets of treats and great recommendations for restaurants to visit and best supermarkets etc. Highly recommend and would love to return.

Peaceful, beautifully clean and very comfortable. I have never stayed somewhere where the kitchen was so well equipped. The welcome basket was amazingly generous and the stocked wine rack meant we could try local wine before buying which was great.
Only a couple of negatives for us. We didn’t like the six cats that invaded us so we couldn’t keep any doors open. Not feeding them made no difference. While the walk down to the nearest cove was short, taking 18 mins, there are 118 steps down to it and it took much longer to walk back up the hill. We didn’t find anywhere to eat that was walkable open so car essential. It was particularly peaceful as the neighbouring villa was empty. If it had not been the proximity of others might have impinged.

The villa was very spacious and well equipped, idea for a party of 4 couples. The pool was a very good size and beautifully lit in the evening and there was more than enough outside space for everyone in a very pretty garden. The location was ideal for the south coast of the island with beaches, shops etc a short drive away.
The host was very approachable, generous and full of helpful suggestions to make our stay perfect. We would certaintly look to return to this property on our next visit to kefalonia.

Communication with the owner, Mike was fantastic from the moment we booked. Mike met us at the villa the day after we arrived welcoming us to the villa and making sure we had everything we needed. He gave us some great recommendations for days out and places to eat! He was available throughout our stay if we needed anything at all, nothing was too much trouble for him. The villa is so well equipped, it has everything anyone could need and more. (Including adapter plugs, beach towels etc). The villa is beautiful, with loads of room for the 7 of us that stayed. The pool is wonderful and there are enough inflatables for everyone to be happy! The area is stunning, I’ve never seen water so clear. We had such a wonderful holiday and the villa was the perfect base for us to explore the area and relax. If we return to Kefalonia this would be my number one place to stay. I would highly recommend Mike’s villa to anyone visiting the island. Perfect!

Gorgeous, clean villa
I can't rate this villa, and Mike, the owner, highly enough. The villa is clean and gorgeous. The pool is perfect, and the air conditioning works really well. The villa is equipped with everything you could need, and Mike was instantly contactable and really helpful. He even came to the airport to meet us at 11pm so he could guide us to the villa in the dark. there are some lovely restaurants in the area, and perfect snorkelling and swimming beaches within a 5 or 10 minute drive. if you are considering Kefalonia, and this villa, you really couldn't do much better. The perfect holiday and reset after this last 18 months!

Perfect villa for our family
Due to Covid we were very nervous about travelling to Kefalonia. Mike gave us more time to cancel if need be and we were guaranteed 100 percent cancellation fee back if we didn’t go. We didn’t need this and carried on with our plans and we did not regret it. We were there to celebrate my Fathers 80th and we had the most fantastic time. Villa was clean and comfortable, pool was perfect. We loved Kefalonia. Location was great.

Perfect for a relaxing family holiday
We had a lovely, relaxing holiday at the end of August in Villa Kallisto.
The villa itself is in great condition, it is full of modern fixtures and fittings with lots of furniture available. The location is beautiful and is not full of other tourists, it is a quaint little village which is exactly what we wanted. The views from the upstairs balcony are to die for, Mount Ainos on one side and views over the Zakynthos on the other!
Prior to arrival Mike and Eileen were both excellent to deal with and were quick to respond to any queries we had, which there were a few! They also gave us some recommendations on restaurants (The Olive Lounge is stunning) and advised we should hire a car, which we did and would also recommend others to do.
The little sandy cove at the bottom of the hill at Pessada was beautiful with crystal clear water and some great snorkelling round by the marina.
The pool was a good size and well maintained, we had trouble getting the kids out of it! It was cleaned midweek during our stay too which was nice. We enjoyed using the BBQ area to eat on a couple of nights too.
I could go on and on about what a lovely time we had but all in all if you are looking to book this villa, just do it, you won't regret it.

The Perfect Getaway
The property was perfect for our large group that included both adults and children. The house was comfortable, in a great location and the hosts great to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Weeks stay from 23rd -30th June
Lovely Villa which accommodated 4 couples easily. The 2 separate apartments were well equipped with everything you need. The linen was changed during the week , but one bedroom was missed with replacement bath towels and mat. We visited the Sunrise Taverna which is a 15 min walk down to where the daily ferry crosses to Zante . It’s a basic menu, but cooked fresh and very friendly staff. We also ate at the Olive Grove which was delicious. This taverna was near to the castle, about a 10 min drive. We had 2 cars to explore the island, and visited Asos (highly recommended) such a pretty village and then we went onto Fiskardo and ate by the sea front . There are a couple of supermarkets nearby for your provisions and Agristoli is a must for a visit to see the turtles feeding from the fisherman early morning, which is also where we brought some fish for our BBQ. Would definitely return .

Perfect villa for our family of 4 adults and 3 small children, Pesada is a very quiet place which is exactly what we wanted, no hustle and bustle just peace and quiet and beautiful views, we hired a car incase we needed anything and had a couple of days exploring the island but most of our time was spent in the villa which has everything you could wish for, very well equipped and beautifully kept, the owners mike and Eileen were brilliant they helped us out with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this villa and will be staying again in the near future.

Amazing family holiday
This was our second stay at Villa Kallisto and we were not disappointed!
Myself, partner and our 2 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed a lovely week late September. The villa was again beautifully clean, well equipped and the weather was amazing. We visited last year in May and enjoyed the villa and the island so much that we decided to come back in September. The weather was even better than in May and our daughter loved the pool that much we had trouble getting her out!!
It was really nice to find that Argostoli had a new addition at the lagoon - pedal car boats!! These were great and so much fun with our daughter. We also stumbled across a children's fun fair which had so many rides and activities for toddlers - our daughter had such a fun time - highly recommend if you have a little one!
The grounds and views at Villa Kallisto are beautiful and you can tell that the owners Eileen and Mike take a lot of pride in their wonderful home - so thank you again to them both for sharing this with us.
We would highly recommend the Villa and are even thinking of booking for a third time next year.

Perfect family holiday in beautiful surroundings
we stayed in villa Kallisto in September and it couldn't have been more perfect . First holiday with our 3 month old daughter , I was obviously a little nervous. But the villa had everything we needed an more . From a mothercare travel cot , brand new high chair and even a steriliser provided for us . The villa is so well equipped , everything has been thought of . There was even a bath ( not just a shower ) which with a baby is fantastic . The villa it's self was spotless and felt very luxurious . The pool was also spotless and was cleaned on a couple of occasions during our stay . There's nothing negative I could say bout this villa . It's in a great location , so quite and private but still everything you could need in a close distance . As the villa is split into 2 separate villas , it would be perfect for 2 family's holidaying together but you still get your own space . Will definitely be back. And thanks to Mike & Eileen for helping sort out a car seat with the hire car for us . Made everything so easy :-)

Wonderful holiday in gorgeous Villa Kallisto.
We stayed in Villa Kallisto recently and had a lovely holiday. There was me and my husband, our daughter her husband and toddler and our son and his wife. The villa had everything you could think of and was beautifully clean. The fridge was stocked with the essentials, butter, bread, juice etc when we arrived and the car hire we booked through Eileen and Mike went very smoothly with us picking the car up at the airport. The was a big Lidl and Carrefour supermarket within a 10 minute drive so we did a huge shop and bbqd most evenings. The pool was clean and was cleaned mid week too. We had asked for a highchair which was not there but we emailed and within an hour a lady turned up and brought in a brand new one which was locked in the outhouse in the garden. Pessada is so quiet you could hear a pin drop and the walk down to the port to see the ferry come in and have a drink in the little tavern is recommended. We swam off the rocks in the clear blue sea. I would highly recommend the villa and the communication with the owners was brilliant. You would definitely need a car as there is nothing in the village but for us that was the appeal as we all wanted a restful holiday which was exactly what we had. We have been to Kephalonia a number of times it is such a beautiful island. Many thanks to Mike and Eileen for letting us stay in their lovely villa.

One word,, Stunning!
Stunning villa, absolutely masses of room, fully fitted kitchen , upstairs and downstairs, brilliant views, when eating out on the balcony , what I love is how adaptable, it is, if your a family with children , it's fine , if it's a group, you can have the privacy, or with your older parents, it covers all aspects, we travelled all over the island to the tavernas, the castle family run restraunt is a must! Everyone is so friendly , food is the best , and also get "treats " when you leave , we got home made marmalade, and treats after your meal, strawberry , dipped in white chocolate, day after , home made ice cream, went beaches, went into fiscado, went to the monastery, went to Denises, would definetly recommend to friends and family , well done Eileen & mike , (owners) your doing a brilliant job, also recommending where to go places to see, hiring a car, beaches, and tavernas , downside was coming home, but will definetly be back, the Greeks are so pleasant ,

Couldn't Have Been More Perfect for our Party of 8!!!
Thank you, Mike and Eileen for, sharing your wonderful house with us. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about it - it is spacious, sunny, tastefully decorated, comfortable, well-equipped, etc. The layout gave our party of eight a lot of space for privacy if we should choose, but also a lot of space in which to spend time together. We were fortunate to have our own private chef with us (my husband was a chef before becoming a baker) so we took full advantage of the kitchens, the great barbecue, the meat market on the way to Argostoli and the fish market in Argostoli. After sea kayaking all day, it was really nice to cool off in the pool with a glass of rose while dinner was being prepared! We appreciated the thoughtful welcome package, and the use-and-replace wine arrangement - it simplified our evening arrival to the island after 26 hours of travel. I highly recommend this house and would love to be able to come back to it some day. (I only have one complaint - we tried multiple times, but we never did find the access to the secluded sandy beach!! We finally saw it from our kayaks, but would like to have seen it from land! Oh well, we got to enjoy a lot of other beaches, and our ever elusive beach gave us something to joke about!)

Fabulous facilities and lovely location
Dear Eileen and Mike, a very warm thank you .My family (7 of us) had a wonderful time at your lovely villa. It met all our expectations, there was everything we could possibly need to make a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The directions from the Airport to your villa were easy to follow and all instructions were clear and concise regarding your villa. We were met by Kim who gave us lots helpful advice on places to visit and where to eat. We managed to cram in lots during the 7 days. However we could not do everything we wanted to so, Beth and I will be back to visit the island on our own, and hopefully for a longer period.
I have no hesitation what so ever in strongly recommending anyone to stay at your lovely villa. Thank you from Nick and Beth Trantham and family.

A wonderful time was had by all!!
Thank you Mike and Eileen for letting us rent your fabulous Villa. It met all of our expectations and more! We were really able to relax in great surroundings and have lots of fun in the pool. As we'd hired cars we were able to have some great days out at Fiskardo, Assos, Skala, and Sami (we really loved Agia Efimia just outside Sami). And found some great beaches (our favourite was Antisamos). Lots of nice local taverna's meant that we ate and drank well. Kefalonia is such a beautiful island that we can't wait to go back. Fabulous location and villa
We were a large family party - all with different requirements and the villa met all of our needs. It was spacious, comfortable, very clean and suitably sound proofed for the older members of the party! The kids delighted in the TV and DVD, the adults enjoyed how well equipped the villas were and we all loved the pool and the views. The welcome pack and the 'drink and replace' wine arrangement was most welcome, particularly on the first day after a very early flight!

Our lovely stay at Villa Kallisto
We have not long returned from a week with friends at this beautiful villa. We arrived on the island to glorious weather, always a bonus. Our hire car was waiting for us at the airport and we where soon on our way to the villa via the easy to follow directions. The roads are virtually car free and easy to navigate.
The villa is amazing, the high standards of the fixtures, fittings and furniture are evident and everything for a pleasurable stay has been thought of. There is a wonderful BBQ and we used this twice buying meat from a local butcher and groceries and drinks from a nearby supermarket.
The views from the villa are beautiful with the mountains to one side and behind,and Zante can be seen across the sea from the upstairs balcony.
Mike and Eileen the owners have thought of everything, even providing games, books and a DVD player with a great selection of movies.
The pool area is charming with colourful flowers in the well stocked gardens that gave a wonderful scent especially in the evening. The pool was lovely and warm and we made full use of the inflatables that are provided.
Eileen and Mike have provided two books with tourist information, they are full of suggestions for places to visit and directions to local tavernas. We can honestly say that Kefalonia and the Villa Kallisto are both charming and beautiful and well worth visiting and I can recomend this beautiful Villa to anyone.

Superb !
We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight in the sun at Villa Kallisto.The villa was beautiful-spacious,spotlessly clean,excellently equiped and brilliantly located.All the people who look after the villa are very helpful and efficient which made our holiday stress-free.The pool is lovely and big and our teenagers loved it.They also appreciated the big T.V and DVD selection.
We loved the tranquil location down the private road and the fact that the idyllic local beach was just a short walk from the villa.We were lucky enough to witness turtles hatching and making their way down to the sea which was amazing for all of us.
We liked the fact that Argostoli with its busy sea front and lively resaurants and shops was so near,yet the villa itself was such a haven of eace and relaxation.
We would like to say a big thank you to Mike and Eileen for their excellent pre-holiday information and communication.It really helped us get the most out of our stay on Kefallonia,further enhancing what was a truly superb holiday.

Just back from a wonderful holiday on the beautiful island of Kelalonia.
The villa has everything you could possible need. The views from the villa are stunning and I really felt it was home from home. The pool was stunning and it was was so nice after being out for the day to come back and have a refreshing swim. We hired cars for the two weeks and found plenty to do and see. The villa is in a very relaxing position, away from everything, just what the doctor ordered. We found the villa to be very clean. The caretakers, cleaners and gardeners were all very pleasant and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to Mike & Eileen for letting us have a piece of heaven for two weeks.
