Amazing staff, beautiful property and room, clean with everything you need, and fantastic food! Truly an oasis in the city!!

The breakfast was made to order with lots of choices served indoors or outdoors depending on weather and your preference. Delicious coffee. Our tour prior to staying here was more instant coffee options. There are 2 other places to eat on the property and the breakfast location is also an Italian restaurant later in the day with a wood burning oven. Monique’s is a little taste of Paris in India. The property is a quiet oasis from the busy, noisy, chaotic streets of Delhi. The residential neighbourhood is walkable and the staff willing to help with anything you desire.
There wasn’t any comfortable seating outside to lounge, read a book. The only seating outside was associated with the restaurants. There are paving stones under a terrace around one edge of the green grass but no seating? The grass area is quite large, but had signage to keep off. Could the area be used for a small pool? A plunge pool or a lap pool with lounge seating? Hours of operation considerate to quiet morning’s and evening’s?

beautiful villa very well maintained in a peaceful neighborhood in New Delhi. Staff is very nice and helpful and the restaurants inside are very good, we tried Camillo’s and the pizza was outstanding (we are Italian!). we also had a Spritz at the Inja restaurant bar which was perfect!

I have been very pleased of Mr Deepak at the reception desk and his team running the place with such a sens of being welcoming and accommodating. They did their very best to answer to my few requests. We were expecting a renewed hotel as it is mentioned on the website but arrived in a "work in progress" hotel. For sure the part already done is really beautifully realised, the materials, the style, everything has been thought. Sadly, no gym, no nice outdoor seatings and the felling to be in the middle of renovation is not the best. I would love to go there again but need to be sure the work is done and not in progress anymore.
By the way, the breakfast area and food are really high level and anyone of the staff is nicely friendly and very helpful.
I understand low season is the moment to update an hotel but that was more than updates... Facilities not accessible, beautiful corners with a "work in progress" background...
Mr Deepak made is very best but I would appreciate the management at least to say hello when meeting in corridors and probably give some explanation about the situation rather than ignoring the guests!
This place has such a potential but clearly need someone with a sens of hospitality to manage it.

I have wanted to stay at The Manor for a long time. Finally I had the opportunity and wasn't disappointed.
Offering a respite from the crowds, Friends' Colony is a quiet green part of the city but not too far from Connaught Place and Khan Market for example.
The hotel itself is beautiful. I am a modernist at heart so was bound to love the building, that it is spotless and the staff incredibly helpful only add to the quality of a stay here. I had some issues with my room (just the kind anyone can experience anywhere in the world, low shower pressure for a while and drop in internet) but was given a new room really speedily.
Really recommend The Manor!
Charging points for phones near bed are always helpful if you rely on your phone as an alarm clock.
Whilst I stayed there was only one restaurant on site. Breakfast was provided but a low key cafè, food and drink offer during the day would have been perfect. As it was the restaurant that is on site, INJA, is excellent but very expensive - as fine dining would be- and not the sort of place for an easy, quick, pit stop. This will be resolved however when the other resident Camillo's returns. I'm sure this will be wonderful but for this European loving, as she does the extraordinary cuisine from the Indian subcontinent, I wouldn't automatically choose Italian food. More local options please!!

Location was good.
Staff were very unhelpful. Made us walk out in the rain to the restaurant while there was a separate covered passageway which we were not informed about.
Rooms and beds are very small as well.

Loved the zen vibe- a peaceful oasis!
My sleep was interrupted by the continuous shuddering of the bed head which kept waking me up; I was told there are trains below but the headboard was loose and bumped against the wall with the vibration so I hope you can fix that for other guests?! My TV didn’t work either.

Beautiful architecture, well maintained. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Easy access to excellent Delhi metro, nearby station is "Ashram".
Nearby road and railroad a bit noisy, albeit adds city character. Very many small mosquitoes render the outdoor terraces somewhat useless. An a la carte breakfast service would be a lot nicer than the very basic buffet.

Location was excellent and the hotel itself was aesthetically designed. The outdoor seating area for breakfast was very pleasant. The staff and the owners were very considerate and helpful.
The room we were initially given did not match the online room description and we were extremely disappointed. However, they soon sorted out the problem and gave us another room which was more in line with our booking. We just had a troubling reception which could have been avoided. Other than this, we had a wonderful stay at The Manor.

In summary, whilst holding itself out as a 4* luxury boutique hotel, our experience was that of a decidedly amateurish operation that turned the final days of our holiday into a disappointing and frustrating encounter.
Having spent two weeks travelling around India, we were looking forward to a restful and relaxing final couple of nights in Delhi where we could unwind, check in for our flights home and do some final bits and pieces in Delhi. The description of this hotel as a tranquil oasis in the middle of the city seemed to fit the bill.
Only it turned out to be one of the most frustrating days of our holiday. To start with, the wifi didn’t work in our room so we couldn’t check in for our flights. We asked reception (and the general manager) for maintenance to look into this, and it took until 3pm for maintenance to arrive and set up a temporary data hotspot solution. He had a list of hotspot names and passwords with him, so I infer this is not an isolated incident and it is a known problem.
This was unfortunately symptomatic of unhelpful and under-trained front of house staff. We had booked massages for the afternoon and, when we went to change, we realised there was only one bathrobe in the room. When I asked front of house for a second one, I was told ‘I will have to check’. There are no signposts to where anything is located in the hotel and so you are completely dependent on front of house staff (if you can find them). Once the bathrobe incident was resolved, instead of showing me the route through the hotel building to the spa, she took me out of the front door, around the building and through the restaurant (bearing in mind I was in a bathrobe) which was inconvenient and embarrassing. Having booked the massages through the hotel (and them holding themselves out as having spa facilities on such websites as booking.

The place is super clean, modern, and in a great location. In the middle of the city, however very quiet and green sector. Their spa is very good as well. This is the best place I've stayed in India so far, much better than any other chain hotels where I've stayed. My only concern is that we were overcharged for the breakfast and they didn't refunded us. They charged us two full breakfast and we only had one full breakfast and then the bowl of fruit from the menu and their food is overpriced. Just be mindful of that when you stay there.
