The host was very kind and friendly and helpfull.
The location of the breakfast was in a newly and poorly decorated barn. The rooms themselves are in another barn. The pictures assume that the rooms are in the mansion but they are not. We heard mice in the walls.

Great location on our route to Bretagne. City centre of Villers-Bocage is only a few minutes by car and has some nice restaurants and shops. Room with one double and two single beds was ideal for our family with youngs kids. Excellent breakfast!
Room is a bit outdated but that also has it's charm.

Fantastic setting - historic chateau in lovely gardens just outside Villers Bocage. Lovely breakfast. Could buy drinks if you wanted them.
The rooms were not as good as the outside would have suggested though they were comfortable and clean.

Extremely kind and generous hostess; wonderful grounds; comfy bed!
Slightly down-at-heel; a few things broken (light switch, sink); but perhaps all part of the “faded glamour”!

The breakfast was fantastic. Really I would say that was the saving grace of our stay. All laid out for us, lovely coffee and everything you would expect and more for a good breakfast.
Very difficult to find, tried ringing a couple of times but it just went to the answer phone. Two young local motor cyclists helped us find it in the end. The proprietor said we needed to come back as she wasn't ready for us. This was 1 hour before the expected time. The room had no TV, no coffee/tea facilities, no internet facilities. The bed was clean and acceptable.

Excellent variety of breakfast foods and both tea and coffee offered and served with a smile. Very friendly and attentive hostess.
Some decor a bit tired. A comfortable chair in our room would have been appreciated.

Stunning Manor House- very peaceful

Convenient layout and parking, and nice breakfast including fresh crepe.
A b&b room really needs a kettle to make coffee and tea.

Our rooms were all very traditional which makes the stay more cosy.
Beautiful decor, lovely little extra touches. Very quiet spot, and very beautiful. Annique was a wonderful hostess. Breakfast excellent and so well presented.

Lovely grand property, very convenient stop off for Caen and Normandy beaches. Local eating options but we drove to Bayeux for supper and a look around, which was great.
Rooms simple but clean, and lovely setting in what were once beautiful grounds.
Friendly host and good breakfast.
Bed/pillow combination too firm.

Delightful owner who was friendly and helpful, fabulous breakfast. Very quiet setting with a beautiful garden.. A late booking, only available room the family room, perfect if you have children, very big,. We are going to go back and have been promised a room overlooking the garden in the main house, looking forward to it.

Lovely property with cute room. Love the feeling of being in an old yet beautiful place. Loved walking around the property and feeling secluded in the country. The host was always smiling and the breakfast was a lovely setup. I hope to come back again someday.
Minor things: little mold outside the shower along the floor, but understandable as the water keeps running off from the shower to the floor. and towel heater did not work in the bathroom.

Breakfast was lovely, lots of fresh pastries and good coffee, served outside. Room was very large. Host made dinner for us late in the evening as we were unable to eat locally. Beautiful surroundings and plenty of space for our dog to run around.
Beds a bit small and not that comfortable.
