The Big Dream awaits!! Updated open concept beach home located two blocks from beach access with gorgeous sound views and private pool!! This is the dream location close to everything the beach has to offer and has direct sunset views! Enjoy your morning coffee on any one of the 3 decks, or make a feast for the family in the amazing and fully stocked kitchen equipped with Jenn- Aire and Bosch appliances. The Big Dream sleeps up to 13 people comfortably in 4 bedrooms and has 2 sleeper sofas with queen beds, one in the enormous Master Bedroom, perfect for the whole family to stay, and another in the downstairs bonus room, great for the kids or privacy for the teens or use as an additional bedroom. So if you need to accomodate several families you easily can! This house has it all! A grill for having fun barbeques, outdoor dining , bikes to take around town and all the beach gear you need for those long sunfilled days at the beach and games for the nights that you just want to have some family time. The main floor living area has the amazing wide open living room and gorgeous kitchen with quartz counters and walk in pantry, 10 ft island, and kitchen nook with seating for everyone! There are 2 bedrooms and one full bath with quartz countertop on the main floor, great for those who want one floor living! The queen bedroom has sound views and seating for reading and the other main floor bedroom has 3 twin beds, perfect for kids ,singles or put two twins together to make a king for couples. Tons of storage options in both bedrooms as well. Lets not forget how convenient the laundry is here for all those beach towels and baithing suits. The top floor has the incredible Master suite with its own private deck with sound views, perfect for the whole family! The master bath has a double vanity with quartz counters, large shower, watercloset and jacuzzi tub and huge walk in closet. Equipped with a super comfy king bed and sleeper sofa, swivel chairs and tons of storage and not to mention a coffee station for your morning coffee and private deck to relax and enjoy the views. The other large bedroom suite on the top floor has its own private bath with quartz counters, walk in closet and 2 queen beds which can easily accomodate 4 people. The ground floor has the mudroom area, perfect for the fur babies to stay while you are out and about exploring and is also the way to access the outdoor shower and back yard! The bonus room is on this floor as well which is great an additional bedrokm for guests or for the kids to have their own area to hang out in with a fun hanging swing chair, and sleeper sofa for sleepovers or use as a 5th bedroom area. There is a half bath here that is an en-suite! And out door shower for you to enjoy! This house is equipped with WIFI and has smart tv in all rooms! The neighborhood is so cute and has a culdesac so kids can play safely outside and dogs can be walked easily. All fresh linens are provided.

We just finished a lovely week at the Big Dream Get Away, with 11 from our 3 generation family from across the world.
The house was on a quiet street with a sense of privacy, despite the houses being close together.
The interior spaces within house were lovely and our group enjoyed being all together on the front porch, back deck, living area, dining area, and also in the pool and its surrounding deck with shade in the morning and late afternoon.
The bedrooms are delightfully decorated and well equipped with linens. My only note would be about the pull out couch on the ground floor room not being optimal for a couple (better for kids with young backs!).
The location allowed us to easily reach the nearby public beach access on foot (10 min) or bike (3 min) and also to access all of the benefits of Atlantic Beach (also by bike), Emerald Isle and Morehead City.
Stacy was very responsive with any question or needs. For example, we had items magically appear on the front porch a few times when we couldn't locate certain things!
The extremely well equipped kitchen had more than ample utensils, pots, pans, glasses and plates for our group, as well as had a ton of standard items needed for cooking (spices, etc).

We have been renting homes for summer vacations for about 25 years. The Big Dream Getaway was the best by far. The decor was beautiful. I have never seen a rental home provide so much for its guests. They had a lot of bikes, beach wagons, beach chairs, boogie boards, pools towels, games, etc. Most surprising, though, was how stocked the kitchen was from all the spices, pancake syrup, oil, baggies of all sizes, foil, and even ketchup in the fridge. They had shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, etc. I brought many items from home that weren't necessary. We'll know next time. We were there during the tropical storm so we only got to go to the beach once. We were able to use the beautiful pool. The pool was cleaned twice during our stay, which is more frequent than other homes we've stayed in over the years. The only slight change I would suggest is to change the listing from 5 bedrooms to 4 bedrooms. There is a nice bonus room with a pull-out sofa, but I wouldn't consider that a bedroom. Our family, including our pets, had a wonderful experience. Stacy is so kind, thoughtful and attentive to every detail. We would love to go back.

We had the best stay at The Big Dream House. Everything was absolutely perfect! The house was clean and super comfortable. Stacy, the owner was attentive and ready to help or answer any question we had. The cozy sofas were perfect for rainy movie days, and the beds were so comfortable! We had 10 people and plenty of room in the house for everyone. The pool and pool lounge chairs were amazing! The house, furnishings, and linens were so nice and definitely an upgrade from your typical beach house. The Big Dream House has everything you need and has been our favorite rental!

My family and I had the best long weekend at Stacy’s beach house celebrating my mom’s birthday. The house has everything you need from cooking essentials to pool floaties to beach chairs and all accommodations were comfy and clean! Having the option of a private pool or the beach really spoiled us. Stacy was so proactive in her communications and also the most hospitable host. Only regret was not booking our stay longer!

The “Big Dream” was exactly that! The home was gorgeous! Very clean and well maintained! The neighborhood was quiet and close to many things. The pool was clean and refreshing! We all felt comfortable and not crowded while enjoying our time together. The majority of our stay, we cooked at the home in which the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed! The absolute best part, in my opinion was the host Stacy! From the time we booked until the day of our departure she was readily available to answer any questions that we had. Stacy made the process of renting, checking in, everything in between and the departure so easy! That says a lot to me! We hope to return in the future to make more memories!

The Big Dream Getaway was everything and more for our family of 13 (10 adults and 3 children ages 4, 7, & 9) who gathered from Texas and NC. The home is well furnished with very comfy beds and furniture throughout. The kitchen is well stocked and amenities galore to include hair dryers in each bath. The laundry equipment is wonderful. This home has ample space for indoor and outdoor gatherings giving everyone room to breathe along with a heated pool which was the favorite area for the kids and adults alike. It is a short walk to the beach, but all kind of beach items are provided for you! Our host, Stacy, is great to work with and responds quickly to any questions. So much love eludes throughout this wonderful home. Check-in and Check-out was seamless. Location is great; easy to get to and convenient for our busy agenda and needs. Should we need to come back to this area in the future, this home will be our choice. The Warren Girls and families fell in love with The Big Dream!! It was hard to leave behind...

This home is amazing. We were so happy there that we only rode over to the beach 2 times. The host provided everything we needed. This is an amazing property with a beautiful pool. We enjoyed the open concept of the kitchen and living area. This home is exquisitely decorated with all the amenities that you will need. We will look forward to returning soon.

We loved the Big Dream Vacation House. Everything at the house was exactly as we hoped. It was clean, comfortable. The pool was incredible. We had no problems at all. Stacy was very helpful whenever we had a question. We stayed for a wedding in town. Had extended family over for dinner one night and house has plenty of spaces to hang out. Loved it! This VRBO had everything we needed to enjoy the beach, It was decorated beautifully, beds were comfortable, the pool was amazing. Cleanliness abounds from sheets to kitchen. Plenty of beach toys, no need to bring your own.Outdoor grill was great. TV's in all rooms. Our host was always available and very nice to work with. I give it 5 stars..

The home was great, comfortable and very accommodating for our family of 12. The pool was a wonderful asset as we spent a lot of time there. The walk to the public beach entry was a little challenging with small children as there was no designated crosswalk across the busy road to the beach. Overall we had a wonderful time and Stacy was a very attentive host.

Family Retreat
Our family enjoyed our week at this beautiful beach home. The pool, well stocked kitchen, porches and spacious family room were places we came together for fun and food. A plethora of beach gear was a amazing. Stacy was a gracious host who provided guest a warm welcome and she was available with help and recommendations that made our experience even better. We are grateful for beautiful time to retreat and reunite as a family. Definitely would love to return.

Excellent Relaxing Time
We loved the Big Dream. The owner was super responsive in answering all of our questions and in providing guidance. The house was spotless and we just fell in love with the natural light, coziness, and warmth of the house. Location was great - short walk to the beach even though a bit chilly this time of year. We cant wait to come back and give the pool a try!

Uncleanliness of the house got my family sick and the owner blindly blamed us for damages
The house looked clean, but hidden spots (under furniture, under the rug, etc.) were dusty and had large amounts of pet dander. I was open to cleaning myself, but there was no vacuum cleaner. My family members got sick with bad allergies, which we dealt with days after leaving the property. My husband, daughter, and nieces were so sick that they were prescribed antibiotics. We have two dogs (non-shedding/hypoallergenic), but none of us ever suffered any allergic reactions outside this house. I could tell for sure that the pet dander did not come from our dogs. There was also an issue with a rusty microwave, but owner did send a temporary replacement right away. Although, it should have been replaced immediately before accepting guests.
Claimed damages during our stay were not acceptable. We did call out the lack of cleanliness and were surprised by damages claimed - with what was already there, to begin with. None of the imperfections bothered us, but claiming that we were responsible for it was not the right thing to do. We, unfortunately, did not take pictures upon our arrival but didn't expect an untrustworthy situation at the end. Claims that were made against the insurance company by the owner were questionable, in my opinion. The owner complained about scratches on the wooden floor, which was already there - hidden under a chair. It seemed like the owner needed someone to blame for insurance claims to fund repairs of existing damages/imperfections before our arrival. The allergies from pet dander kept many of us bedridden. I don't see how any of us could have caused damages based on the claims made - it cost me my $500 deposit. The owner did not send photos of the damages claimed, and it was purely her words against mine. We rented many vacation properties, and I have not experienced this situation. We treat all properties like our own.
I would not recommend this property if you have pet allergies. With this insurance claim, I trust the owner will use it to improve the quality of the house and hopefully will find cleaners that will take their work seriously and not just focus on surface cleaning. It is just unfortunate that the existing damages/imperfections were claimed at our expense/during our stay.
I would also advise that you request a walk-through and take detailed photos of even the slightest imperfections to avoid a similar situation we dealt with.
However, we did find some joy in our stay. Owner replied quickly.

We had a great week in AB, house was gorgeous, comfortable, with all amenities. Very nice that pool and beach equipment was available. There is a short walk to the beach but that is explained in the rental details, and is what we expected. Loved walking back from the beach and getting in the pool in the late afternoon. We had no issues with the house, and Owners reached out proactively to ensure we had everything we needed! Would rent again!!

Great property made for a great stay!
We had an awesome time at this beautiful property! The layout was comfy and functional for extended family socializing, the pool and BBQ were awesome, and there were a lot of helpful things at the rental (kitchen, pool, beach, and games) to make trip planning easy. Stacy was quickly responsive to questions and was able to inform me asap that I had left my AirPods in a drawer before we left the area. Thank you for providing a great place to stay!

August Vacation
The on line photos were deceiving and need to be updated. The construction beside us and across the street was distracting. Our check in was a good 30 minutes delayed as the cleaning crew was not finished. We had no place to park because the cleaning crew had 4 cars in the parking spaces. The house itself was fine and all in all we had a great week.

Nice property, but…
This is a lovely, beautifully furnished property. The pool and backyard are very nice and our grands had a great time swimming in the afternoons. The issues we had with the house were minor but could have been avoided. For example, in our previous rentals we loaded and started the dishwasher and the cleaning staff unloaded it. This rental required that the renters unload it which meant that any dishes, platters used after the dishwasher was started had to be hand washed. When we first used some of the platters and dishes, they were not really clean. There were dust bunnies in some of the closets and under the beds. The dryer did not function well, the owner had new appliances on order but it would have been nice to be advised about the dryer before we arrived. There is a street light that shines directly into the master bedroom. The curtains did not really cut down on the light. And, the walk to the beach is across a main road and not a short distance with. I parking lot by the closet beach entrance.

Our week at the beach was wonderful! The house was perfect with everything we needed for our vacation. We like to cook and the kitchen was especially well stocked with lots of dishes, pots, and pans. The pool was particularly nice as we had two children ages 5 and 3 with us. However, the beach was easy to get to, as well.

We really enjoyed our stay with Stacy. The house was beautifully decorated, with all the kitchen supplies and beach stuff you need. The pool was so nice to have after a long beach day. The beach was a little further than we expected, making it a little difficult with younger kids being far from beach enterance.

Family beach vacation
Beautiful house set up very well for a rental. Lots of considerate touches (like all the pool floats and beach gear). Bedrooms definitely needed light blocking shades as the street light and early morning sun was brutal for light sleepers. Pool was wonderful, but the major construction right next door, although a temporary thing, ruined that vibe. Overall a great house and nice stay with some drawbacks.

Great place!
Beautiful and comfortable house just off the beach. plenty of space to lounge around. Kitchen was also very spacious and we used it quite a bit. the kids loved the playroom. We have a toddler and he was very excited about exploring all the nick nacks around the house! Would def recommend this spot!

Beautiful home
It’s a beautiful home and so comfortable inside lounging or out on one of three porches. Everything was supplied to make our trip easy. Owner quickly replied to a few requests and questions. No beach access but a short drive away; and limited parking options. Wear an eye mask if you like to sleep past sunrise.

Amazing trip to the beach!
Stacy’s house was beautiful! The photos were great, but when we arrived, we were blown away with how amazing the home was is person, and all of the touches around the home to make it a comfortable home away from home. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we could think of (beach chairs, beach bags, bikes, kitchen items, toiletries, comfortable beds and furniture), to make the vacation really feel like one! We will definitely be coming back! She was incredibly responsive when we had any questions, and was fantasic to rent from!
