Location for Mont Saint Michel
walk distance to the fate through the meadow with sheep.
we could see the sheep walking the street and meadow.
not so convenient
nothing around there.
if this hotel is really Auberge, then it will be much better.

La localisation très proche du mont st Michel on le voyait de la chambre, la chambre était spacieuse, les lits confortables. La dame de l'accueil est très sympa.
Petit plus le passage des moutons qui rentre à la bergerie le soir .

I loved how close this hotel was to Mont-Saint-Michel, the sheep 🐑 and nearby restaurants.
Nothing. Everything was wonderful.

Room was clean, comfy beds, quiet location like country side. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacy parking place, easy and quick access to Mont Saint Michele.
I would suggest to the owner to think about small electric kettle in the rooms. Especially for guests who coming back late night from Mont saint Michele., as the restaurant is closed in general.
Lightning in the bathroom is quit poor.

The room was generally clean, comfy and brightly lit. Due to its location, you can view Mont St Michel just outside in the fields where a large crowd gathers at night. The view is majestic and is nice when it's not raining.
However, due to the location it was based in where there were a lot of sheep, there were also equally a huge number of flies. You will notice this immediately in the reception. Location-wise it is far and you will have to either walk or drive. No public transport options and no carhire (e.g. Uber).

Everything was lovely. The room was spacious. Staff gracious. Breakfast delicious. Hot water bath to soft or hard boil eggs was a nice touch. Great automatic coffee machine. A real bathtub, which is rare on the continent. Heaven!
The only complaint is there were a lot of flies about.

Good parking. Location is OK if you want to go on foot to the island.
There was not shower but bathtub with 20 cm hair in it. The room ceilings are low and I hit the ceiling with my head. The room was little noisy. Very limited breakfast.

The front staff was very welcoming

It provides amazing views over to Mont St Michel and you can easily walk over to the castle and island
There is not really any food options around so not ideal if you do not have a mode of transport

welcoming staff! clean and great location overlooking Mont st Michel. love the rurality of the location and the adorable sheep traveling through
stairs to the room

the view across the street is Mont St Michel! we were in our room in the evening when literally hundreds of sheep went through the road between the hotel. it was something very special! the location is great!

I was surprised that nobody was at the reception on a Tuesday afternoon and the reception was closed. I have requested in advance if I can do the checkin before the schedule hour but nobody answered.

We were welcomed by the friendly receptionist who has made our stay very comfortable and warmth. This location offered a nice view of Mont St Michel as well. Would highly recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Pontorson.
Though there’s no electric kettle in the room, we were able to get hot water from the dining area. The rest of the facilities are good.

Very well located, perfect for people who enjoy walking. Through the fields you can get to the St Michele just in 20min. The rooms were well equipped and spacious enough for a family stay. We stayed two nights, one in family room and one night in two double rooms. Breakfast was good value for money.
The double bed was actually two single beds.
In the family room, it would be nice to have door between the rooms, instead of a curtain.

This venue is pretty close to Mont Saint-Michel and was very comfortable. Whilst enjoying breakfast in the dining room, a mob of sheep passed by, probably to graze on the marshland near MSM.
We had been advised that the dining room had not yet reopened and had to drive to a restaurant in the next town.

20 minute walk to the navettes at Mont St. Michel. Clean rooms. Rural location. I got to see the sheep being herded to their field when we were packing up the car in the morning. Great view of MSM at night and at sunrise. Quiet. Plenty of free parking.
We had to leave before breakfast was served. We requested one ground-level room, but were not able to get one.

This was a funny experience that in a weird way turned out to be fun because it made us laugh!
Room although basic was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Girl on reception was lovely.
We had a fantastic meal at " Le Pre Sale " restaurant, 30 min walk up the road.
OK for one night.
This is not a hotel but a roadside motel and it is very basic - although to be fair it does state 2 star but I think I was blinded by other reviews that it was better. Yes you can see Mont St Michel from the road by it ( not from the rooms ) and you can walk across the fields opposite to it ( wear good footwear as it a bit rough and as it had been raining the day before so it was very boggy indeed ) Takes about 60 mins walk for average person unless you cut across the rough middle terrain.
There is nothing near the hotel at all and the restaurant isn't open so we ended up walking half hour up to the main park and ride " Beauvoir " area where all the other hotels and restaurants are and walking back in the dark.
Bedrooms are reached externally up a metal staircase on the road covered in sheep droppings.
Reception only open certain times for check in

Very thin walls, but for a couple of nights that's not a big deal

Conveniently located to walk to the shuttle to Mont St. Michel. Decent sized twin room. Plenty of on site parking. Adequate for 1 night stay for 2 motorcyclists on a budget.
Bar and restaurant were closed which wasn't made clear in the listing before booking.

The location for this hotel was great. You are definitely out in nature. The sheep were amazing to see, a little less amazing to smell. The hotel was perfect for our needs.

Excellent location for visiting Mont St Michel by foot - directly over the meadows, walking between the grazing sheep (ca 3 km). Two times a day, the sheep also pass the hotel on the way to and from the meadow. Breakfast was good, wifi too, the parking was included in the price. The main road going towards the island, and the restaurants siding it, are a bit far for walking. But consider it a plus.
The restaurant of the hotel was unfortunately closed. They served the breakfast though.

Lovely walk across to Mont St Michael, clean room
Rooms are a little snug, ours was directly onto the road so anyone walking past could look in. shower took ages to drain
