We loved our stay here! We stayed for one night, however, would have loved to stay for more. The Ferme is just so beautiful and every thought has been given to finishing touches. We enjoyed all the outside facilities, the seating areas and hot tub at the end of the day watching the sun go down. The next day we didn’t leave until midday and sat inside looking out over the view. The food was wonderful and host Valerie so welcoming. I’d just like to add, having read another review about the car parking and uphill walk. We had no issue with this, and left all our belongings in the car park and bikes on the back and just took our overnight bag with us, you have to walk along a road for a small amount of time to get to the Ferme, but it really wasn’t an issue, there are some steps to go up to get to the Ferme… but they were easy enough and again proved no issue! Highly recommend !

unique, individual very old, timber frame, property and furnishings inside.
food was served outside and eaten with other guests, set choice and delicious
located on a hill side, up many steps and parking 100m away, which wasnt easy as we had alot of luggage and were unable to leave it in the car

La ferme d’angele is like a fairytale. The house is solid, very authentic and comfortable. Beautiful cozy atmospheric rooms, outdoor jacuzzi, cold tub (which is a blessing for the muscles after a long hike, so we’ve learned;-)), nice chill area, very Nice breakfast and Beautiful fresh home cooked dinner. And last but most important the host is the cherry on the cake. Absolutely lovely and most helpful person you could wish for during your holiday. Valerie for president! We made such Beautiful and special hikes thanks to her. We can only be greatful :-)

Our stay at La Ferme d'Angele was simply spectacular. We have never stayed at a place like this, with the charm of an old chalet, the coziness of a small family run hotel, while offering so much luxury. The old house was restored beautifully and Valerie decorated it with taste. Our room was very cozy and romantic, it offered a double bed and shower/sink on the lower floor and two single beds on a very cute Mezzanine that our son loved. There was also a balcony with an incredible view of the mountains and overlooking the valley. As other's have mentioned, the private toilet was not located in the room but was at the end of the corridor. There was a common area with a large seating area and a TV, rocking chair, chess board and again a beautiful view. There was also an outdoor jacuzzi and a hot tub, which we enjoyed very much after a long day in the snow. The garden around was decorated with many lights, it was really beautiful. We did not ski this year, as our son was still a bit young, but we drove to la Rosière to go sledding and to enjoy the snow. La Rosière seems to be a great Skiing Resort and the drive there was just about 15-20 minutes. One day we also took the chair lift (Ecudets) that departs a 5 minute drive from the house and is another good option for Skiers and Snowboarders to get to la Rosière. We also enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners offered at the hotel. Valerie is a really good cook and everything was homemade and delicious. We stayed over Christmas and she cooked a wonderful Christmas dinner and also made the evening very special for the kids. The breakfasts and dinners takes place in the "living room" of the house where one is already greeted with a warm fire in the morning and everyone starts gathering around the fire for an Apéro before dinner. In summary, this place is simply magical and it is all due to Valerie, who is a wonderful hostess and makes this place so warm and welcoming.
Nothing! This is as good as it can get.

It happens sometimes you don’t know what to expect from the place but you have a good feeling... found by an amazing and inspiring Valerie 17 years ago it still a place to escape. You wake up every morning with the mountains view surrounded by peace and tranquility. You know that Valerie is making pancakes every morning and excited about dinner. Originally we came for one day but stayed for a few more nights and decided to come back again. It feels like your summer cottage with loads of plum trees around that smell delicious. It made me go back to my childhood memories where we spent warm evenings chatting about life and enjoying nice company. It’s all about heart and soul that Valerie and Thierry puts into everything she does. We happened to meet most of their family and found a new summer home where you can always come back to. Grateful for this opportunity to meet an amazing family as it’s all about connection between us. Wishing all the best and can’t thank you enough for making us feel so happy here... if you’d like to connect with nature and amazing people it’s a place for you ❤️❤️❤️

The locations and views are fabulous and the owners very friendly.
The property is not well cleaned. Lots of things left out in the rain have gone mouldy, the cutlery was not well washed and the rooms were dusty. The rooms are also very small. Tolerable for a one night stay.
